Damar Hamlin - Now (1/11/2023) discharged from Buf Gen & “recovering at home”

No, a dissection can be via injury. Even innocuous ones. -

My wife had a VAD. They are variable. If it was a complete tear of one of the arteries, the other would have still fed the cerebellum. Hers was a partial tear and clot, and she likely ran a triathlon that way. She collapsed after, but got up. Had a stroke in the hospital. this seems different than that, but what do I know. Scary, terrible, and I shouldn’t be speculating. -

not accurate. My wife had a vertebral artery dissection. Not a spinal cord injury, but I could see this being that. -

No. Just stop. No.

Jerry Sullivan crosses the line. Comments against women.
todd replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I sure do hate to see someone lose their livelihood. And I feel bad that I was a part of it by sending a letter to the Niagara gazette expressing my concern. I would much rather have him go to sensitivity training or a course on women’s studies so he could improve himself. Not the ideal outcome imho. On the other hand, he’s been a jacka$$ for years. I thought he’d turned a corner, but he’s always asked questions just to try to get a reaction from players & coaches, not for any journalistic merit. I’ve done my best to ignore him, but in such a small market it is hard to actively avoid his schtick. I won’t miss it. hopefully he takes the time to do some genuine introspection and comes back a better man. -

Um, your comments in this thread demonstrate the opposite. -

So many people don't understand what the first amendment is. You can usually tell an idiot by when/how they bring up the first amendment. First amendment guarantees you can say (mostly) whatever you want. It doesn't guarantee that you are immune from the consequences resulting from what you said. Nor does it guarantee you the right to a public platform. Jerry can spout his idiot chauvinism on a street corner somewhere. Nothing is stopping him. However, if you say something stupid like Jerry did that exposes your stupidity, you are responsible for the reaction. -
I think his COVID posturing was unnecessary and would have best been handled within the team. There’s no reason to attack me here. Plus, it takes a hell of a lot more than Beasley or you to hurt my feelings.

He’s a clown, but was always a good bill and a great player when healthy. If he hasn’t lost too much, I’d love him back. a clown, but OUR clown.

Coaching Success as Measured by Average Depth of Playoff Run
todd replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
For you as long as those facts support your anti-McDermott crusade, I guess so. Otherwise, seems like no. -
I’m kind of Over the Hines Experiment

I think it is important to realize that maybe Beane is building a team not for the games being played now, but playoffs this year and next year. -
So I guess following that logic, the awesome games passing in 2020, 2021, and this year we’re to McDermott’s credit. Furthermore, if his first years were that horrible, the trajectory he’s on is one of the best in the nfl. Great coaching. Irrefutable.
-
So you are saying it is McDermott’s fault?
-
It’s hard to figure who you are blaming here. McDermott for not coaching a 300 yard game, Beane for not providing the talent to do it, the QB for not being good enough to do it, or the WRs not being good enough to catch with enough yards?

The defense failed with Hughes, and was clearly better with Miller. Hughes should not be part of the conversation. Different level of player, and there should be no disagreement about that. To insinuate that we should have kept Hughes instead of signing Miller is …. Not bright.
-
Oh please. As if that should even be part of the conversation.

My prediction? New England. Bellyache liked him coming out of college. He'll be cheap (relatively) and it makes sense given Mac is not good.

I think we need to remember that many players have called the offense complex. It probably impacts RBs quite a bit when it comes to protection, routes and blocking schemes that likely change in the fly. Let’s not rush to judgement. -
Would Cole Beasley come back to Buffalo?
todd replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would love for the 2020 beasley to come back. That guy doesn't exist any more. He's oft injured and slower than he used to be. -
You & me both, brother. I got a cancer called chordoma so rare only 300 people get it in the US a year. Not genetic. Just unlucky. I have wicked, nasty scars on my ass you wouldn't believe. Unlucky. My ass modeling career is over. I got side effects from radiation that only 4% of people who get my kind of radiation get. Unlucky. I never win anything in games of chance or luck. I run a fantasy football league (which as we all know is more luck than skill) and it took me 19 years to win it. Unlucky. I bring bad weather on most trips I take. I've been to the Grand Canyon but have never seen it. Freak snow storm - whiteout - couldn't see the canyon despite standing on the edge of it. Went to Cabo San Lucas and rode ATVs. It rained. I asked the guide how often it rains. He said 3 or 4 times a year. Golf trips - RAIN. Golf trip in Orlando, Fla - Frost delays and cold. Yeah, I'm the king of bad luck. Bad luck is a thing.
-
Exactly. The Bills really miss the 2019 and 2020 Beasley. That person doesn’t exist any more. Crowder wouldn’t have been at his level, but since he’s hurt there’s nobody to step in. Excited to see what Hines will provide when he’s up to speed.
