  1. I'm buyin'. Mine.
  2. I don't fault DJ for lack of talent. I, and and a lot of others, fault him for not developing the talent this team has as well as for plain crappy coaching and clock mismanagement. There is talent on the Bills. This coaching staff makes almost zero use of it. The excuse that he is a "defensive minded coach" is absolutely no excuse whatsoever for his well documented coaching mistakes and crappy record. Tom Coughlin is a defensive minded coach. Mike Tomlin is a defensive minded coach. John Harbaugh is a defensive minded coach. So is Mike Smith. All of those guys came up through the ranks as defensive coaches. It's about time to stop ignoring the elephant in the room. Put a bona fide top tier HC at the helm and see what happens. If the Bills flop then, I'll admit I was wrong. Jauron was out coached last year and will continue to get out coached by the likes of Belichick, Sparano, and a host of others. Bum Phillips said of Tom Landry, "He can take his'n and beat your'n, then he can take your'n and beat his'n". No one will EVER say that about the so-called defensive minded Jauron.
  3. Bingo to the last sentence.
  4. Amen bro. Snert & Fewell aren't real high on my list, either. But at least they don't bring the consistent 7-9 track record that Dickie the J drags around. Not yet......... I think you are going to be disappointed if you think the Bills are gong to bring in a Cowher or Shanahan (for example) and Ralph is still around next year. I love the guy but he has never shelled out the big jing for a top tier HC.
  5. You braggin' or bitchin'?
  6. SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, EGGS AND SPAM!!!
  7. OK. I am honestly trying to figure out here, if you are pulling one great MF of a long-con or you actually believe yourself. I'm still not convinced either way, although I am leaning in a particular direction. I'll give you this, you have just about the right mix of statistics, buzz words, economic factoids and what ostensibly sounds like delusional paranoia, to make it challenging.
  8. But you forgot to finish off your last sentence with, "but we still have the same coach(es)".
  9. Dang....I was sure Crazy Al would jump at JP for the Raidahs. Especially now since they drafted Heyward-Bey. I think that would be perfect..... A QB who can throw a mile but not hit anything, passing to a receiver who can run 100 mph but not catch anything. That's gotta be Crazy Al's wet dream if there ever was one.
  10. I thought silver was for Werewolves or Mothra or Amy Winehouse or something? I can buy 3 lottery tickets and immediately tell whether they will win or not...... NO, NO and NO.
  11. Boy do I agree with this post. Especially the first three sentences. I'm tired of trying to use different analogies to illustrate the point about "good workers + bad management = crappy results". People are going to believe what they want to believe and ignore a mountain of facts and evidence in the process. Fine by me. I give up. Let 'em believe that DJ will suddenly transform into a competent, winning coach, "if only <insert favorite reason here>".
  12. OK....so over the course of last season (for example), how many wise VS foolish moves did Mike Tomlin make? How many did Ken Wisenhunt make? How many did John Harbaugh make? Good coaches press more right buttons than wrong and make more good decisions than bad. DJ has simply not shown that ability over his career. Regarding objective and level-headed, not to mention some undeniable statistics, DJ's head coaching record is a losing one. A losing one by a very long shot. The most compelling thing one could say about him is that he is consistent. Over the course of 5 seasons as HC of Chicago, his win/loss average was 7-9. His 3 year record with the Bills is also 7-9. His win percentage in 5 seasons at Chicago is .438%. His win percentage in 3 seasons at Bufflao is also .438%. So if there are 2 supportable statements that can be made regarding DJ's coaching history, they are: 1. He has had 7 out of 8 losing seasons as a Head Coach. 2. He is very consistent. And that doesn't include going 1-4 as interim HC in Detriot in 2005.
  13. Interesting yet depressing stat: DJ's average win/loss record in 5 years at Chi Town: 7-9 <insert Twilight Zone music here>
  14. Guess what Dickie the J's averaged win/loss record was during his 5 years at Chi Town...... Ready? 7-9!!! GASP!!!
  15. Farve will stay retired. The usually reliable voices in my head told me so.
  16. Neither did anyone have that opinion of 6th round draft fodder, Tom Brady.
  17. And that assessment will undoubtedly be correct. This team wins in spite of the so-called coaching staff, not because of them. Dickie the J couldn't teach the ocean how to be wet. Well....maybe he could teach the ocean how to be wet, but he sure as hell couldn't motivate the ocean to produce waves.
  18. Certainement! SQ
  19. That "renewed optimism" is more than likely going to do a nasty "snap back to resigned pessimism" once the initial euphoria over TO and the draft is over. By which I mean, after the first game of the season against the Patriots, in New England. You will have fans calling for the heads of Dickie the J, Snert, Fewell, Edwards, Lynch (who won't even be playing) and if TO drops a few balls, his head too. They may be so enraged at this point, they'll call for the head of the first person who pops into their mind, like.... DEREK JETER, or KATIE HOLMES-CRUISE-SPACE-WHATCHAMAJIGGER, or BOB DYLAN or SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. Will Jauron improve ...... well ..... anything? Has he made any adjustments, before, during or after a game? By that I mean adjustments that haven't turned into a disaster? Could anyone tell if he actually made any adjustments? Would his lips move or his eyes blink or his expression change? See what too much botox does to you? You'll be doomed to a life of expressionless, decisionless, repetitive-nothingness. I think it'll be a miracle if the Bills win 6 games this year. And that would mean sweeping the Jets and Indy playing their scrubs in the last game if they've got the division locked up. Dickie the J could fall on the sword by mid season. They could be 3-5 or even 2-6 at the break. Ralph would probably keep Snert and Fewell through the season and let the new HC give them the heave-ho. I'm picking 5-11 with Chewtabacca in the 2nd, Dingleberry in the 3rd, box 'em, fold 'em, give 'em a tail and slap the walrus. I heard somebody say that at the Lottery counter and I have absolutely NO idea what it means.
  20. Here's another one....a recent one.... Timecrimes. Hands down, worlds worst time travel movie ever. Hispanic actors, badly overdubbed in English. I wanted to personally maim all 3 Hectors by the end of this so-called movie. Nice boob shots, though. Can I say "boob"?
  21. OK...you have your your own version of things and you are certainly entitled to it. I don't happen to think that things are as unraveled and unfixable as you. Just because you say thing are so, doesn't make them so. Same goes for me. But understand that for centuries, people have been delivering the same "this is end of life as we know it.....and HERE'S PROOF" speech. With as much conviction and so-called proof as you, and probably more. Yet....here we are. So I'll take you up on your offer. Let's get back on this next election and see how different your life, my life and the world is, OK? But please, pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease, don't let Dick Jauron still be coaching the Bills.
  22. Gee, that must have been funny.
  23. The Food of the Gods, 1976 with THE, yes....THE Marjoe Gortner. This one bit the big barloonga. Dialogue so bad you wanted to run skewers through your ears.
  24. Sure! I'll take a picture with my Reebok's. (Yes, I know they're shoes, but this time it'll be different....)
