  1. It is more frustrating to try reasoning with foolish people than simply ignoring them.
  2. Wow. Someone from Philly mocking buffalo? Wow. Pot, this is Mr. Kettle.
  3. I'd love to take a draft pick from the cheatriots for hogan. they already don't have a first.
  4. WGR is the station that kept blowhard "Coach" Dickerson around for years, and he was the worst. You hate Sullivan like I do? Dickerson was worse.
  5. Gotta have something to complain about, right?
  6. Yeah, I don't get it. He's been proven to be unreliable and not worth the money or roster spot.
  7. I expect it could be lower than that. Another 5 years, bonus amortized, and a low first year salary could definitely help. Gilmore's salary is 11 mil or so this year. If you give him a new contract, you can give him a bonus which will be amortized over the life of the contract, reducing the yearly hit. And if it is combined with a decent salary the first few years, he could definitely be in the $7 to $9 mil range per year.
  8. I'm upset that the talent he had is no longer with the Bills, but watching a guy stand around and make zero effort on plays was disgusting. Not sure how anyone who is pissed that he's been released thinks that this kind of effort is worth even 7 mil a year, let alone 20.
  9. He could be making double what he pulls in now. As the GOAT (it sickens me to say it, but it is true), he should be paid as such. There's got to be some type of back room deal on this. A company Brady owns must be contracting with the chatriots somehow, and he's getting cash like that.
  10. Vet minimum, with bonuses that are unlikely so the don't count on the cap. If that's the contract, I'm in. Otherwise, no way.
  11. This lead to the media is just a bargaining tactic by the Bills. The don't want to tag him, but they will if they need to.
  12. Do you know what is awesome? Your contradictions from post to post, or within the same post. PFF is fallible, too, homey, same as scouts. Guards can't be evaluated without taking a look at the situation and the players next to them, and pff is notorious for relying on numbers and nothing else, which anyone who can think critically knows limits the value of the evaluation . I'm sure they would have loved to have him sit and learn, but he was the best option. Giving up on a rookie who played injured all year is idiotic. Period. But it is much lazier from a intellectual standpoint to think something should be blown up every year if it doesn't go well.
  13. This is getting sad. The guy needs help before he gets more self-destructive. I don't like to see anyone spiraling downwards the way this guy is. He's probably in quite a bit of emotional/psychological pain. Still don't want him as a Buffalo Bill, tho. Not sure there's anyone left who would.
  14. Sully embarrasses himself every time he sits down at a keyboard.
  15. Fact: There isn't a franchise QB in every draft. Most everything I've read says that all QBs in the draft this year would benefit from sitting a few years. If that is the case, do you want to do that with a 1st round pick, or do you want to do that with a 3rd round pick?
  16. Yep. I don't think anyone disagrees that the defense was bad last year, especially given the quality of players. Where I think people disagree is the solution. My personal opinion is that often a solution is more nuanced than the neanderthal "I hate it! Blow it up!" solution that so many posters here think is the only way. Preaching patience doesn't sell newspapers and it doesn't get page views. But it is often simpler jump to the "BLOW IT UP!" conclusion than an analysis of a better one.
  17. If anyone still thinks spending a roster spot on this guy is worthwhile after this latest incident, I'd love to hear why. Mea-culpas are welcome as well. Maybe something like this: https://youtu.be/WkqgDoo_eZE
  18. It can work well because it worked well in essentially the same defense with Pettine the year before. You want evidence? There it is. I know. But EJ is still better than Johnny $hitball and Tim Tebow, that's for sure. And a better teammate than Manziel.
  19. Hell yeah! We should totally give up on a guy after his first year as a starter in the NFL. I'm sick of the losing! Truthfully, we should get someone like Tebow to come play for us. Or better yet, Johnny Football. They have great names, and I've heard of them more than once.
  20. One thing I noticed in most of the clips in that article is that Mario Williams looked like he was giving minimal effort.
  21. My brother in law manages all waffle houses in the region. I can vouch that he sees lots of panthers in some of his stores.
  22. Disagree. He's a disruption. He's irresponsible. He can't be depended on. He's polarizing. Half his team hates him. Yesh, there's lots of harm in adding him to the team. Not sure how anyone can be a fan of such a douche.
  23. Absolutely not. That would just be stupid. Manziel is worthless, and doesn't deserve a second chance with buffalo. He's done nothing to show that he's a good QB, or that he's a quality human being. Screw him. I'd rather have Tebow, and since Tebow is an awful quarterback with zero NFL skills, that says alot.
  24. I'm thinking they would both be equally horrible. Tebow would just be more high-profile horrible. EJ is low-key horrible.
