  1. I really thought Hardy would make an impact. Not the way he did, though. I'm not ready to write him off yet, but he was completely unimpressive before his injury. Didn't even seem to have potential.
  2. If the Bills hit 9 losses at some point, Ralph will have all of the fans howling with pitchforks ready and torches lit. Not to mention TO having conniption fits by that time as well as sports writers eviscerating everybody from Ralph on down. That will either be the end of DJ right there (but I doubt it) or immediately after the last game of the season. I don't know that any marquis coach will want to take over before the season is over and he has free reign to clean house.
  3. Even when the Bills Defensive players get a ball thrown their way, they seem to get a major case of butterfingers. But then again, I'm going to be bitching until the season starts.
  4. I'm not sure there is anything I could care less about in the sports world. No one should pay attention to that jackass.
  5. .....and then steps on rake......
  6. Agreed with one addition: Leadership from the Head Coach. If you have any doubts, look at any game film with DJ as HC and then look at any film with Marv as HC.
  7. Only if the only other thing on TV is Dancing with the Stars or some schlocky Ghost Hunters episode.
  8. It's "Oy Vey". And if DJ wins COTY, I will mow his yard for a year, for free. Hrmmph.
  9. I think those same people should also participate in: The Feeding of the Bengal Tigers The Swimming of the Great White Sharks The Wrestling of Pythons The Slapping of Alligators Maybe clean up the gene pool a little.
  10. Pffffft....I've done that dozens of times. The worst those wussy fisheads do is make scowley faces, maybe spill a mojito on their Marino jersey and slur, "Billsssh Shhhuck duuuuuude".
  11. Yeah...count me in, too! Last season, I really was feeling good about the team until the My Yami game in Toronto. They were really playing well and with confidence. Even a couple of 4th quarter comebacks, if I remember correctly. It seemed like they just got deflated after that and pretty much lost their confidence. Here's hoping they come out of the gate like last season and smoke 'em all the way through.
  12. Yep. However they did leave out the inexcusable gaffes that lifetime 7-9 DJ launched.
  13. Right score, teams reversed. Until this team shows some heart and competent coaching, game planning and flexibility, I fail to see how they are going to beat NE in NE. I hope they do, but in the words of Yogi Berra, "I'll believe it when I believe it".
  14. Hard to argue with that. I think maybe the best thing TE could do in a critical situation, is NOT ask DJ for advice.
  15. Why don't you do what you you will ultimately end up doing anyway........watch 'em & see? Then you can either A) be happy they're better than you thought, or B) throw stuff at the TV.
  16. WTF???? He is a quarterback, not the Dalai Lama.
  17. The "be inspired by him" is interesting and you may have hit on something there. The players are supposed to like him and like playing for him. It may be that there is a subtle but substantial difference between "liking to play for him" and "being inspired by him"....... "him" being DJ. Have any of the players said exactly why they like playing for him? I remember having a boss or two that I "liked" working for too.....mostly because I did whatever the hell I wanted to and got away with just about everything.
  18. Well, she was polarizing. It remains to be seen how the new Palin emerges.
  19. It's King Crimson. I would have thought the bulging pants would have been a thing of the past....especially at Squire's age.
  20. Great story. I'd venture to guess that most NFL QB's wouldn't have done that. That being said, he just wasn't able to cut it in Buff'lo. I really thought Al "Bombs Away" Davis would pick him up. I do wish him the best.
  21. I'm not sure I would go that far, but she is......um......different. If she is really going to be making a serious run for the presidency in 2012, I would imagine that she is going to be going through some pretty intensive preparation. If that is the case, we may all be very surprised at the outcome. I don't think she's going to just fade from view.
  22. I hate his face, too. Hey, somebody had to say it.
  23. I think there would be very little "trading blows" between Israel and Iran. Israel is thought to have between 65-80 nuclear weapons along with the capability of hitting anywhere in Iran. Israel is looking for an excuse to flatten Iran's nuclear facilities and any direct attack by Iran on Israel would be smacking the hornet's nest.
