  1. Should be "he is reportedly STILL overweight and lazy."
  2. When the Bills play down here in My Yami in September/October, it isn't any different. My recollection is that they won down here last year in the blistering heat.
  3. Neither McCain/Palin nor Obama/Biden are going to "go to war" with Russia. This thread is ridiculous.
  4. No way, 1/4 mile away??!! Oh man, I am speechless. I'm with you on hiking my a$$ out of there, though. I'd rather kick the bucket from hiking myself to death than die just sitting there.
  5. Almost as dangerous as driving and: texting/dialing, reading the newspaper, putting on makeup, shaving, etc. etc. etc. [insert uncontrollable shuddering here].
  6. Saw the movie (I think). He mistakenly ate the wrong vegetation and starved to death because of the effects (if I have the right movie and the movie was on track with the book). He was stranded because of a flood, otherwise he may have lived to 99. There is a big difference between nuzzling up to Grizzly Bears and living off the land.
  7. I'm half surprised the zebras didn't throw a flag on that play and then make up some hokey ficticious rule on the spot ("Player Lined Up In The Nether Regions"). All seasoned Buffalo fans are well aware of the Nefarious Football League's thinly veiled conspriacy to throw bogus flags at the worst possible moment on the Bills....wink wink nudge nudge....sort of.
  8. I'm not sure the Bills are "Superbowl Contenders"....just yet....but I do know this....the Seahawks aren't! It would be a shame if the Seahawks didn't put forth their best efforts in Holmgren's last year....but after watching the game, it makes me wonder. Gotta love Zorn and Largent, though. I wish Zorn well with the Skins. Thanks for the thoughtful post!
  9. Gotta respectfully disagree with you on Hamdan. He has very little real game experience under his belt and has most likely been working more with the backups than starters. We would be handing our offense to the 3rd string QB. Just watch what happens to NE with their 2nd string QB. You never know what can happen to starting QB's (Simms, Culpepper, Thiesman, etc.), so I'd rather hang on to JP this year for insurance reasons. Granted it was the first game of the year, but this team showed a lot of potential. If Edwards goes down, I think there is a BIG drop off between JP and Hamdan; otherwise JP would already be gone or Hamdan would be #2. Call me cautious, but I think we have to keep JP this season.
  10. Read below: "You can post all of the Jaguars' weaknesses and turn around and prop em up because your scared to go all out, only moments later say that the Bills have the edge in every category."
  11. I'll take the Phoebe Cates sequence when she emerges from the pool. Yikes-a-mundo!
  12. Absotively NOT. And leave the Bills in the hands of Billy Joe Nobody if Edwards goes down?
  13. Acting lessons for his kids?
  14. This post would have a little more credibility if the writer know the friggin' difference between "your" and "you're".
  15. Sorry if this is old news.....I just noticed it on NFL.com
  16. Let's do the AFC East first there, Seabiscuit!!!
  17. Not with Cassel, they won't. Puhlease.
  18. From NFL.com: "Tom Brady suffered a serious knee injury against the Chiefs that will end his 2008 season, reports NFL Network’s Adam Schefter. Meanwhile, free-agent quarterback Chris Simms is scheduled to arrive in New England Monday morning for a workout and a physical, Schefter reports. If all goes well, Simms could be a Patriot by the end of the day." AFC East is wiiiiiiiide open boys and girls!!!
  19. I'll take the Bills with their backup QB (JPL) over NE, NYJ and MY Yami with their backup QB's. Not even close. Let's see NE win 8 games with Cassel <insert derisive snort here>.
  20. The Jets and My Yami see NE twice a year, too. Agreed that w/o Tommy B, the Pats are an entirely different team. Without Brady, the Pats are 8-8. Maybe. Until the Bills develop any semblance of a pass rush, the last point is mooted.
  21. It's not the Putrid Porpae that have the media enamored, it's Parcells....as if he has some magic Tuna Dust that he sprinkles on players and turns them into instant SB contenders. Wayne "The Evil Imp" Huizenga is selling off the team in chunks and will be getting out of the NFL soon. If Parcells took over the East Poughkeepsie Flapnoodles, the media would have them in the spotlight too.
  22. I respectfully disagree. This is why Peters needs to show his butt in camp. Who else in this league is going to put up with that kind of attitude? He is hurting himself in the long run by putting himself over and above the team. Is there any doubt that the Bills would renegotiate his contract if he showed up?
  23. Hell....even Bruce can't compare to Bruce. Wait....Lee or Smith? Sorry.....couldn't 'hep m'sef.
