  1. I'm gonna wait just a leeeetle bit longer before I panic.
  2. man....does that look great (trailer). Not a real big fan of the Edge, but who knows.....I might be after seeing this. Page could play Old McDonald and make it into an anthem....
  3. I really hope we're still that optimistic at mid season.
  4. Big chain "service" stores have mass and momentum behind them and it's "their way or the highway" for the most part. They play the numbers and don't really care if you do business with them or not. Plus, they always seem to find a way to not honor prices, warranties, etc. I run a small business and will ALWAYS go the extra mile to try to make a client happy. I want their business and I want them to recommend me to other potential clients. My goal is to make it easy to do business with me. Not necessarily so with chain service stores. I get a lot of business from pissed off ADT clients. A LOT. That being said, I have found Pep Boys to be a little pricey, but they have done excellent work when I've had to use them.
  5. Maybe someone will kill somebody with a shark, next. "Man killed by shark on Florida Turnpike"
  6. Six games? Where is the revenue coming from? What are they paying these guys...minimum wage? Two years, tops.
  7. Fish for dinner, anyone? http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/bre...0,2705614.story
  8. Joe D echoes the sentiments of a lot of people in that Peters was overrated. The Bills may miss him some, but not to the extent that the OL will collapse without him.
  9. Couple of good points there....and a chuckle too. I used to see a guy on the way to work with a newspaper draped over his steering wheel, drinking coffee, smoking a cig AND shaving with an electric razor. I wonder why it is that actually talking to a person in the car seems to be less distracting than talking to someone on a cell.....even hands free?
  10. As far as confidence goes, I have more confidence issues with a certain head coach with the initials "DJ" than Lindell. I also have more confidence issues with TE staying healthy for an entire season as well as the revolving bunch of yearly turnstiles that serves as a so-called offensive line. I'll throw in a dose of lack of confidence in Fewell's ability to show any flexibility whatsoever when his defense is getting roasted.
  11. Cincy: Possible: Pro Bowl caliber QB in Palmer. Shanahan would like that. Lewis is on the hot hot hot seat. Dallas: Possible: Another good QB and if SOB (Son of Bum) can't get them into the playoffs, he's gonzo. San Diego: Possible: Another very good QB in Rivers: Norv's last year unless he can break his own perennial "Curse of Norv" jinx. Oakland: Nope....Larry the Cable Guy will win "Best Actor" before that happens. Jax: Nope, they like Del Rio and so would I for the Bills. Hmmmm..... Philly: Nope. Not unless Reid retires and may be McNab's last year so QB situation may be unsettled. Don't see Reid leaving. Buffalo: Nope. For all the reasons brought up in the other posts.
  12. I hope for the best regarding your Grandfather. My parents and grandparents have long since passed away. It's never an easy thing. I hope you have friends and family members close enough to help support each other. Reactions to meds can be pretty severe. I hope your Grandfather pulls through and you have him for many more years. All the best.
  13. As of this year, another big question mark as to the ownership, whether they will stay in Buffalo (or at least the area) and whether perennial 7-9 Dick Jauron is helping, hurting or just irrelevant. Whether Snert actually opens up the offense or simply continues to make statements to that effect. Whether Fewell shows any ability to adjust when his defense is getting roasted. Whether TE can play an entire season as well as he did the first 4 games last year. Whether the OL stands up or the Bills have assembled yet another bunch of check cashing turnstiles. Longing for the "Relentless" Bills of Kelly and Company. Appreciating and missing the leadership, coaching ability and motivation of Levy. Hoping somebody lights the goddam fuse under the team this year.
  14. Fitz: It's more than likely that TE will miss at least a couple of games this year because of injuries. We'll get a chance to see if Fitz is any upgrade to JP. Or not. Rhodes: If Lynch is suspended the first 3 games, Jackson probably won't be asked to carry the entire load that Marshawn did. We'll see if Rhodes has any gas left in the tank.
  15. This may be a move on the owner's part to put (more) fans in the seats. I'm curious to see if Buffet, Estefan & Anthony will be performing at any of the home games.
  16. Are you saying that if we fired nukes at our enemies it would kill them, but if we fired Perez Hilton at our enemies, they would kill us?
  17. Oughtta make for some interesting half time shows at Margaritaville-My Yami Sound Machine-Mr. J'Lo Stadium
  18. Don't need to: Evans: Double covered deep Reed: 6 yard Post Parrish: Not visible
  19. At least nukes are good for something.
  20. Marc Anthony is expected to become a part owner of the Dolphins. Sheesh.....WTF? http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true
  21. Hey lawdy momma, I hope you're right. But I don theen so.
  22. What about Snert's vow to "open up the offense"? He didn't say "open up the offense once we get a bunch of bona fide pro bowl receivers".
  23. This team is NOT going to beat Nawlins. Not unless there is 8 inches of snow on the field and a howling 40 mph wind. I do think they "can" beat Tampa, but TB has traditionally had Buffalo's lunch. Still 1-3 after 4.
  24. No...you're right....the pitchforks and torches will be out before then. However, I think Ralph will hold pat until the team hits 9 losses. He may make up his mind then, but not necessarily fire DJ until after the last game out of professional courtesy.
  25. And catches like Robert Royal.......urf.
