  1. You are hereby banished to the "Bad Cliche" board.
  2. I refuse to listen. I'll be hearing enough of that cacophonous swill enough as it is this season.
  3. Even if you didn't call the cops, the next person he steals from may very well do so. It's not a matter of if, but when. You're not going to change him....he's going to have to learn the hard way.
  4. Ahhhh....then.... It is what it is, or is not?
  5. please.....Please.....PLEASE......PLEASE DON'T GO!!!! oops.....never mind.....I had you confused with somebody else....zzzzZZZZzzzzzz
  6. Let's make it 4 quitters..... That's how many players have quit the Dolphins so far this season.
  7. Agreed. What else would "it" be?
  8. Didn't have a radio?
  9. If the Bills coaches and team can't handle it, shame on them. Period. This isn't a therapy session, it's football.
  10. Really? Gregg Williams is out?
  11. How did that work out for you?
  12. I said it has the "potential" to be potent. I think that TO will make Edwards a better QB and add some spark to the offense. If you are basing your opinions on this team based on what you saw last night, you don't understand the purpose of pre season. At least hold off for a couple of regular season games and then you will have something to base an opinion on.
  13. After watching him for 3 seasons, what did you honestly expect? Sheesh.
  14. ...um....you've been where exactly, since the 70's?
  15. You're just being snarky, right? The offense has the potential to be potent this year.
  16. Oh, I have a feeling that will be a lot of people who COULD quote you on this for the rest of your life, but won't. A lot of people would have dumped on college players like: Joe Montana (3rd round) Tom Brady (6th round) John Unitas (9th round) Mike Webster (5th round) John Stallworth (4th round) Roger Staubach (10th round) Bart Starr (17th round) I doubt that very many people took the time to go back and tell off the spoonhead who said, "Bart Starr is gonna be an NFL bust". They were too busy watching NFL history being made. Even if Tebow doesn't live up to the hype, and I think he will, he brings an attitude that a lot of teams in general and the Bills in particular, could sorely use. He's won at every level and the team that drafts him is going to get an exceptional person and athlete. So I promise not to say, "I told you so".
  17. Owens is going to make Edwards a better QB. As long as TO sticks to business and plays up to his ability, he will be the guy Edwards looks for and goes to this year. If they develop a chemistry and click, look the ef, out.
  18. I'm not sure "Bend but don't break" is Fewell's motto. He doesn't seem to make any noticeable adjustments. I will say that the defense, especially the pass defense, worries me. Yeah, I know they were #13 against the pass last year, but they tend to play off the receivers by 3-4 steps at least so when the ball is caught, the receiver usually gets another 5+ yards. I don't know whether that's Fewell's scheme by design or not. Watch other teams, like Tennessee last night, and their backs were hitting the Bills receivers in 1-2 steps. Quick slants and posts are pretty much a given against the Bills because the backs play off so much, and with very little QB pressure there's nothing to stop it. I would like to see the backs closing on the receivers in 1-2 steps and more QB pressure. I would also like a winning Powerball ticket and Penelope Cruz. Sign Maybin
  19. This being the 1st preseason game..... I liked what I saw of the 1st string offense. Owens is going to make Edwards a better QB. Considering this really is a new offensive line, I think they showed promise. Keep Omon. This offense has the potential to put up some points and win games. The defense is what has me a little concerned. One noticeable thing is that it seemed the defense was typically 3-4 steps away from getting to a receiver, whereas it seemed that Tennessee's defense was 1-2 steps away from a Bills receiver. I noticed that 3-4 step gap last season too. I'd like to see the defense be more in position to tackle receivers quicker. Run defense looked pretty good.
  20. The older I get, the more people like O'Reilly make sense to me. He's hammered both parties which gives him some credibility in my book.

  22. Amen to Stern & Limbaugh. O'Reilly actually brings up some salient points, but he tends to be an overbearing bully.
  23. Every AA person I ever spoke with, that had at least one year of sobriety and relapsed, said the same 5 words. I stopped going to meetings. Every single one....young, old, male, female....without exception. The success rate for AA is generally accepted to be about 5%. That's not very good, except for the 5% who have managed to stay sober. I suspect, that like most things in life, a person will get out of AA (or any other addiction related program) what they put into it.
