  1. And it's likely that Iran will follow suit in the not too distant future. Both of those countries are going to push the envelope to see what the response is. Neither country cares about sanctions or condemnation, either from the US, UN or internationally. My guess is that they will produce a nuclear warhead to show that they are capable of producing more and then attempt to use it as leverage in negotiations. The question is: what will they be negotiating for?
  2. Oh boy..... The gojillionth irrelevant JP post. What's next......Billy Joe Hobert?
  3. Busey was hysterical....don't know it it was intentional or not, but hysterical nonetheless. You should catch his "commentary" on "World's Dumbest XYZ"....classic!
  4. Lisa is funny for about the first 3 minutes you see her. Then it's the same old tired shtick that Stern does.
  5. A classic! Sorely missed these days.....sigh....
  6. What? No Marjoe Gortner? Hah....I barf in this movie's general direction.
  7. When I used to teach programming, my favorite saying was.... All programs work on paper.
  8. Yeah, yeah, yeah..... so did Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Heath Shuler, Rick Mirer, Todd Marinovich, Akili Smith and that list goes on and on and on, speaking of superficial numbers. All of that amounts to phffft. I could make the same meaningless statement about Dick Jauron's NFL playing experience and so-called knowledge of football, which as we all know, translates verbatim into a 7-9 career record. Most so-called "experts" said the same thing about Doug Flutie. I'll take a guy who comes up short on stats but excels in the "win" and "leadership" categories every single day. There are reasons Tebow has been so successful his entire career and when people get past their myopia on "stats", they will actually recognize what they are.
  9. Tebow's completion percentage is an average of 65.8, McKoy's is 70, Bradfords is 68.7 McKoy has the edge but I will still take Tebow because of his leadership abilities and his history of winning.
  10. This was lizards & crabs & stuff superimposed over cheesy sets, no?
  11. It is most likely the last year to get things right for several members of the Bills team. Starting with the painfully obvious; the head coach. Then Schonert, maybe Fewell and even Edwards. Regardless of how Edwards does this season, I would love to see the Bills draft Tebow, although I'm in the minority on that. I think he is going to polish his QB skills this year at UF and do for some NFL team, exactly what he has done throughout his high school and college career: lead and win. The naysayers will now chip in.......
  12. Reed's "Rock & Roll Animal" was a masterpiece.
  13. My Yami has a 1st rate HC iand motivator n Sparano, something Buffalo lacks. I would pick NE to win the division with My Yami as a possible wild card. NY and Buffalo will finish up out of the playoffs unless Ryan can duplicate what happened at My Yami, Atlanta and Baltimore last season. To so that, Ryan will have to build a defensive, smash-mouth team, which may be hard to do in his first year and the lack of a top tier QB will hurt the Jets. Henne will be very capable of taking over for Pennington from what I've seen. He's had a year to learn the system and has a much better arm than Chad.
  14. Betcha DJ makes it back to HC after 2-3 years of DC work.
  15. Warren Sapp belongs in a Comedy Roast like Lisa Lampanelli belongs on earth.
  16. Don't forget we all were certain he would get canned after last year's train wreck.....
  17. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true Not too bright.
  18. Oh....if only that was true.....
  19. DJ's combined record at Chicago: 7-9 DJ's combined record at Buffalo: 7-9 Can't get more consistent than that. This year it'll be different though......ahem.
  20. I hope somebody starts kicking some ass on this team. They're starting to resemble the "Frozen Head of Jauron".
  21. Sadly I fell for it. I completely forgot about the DJ factor.
  22. well....again.... hope for the best, prepare for the worst. We would all love to see DJ and the Bills succeed. History does not paint an optimistic picture regarding DJ's ability to do so.
  23. I would have liked to see Grossman as our B/U QB. JP is an unmitigated bust in every possible aspect.
  24. Well....I admire your optimism, but what in DJ's past 7 out of 8 losing seasons gives you hope that "this time it will be different"? Are you honestly certain that he's had nothing but bad luck and crappy players during those 7 seasons? Look at Miami, Baltimore and Atlanta's record last year with new head coaches. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
