  1. I'm not blaming the OL. Just stating a fact. When the OL can't do its job, the offense can't score, can't even stay on the field and give the D a rest. Things implode from there. I'm going to give this OL 3-4 games before I hit the "REJECT" button.
  2. Can any of 'em pick up the blitz?
  3. "It all starts, or stops, with the offensive line". (for the eleventeenth goojillion time)
  4. There are going to be some important issues to work out/around. It'll start with small stations for charging cell phones and so forth. If that proves to be viable (and profitable), they'll work forward from there.
  5. At least those guys were human beings. Cox was a knuckle dragging scumbag with the IQ of vomit and a turd in the toilet bowl of humanity.
  6. You said it! I was at the game in 89 (I think) when Kelly lumbered across the goal line to beat My Yami. God DAMN.....that STILL sends shivers down my spine!!!
  7. Salary cap estimates for 2009: Buffalo: $31m NE: $25m Does anyone think that NE is only $6m better than Buffalo?
  8. His coaching selections tend to support your statement.
  9. 1. TO meltdown 2. Trent gets hurt 3. Nothing else happens before the end of the season 1 and 2 are interchangeable. Number 3 is a given.
  10. Two reasons at this point: 1. Born and raised in Buffalo. Went to games at the Rockpile and Rich Stadium. My Dad's team and thus my team. Moved to southeast Florida in the 60's. 2. General spite for the Dolphins. I never could see the reasoning behind moving and blindly switching your allegiance to another team just because you moved. I left home at 18, but I didn't get new parents. Even if the Bills fold and move to LA, I will NEVER be a Dolphins fan. Ever.
  11. The Three Stooges Film Fest starring......DJ, Snert & Fewell.
  12. He has a better excuse than that, Snert is his so-called Offensive Coordinator. A bowl of vanilla pudding is harder to defend against than Snert's offense.
  13. Then every sports writer who has pointed out the fact that Buffalo's starters have failed to score ONE SINGLE TOUCHDOWN in 4 preseason games is a very troubling sign, is insane too. Losing in preseason is one thing. Your starting offense looking downright putrid 4 games in a row, is quite another. What, someone is going to flip a switch and the offense is suddenly going to go into another dimension? Unless TO is going to somehow elevate the offense singlehandedly, this team will be lucky to go 5-11.
  14. No...it would be our luck that DJ goes 8-8, RW sees it as a major improvement and brings the sordid bunch back with big fat raises and new long term contracts.
  15. Well if you place that bet, let's hope the trend continues.
  16. RW is not going to make any coaching changes until after the season is over. I don't like it either, but we should get used to that fact.
  17. I couldn't watch the game in real time because JustinTV lags so badly, but it appeared to me that at least 50% of the time, Buffalo's DBs were 3-4 steps away from the receiver when they caught the ball. I saw that most of last year, too. That is going to give any QB time to pick his shots. That being said, Snert's game plan is predictable, slow moving and unimaginative. Trehesitant looks awful. Without TO as a safety valve, he seems afraid to throw the ball any farther than 10 yards. He's starting to look like his confidence is gone. The combination of Snert & Trehesitant is lethal.
  18. Dick Jauron will be manager of Applebee's in Buzzard's Butt, Wyoming this time next year.
  19. This whole so-called coaching staff will stay this season, no matter what. RW is NOT going to make any changes before the end of the season. We might as well get used to it and spend time guessing who the new HC will be instead of ripping the coaching staff a new one every game. Not that I'm going to stop ripping them new ones......
