EVH is dumped on a lot because of the antics of DLR, which dominated and diminished the musical accomplishments of the band, IMHO. The fact that EVH can't read music (his own words) makes me appreciate his ability that much more.

Actually, you have a good point. The years Tasker was used as a WR (1995-1996), he averaged 1.95 catches/game. However... (you knew that was coming), Parrish (age 23-26/1.76 catches per game) is in his prime. Tasker (age 33-34/1.95 catches per game) wasn't. Plus, Tasker was THE consummate Special Teams Hellion. In fact, that term was created just for him. I'm not saying "Don't keep Roscoe". I am saying that he is a non-factor as a WR and while valuable as a punt returner, is replaceable.

Ditto. On critical 3rd and >=5 situations, and there will be many, I want Reed on the field. That will keep drives alive and Lord knows, we need that.

This will be a big hit in Key West.

He's a weapon on punt returns, but he's only averaged 1.76 catches per game as a WR. I don't see him having any more of a role as a WR with TO on the field than before....probably less.

With all due respect, that is a prejudiced and narrow minded post. The opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is indifference. Love and hate are equally strong emotions. Love can turn to hate in the space of one argument. You have to be emotionally invested in something or someone in order to hate. No emotional investment = indifference. All these people bitching their heads off are doing so because they have very strong emotions regarding the Bills. I don't give a crap about Seattle, or Green Bay, or Houston or Paris Hilton or Mel Gibson or brussels sprouts. I give a crap about the Bills, therefore I B word when bitching is in order. And it is very much in order. And just for the record, I was born and raised in Buffalo and saw them come into the AFL. Enough has been written about Wilson, Jauron, the FO, Schonert, Peters, Losman, 9 years without a playoff appearance, third consecutive year of 7-9, collapsing after starting 5-1, and on and on and on. This organization has been a mess for several years and everyone knows it. Some Bills fans have switched to other teams. Well....buh bye! Their new team will fall on hard times sooner or later. 'Tis the nature of the NFL beast. A vast majority of Bills fans are sick and tired of the mediocrity and ineptitude that the Bills organization has displayed over the last several years. And because they care so deeply about the Bills, they B word. If you want to get upset about something, get upset when the Bills have another bad year and they stop bitching.

Proven wide receiver? Am I missing something here? He's played 55 games and had 97 catches for an average of 1.76 catches per game. Not what I would call a proven wide receiver. Kick & punt returner, yes. Proven wide receiver, no.

The Browns game was painful to watch. Quinn looked like he was ready to start on fire and Lindell's missed kick was agonizing. Yet another example of Jauron's group getting out-coached and out-played by an ostensibly inferior team. Morris is pretty much the anti-Jauron. I thought the Bills could use a shot of enthusiasm. Raheem may have an up and down 1st year, but I'll bet he becomes a very good HC in this league.

Just watch the game for as long as you stand it and then get back to me after Brees puts up 250+ yards. After what KC & Denver did to Fewell's defense last year, Brees is going to have a field day. If the offensive numbers don't go up with TO on the team, the blame will fall on Edwards; not the receivers, not the OL, and not Jauron/Schonert no matter what the problem really is. Whether that blame is accurate or not, it will still end up being pinned on Edwards.
