  1. I'll take Wisenhunt over Dickie the J as well.
  2. He has been one of the few bright spots on third down for the Bills lately. You could at least count on Reed: 1. Getting to the 1st down marker 2. Getting open 3. Catching the ball 4. Not holding out, missing camp or being a giant PITA
  3. Another Lock type plot? I actually got to like Charlie by the time he got killed.
  4. I'll go with B: It will be the initial litmus test to see how the TO experiment works out. It will show whether the triumvirate of DJ, Fewell & Snert are committed to changing direction or repeating the sins of the past. It will show whether TE has gotten his nerve back and his legs under him. It will show whether FJ & DR can pull the load with ML out on suspension. It will show whether they have a replacement for Royal at TE or not. It's not as important that they win the game as it is playing a solid, competent and competitive one.
  5. I hope your first 11 posts weren't like this.
  6. 1. Hrmmph. 2. The Bills had a decent pass rush up until the 5-1 nosedive. Sparano had his team ready to play last season. ALL season. Whether getting picked apart is a surprise or not, and last year it wasn't, I will be happy if the Bills split with My Yami. But I think Sparano will beat Jauron again, both times as will Belichick. And if Pennington goes down, I think Henne will step in and that will be the end of Pennington.
  7. I thought the Kurt Russel version was actually pretty decent.
  8. 1. Lost ..... 6 years and counting, I believe. 2. Sparano doesn't have to beat Jauron with the WC. He didn't last year. He just flat out coached him both games. Noodle armed Pennington picked apart Fewell's D last year and as much as I hate to say this, Henne has all the makings of a very good QB. Twice the arm CP has.....6'3" & 230.
  9. It's a never ending battle between livable wages and unlivable prices. Come to Miami, coffee and toast are more than that now in certain areas. The wages aren't, though.
  10. I don't think that PF16YOK cares if you or I walk in at all.
  11. Two things I think I think: 1. Brady will be ready for game one. So will everyone else on that team. The Bills will be ready for game one. NE will be readier. Belichick will see to it. 2. Sparano will take his team and beat Jauron's team. Then, they could switch teams and Sparano will beat Jauron's team again.
  12. That's true. You shouldn't go into a BK with the expectation of even getting what you ordered. Whaddaya expect for $7 an hour?
  13. If the CC isn't working and you replaced the head and it still isn't working, check the hose. You may very well have a crack or split somewhere in the hose. Disconnect the CC hose completely, cap off one end of the hose and run water into it (from a garden hose) until it is filled up and check it for leaks.
  14. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4234188 My Yami is the team to beat in the AFC East, according to Joey Porter. I don't think that My Yami will pull another AFC East Championship squeaker like they did last year.
  15. Most of King's books-into-films haven't lived up to the book. Any number of producer/directors could improve greatly on the original film. I'd like to see Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) do it. I'd also like to see Swan Song by Robert R. McCammon made into a movie. Very similar to The Stand.
  16. My sincere condolences Annmarie. May she rest in peace and may you and your family find comfort and solace in the days ahead. God bless. Dr. FF
  17. The Stand.
  18. Would have liked to hear him say something a little more substantial about Edwards. But thanks for the "interview"!
  19. That's actually something worth consideration.
  20. The downside to the no-huddle is that there are times it leads to very quick 3-and-out series. When that happens, the defense can get gassed, especially against a ball control offense. I think it would be better to intelligently pick and choose when to run the no-huddle if they are serious about trying it this season. If a team is going to do something to death, they damn sure better have the guns to do it with. I'm not convinced the Bills have the players or the coaching to run the no-huddle on a consistent basis.
  21. The first game the Bills run the no huddle, film will be in every team's hands in less than 24 hours. The no huddle is hardly new stuff and every team would be ready for it the very next game if not by the 2nd half of the game they use it in. It's how well you execute it and when you pick and choose to run it. I like the fact that they're bringing JK in. That has got to have some good motivational effect.
  22. 7 out of 8 losing seasons, a combined record of 7-9 in Chicago and the exact same record in Buffalo = the last word in your post.
  23. A 3 year old boy discovers his testicles in the bathtub. "Mommy", he asks, "are these my brains"? "Not yet", replies the mother.
