  1. I was actually happy when the game got delayed by lightning. What a clunker. Tampa's D outplayed My Yami's O in the first half. Didn't watch the 2nd half. TB's biggest problem is going to be QB. They may regret getting rid of Garcia.
  2. "He's invisible". Which could help us out if only TE could figure out where to throw to.
  3. Put a volt meter across the battery terminals.....should read around 12 volts DC. If not, battery is either bad or drained. Then.... Jump it and get it started. Put volt meter across battery terminals.....should read around 14 volts DC. If not, alternator is bad. If it reads 14 volts DC, the alternator is okay and (most likely) the battery is not charging up and is bad. Good luck. BTW....bring the battery into an auto parts store & most will check it for free. Plus it is a LOT less expensive to bring it in & replace it yourself.
  4. My biggest issue with the iphone is that it can't multi task. I have the (Sprint Version) of the HTC Touch Pro. It's Windows Mobile so you will have some Window-esque issues from time to time, but it multi tasks great, has a slide out keyboard, beautiful screen and the touch screen is really good. Battery life has improved greatly over the last version and for $99/month with Sprint, you get unlimited everything, including a great nav system that I couldn't live without on the road.

  6. Vince......that breeze you felt......it was irony.
  7. Holy crap. The voice of reason magically appears on TBD out of nowhere! I salute you!
  8. You are dead wrong about Tebow. Stay tuned.
  9. Get Tebow. Sell Dick Jauron's Grandmother's dentures, mortgage The Ralph, rob 10 banks....but GET TEBOW. The more he slides because of shortsighted nincompoops yapping about "pocket qb" and "throwing motion" and other drivel (the same nincompoops by the way, who turned their noses up at Joe Montana but went all looney tunes over Rick Mirer), the better it is for the Bills to do whatever is necessary to trade up and GET TEBOW. I will have a conniption fit, the likes of which has never been seen on this earthly veil, if the Bills do not do everything in their power to GET TEBOW.
  10. AVP broke the passing records at Pitt of some guy named......umm.......lessee......hmmmmmm.......oh yeah...... Marino.
  11. Jauron will take all the credit.
  12. The starting offense and defense has looked bad in preseason. Every sports writer has said as much. Perhaps the starters are being kept under wraps on purpose, but I doubt it. If we see the same performance in the first 4 games of the season, we'll know it wasn't "just preseason".
  13. Last season, Evans was doubled the entire year. Even though he had (barely) 1,000 yards, he only had 3 TD's. Roscoe is invisible and Reed is primarily the 3rd down receiver. TO will make TE a better TE to TO QB, but I'm not sold on TE being a better overall QB. Especially with Snert's predictable and plodding offense. We shall see.....
  14. I'm sure there are some out there who make you and me look like amateurs in the "Can Jauron" contest. Schonert talked a good story last season about "opening up the offense". Pfffft. Regardless of why he is there, he is there. The no huddle has looked anemic and I can only hope the Bills are purposely keeping it under speed until the season starts.
  15. Sigh......... Look.... No one has been a more vocal opponent of Jauron than I have. I wanted him out 10 minutes after the final game of last season and I continue to lobby for his replacement. However.... Unless you have some inside information from within the Bills organization, as to the inner workings of the staff and management, you are making assumptions as to who picked the coordinators, how the coordinators operate and who can or can't fire them. As to "what exactly" Jauron gets paid for, you'll have to ask Mr. Wilson. I think people have DJ targeted so large in their crosshairs, they tend to overlook some of the other issues regarding the coaching. Regardless of who picked Snert & Fewell and why they are still employed at this point, in my opinion they appear more and more to be the "hands-on/game day" problem. The buck stops at Jauron's desk, of course. But I believe he is working with 2 sub-par coordinators. If you know the real reason why Schonert and Fewell are still on the team, by all means, let us know.
  16. This is getting ridiculous. Who's next? Joan Rivers? Larry the Cable Guy? http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-wil...0,7141364.story
  17. The disturbing thing is how the Bills starters have been dominated by the opponents starters in preseason, both offense and defense.
  18. Betcha Sparano's team sweeps the Bills this season. Not Rex's boys, though.
  19. In an unrelated story, Jauron has postulated that it tends to get dark at night and light during the day.
  20. It's possible that Owens and Maybin could become the sparks the offense and defense so desperately need. Since neither Snert nor Fewell have shown much ability to make effective adjustments when things aren't working, those two guys may be the pegs we have to hang our hats on this season.
  21. I have difficulty believing that Jauron micro manages the game at the individual play level. Regardless of how Schonert and Fewell were originally chosen for their respective jobs as well as why they still have them, the offense and especially the defense is okay when matched up well with opponents. But when either the offense or defense is having trouble, neither coordinator has shown much propensity for flexibility, making effective adjustments or innovation. I would think that Jauron leaves the majority of the individual play calling and schemes to the coordinators.
  22. I think it's the other way around; Paris Hilton would be annoying the yeast infection.
  23. The truth of the matter is that no one is sure whether DJ wanted to keep or replace Snert &/or Fewell, or whether RW had a say in the matter or the GM or...or....or. The more I watch and the more I see of this team, the more I'm starting to feel that the fundamental problems are with Schonert & Fewell, specifically at the schemes & play-calling levels. Not absolving DJ here, just raising the possibility that regardless of why Schonert and Fewell are still on the team, more blame may belong on their shoulders and a bit less on Jauron's. Am I reaching? Yeah, maybe.
  24. Hell, I jumped to an asinine conclusion at week 6 of last year.
