  1. perhaps.....I saw him drop a lot of passes the little I saw him. Looked like the Robert Royal of WR's. Nonetheless....worth bringing in and seeing if he can make it. He certainly would take the double coverage off of Evans.
  2. Most of the time, they tell the pet's owners what needs to be done to be in compliance and give them an appropriate amount of time to do so. Usually, it amounts to: shelter, food & water.
  3. Check your local ordinances and see what they say. Some are pretty specific and detail distances, length of time, loudness (decibels), time of day and so on. Others are vague or practically non existant. If that dog is outside, by itself, and there isn't anything around to cause it to bark (other dogs, cats, etc.), I guarantee you, it isn't barking because it is happy.
  4. In most states, as long as the dog has shelter, food and water, it is legal to do that. I would check and see if that is the case. If it isn't, call the authorities. Other than that, get a dog whistle and go all Clarence Clemmons on the dog when it starts barking.
  5. Point taken regarding the draft, but that may be more of a case of having those particular players available at that draft position. IMO, they need a pass rushing hellion, deep threat WR, TE and then a really good center. Of those, I think the only one who could make an immediate contribution is a pass rusher. What 2 positions do you see as the Bills most pressing need to address in the draft and who do you think the Bills should go after? It will be interesting to compare what they do to what you predict. Regarding DJ, given his coaching gaffes and clock bungling, I would NOT want to see him make the draft calls. Or the FA calls either, for that matter. And he is facing a suicidal schedule next season that will almost certainly cost him his job.
  6. Sorry to hear about this. All the best Dante....and keep us informed.
  7. He's not going to settle for 3rd string behind Jackson, so either the Bills would trade Jackson, demote Jackson to #3 or Ida Know.
  8. There isn't any reasonable way to stop them from doing it. They have the technology, they have the equipment, they don't want to be left behind in the "nuculear" race and they're going to do it no matter what.
  9. ...annnnnnd a new HC for the 2010 season.
  10. 1. Getting another receiver to take the double coverage off of Evans has been a glaring problem. Glaring might be the understatement of the year, however. This has been screamingly obvious from the beginning of the season, and Schonert bringing this up at this point is downright laughable. 2. The Bills always go after "the best player available" in the draft. Don't expect anything to change, regardless of their needs. 3. If Jauron finishes with an 8-8, or even a 4th consecutive 7-9 record with next year's horrifically brutal schedule, he deserves a medal, a statue and a parade. He won't, so put away those party hats. 4. Regardless of who the Bills pick up in the draft, see #3. 5. The Bills need a bona fide pass rush, a second legitimate deep threat WR, a QB with consistency and a coaching staff that doesn't call bone headed plays and handle the clock like it was a wet, flopping barracuda. 6. We could get an impact pass rusher in FA or the draft. Assuming that Fewell will actually call blitzes more than once a game, that would be a big, big help. The only way we are realistically going to get a legitimate deep threat WR is through FA, Trent has GOT to be more consistent and God Help Us All regarding the coaching staff.
  11. What CEO is worth $193 million? Larry Ellison: Oracle. Nabeeb Gareel, MEMC Electronic Materials: $79.6 million. John Chambers, Cisco: $54.8 million. And this is just the top three from the Tech Industry. Like everybody else has said, it's whatever the market will bear. The players are going to demand the cash and the owners will find a way to pony up. Especially the best players and the owners with the deepest pockets. It has always been thus.
  12. In the case of Dickie the J, it probably hurts. They seem to be able to perform like crap and keep their jobs, anyway. Hmm.....oddly enough......just like Dickie the J.
  13. I don't care if the players hate the HC so much he has to hire security guards 24/7. If he can turn this buch of underachievers into winners, we will all sing his praises to the high heavens.
  14. LOL! About the only thing you forgot was falling off a cliff with an Acme Anvil tied to his leg!
  15. I highly doubt SR is going to start. He is a career backup. 2008: (6 games) 79.5 QB Rating, 62.5% Completion: 6 TD: 10 Int: 9 Sacks .....although the Bills made him look superhuman for one game........
  16. If you've checked out the schedule, there's your perfect storm right there. This team, as much as I love 'em, will be lucky if they win 5 games next season. And honestly, I would have had them at 3 wins. But..... since Favre retired, I think they might be able to sneak by the Jets. If Dickie the J pulls out a 7-9 season next year, it will be a monumental miracle.
  17. Not as long as Dickie the J is running the show. If there is a rake anywhere near, he'll step on it. I have absolutely zero confidence in his ability and can show you 7 out of 8 losing seasons to back it up.
  18. As long as Dickie the J is still there, this would be like giving Eric Clapton's guitar to a crappy guitarist.
  19. News flash....he got B word smacked by a Poorpiss TWICE last year. Not to mentiion a Patriot, a Jet and a host of others. When has that Frozen Head been committal or even enthusiastic about anything? He says the most inane, innocuous crap, possible. Politicians could actually learn from him.
  20. If this is even remotely true, then the Bills Brain Trust is bailing on TE, at least as the starter.
  21. Looks like the Fins aren't going to use the FT on any of their FA's. Anyone see any possibilities here? http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/footbal...0,2117080.story
  22. Pretty much in agreement with you. It would be a pile of $$ for 1 (possibly) productive year. Smells like Favre.
  23. Man, he is one eloquent MF, isn't he? If he was any more non committal, it would be called; silence.
  24. Al Sharpton.....reasonable human being? In the same post? Yikes!
