  1. Watched on AppleTV using the Yahoo app. It was great. Picture was great, etc. Paused it when I needed to get more coffee, and picked it up just fine. Of course, I'm lucky here in Rochester to have Greenlight and not that POS company Time Warner, so my internet connection is 500mbps and never a buffering problem. I have my appleTV wired with cat5 to my router. I expect anyone who had any buffering was a victim of either the slowness of their own home wireless network, or the slow speed of their internet service.
  2. A fumble for TD which is EJ's fault. A pick 6. Another interception that led immediately to a touchdown. There's no defense of EJ. He stinks and should have been cut after the game. He lost the game for the team and fans.
  3. I can definitely see the benefits of going Gay. I guess going deep is better than barely reaching the end zone.
  4. welcome to my ignore list.
  5. Well, he definitely would have rushed the passer better.
  6. Huh? And williams, who was rolled up on. Nothing to do with being overpowered. And the concussions have nothing to do with being overpowered. So yeah.
  7. So quantitative data is cool, but what about qualitative? And why did you leave out rushing stats?
  8. My prayers to him. My wife had one (at age 38) and made a full recovery, so there's lots of hope for him.
  9. Jets haven't played a team with a winning record. The best they played was Indy, who is .500.
  10. Context. Controversy sells newspapers. I'd love to hear the entire interview.
  11. Gee, that's horrible. Really, I mean that.
  12. I agree. Also - all these guys on offense and defense haven't been in the scheme very long. Defense has a leg up because of Pettine, but remember that offense is all new to them. The only guy I'm starting to wonder about is Whaley. He's brought in some great talent. He didn't really address the offensive line, and it shows, but I'm sot sure what else he could have done given the players available. The cutting Jackson has turned out to be a big mistake, especially since Boobie is injured as well, has been all year, and obviously isn't trusted by the coaching staff to be a primary back. They kept Boobie over Fred? Trading Cassel could be a mistake, too, but I'm not ready to call it that yet.
  13. I'm not impressed with roman at all. He didn't do much to get the ball in the hands of his remaining uninjured playmakers, Harvin and Clay. Seriously concerned about how inept his moronic playcalling was.
  14. He deserves it. Maybe if the refs started getting fined for their **** calls (and non-calls) things would get better.
  15. I wear my Freddy jersey every weekend for the game. It is the first and only jersey I have ever owned, and I've been a Bills fan since I was little, and actually saw OJ simpson play (although I was too young to remember).
  16. Really? Because he's hurt? I guess that means that keeping Kiko would have been an awful decision, too.
  17. That's where I watched the game against the Vikings there last year. It was pretty good, people were nice. Edit: I was talking about the Ugly Dog, btw.
  18. Exactly like that. And the result ... some team members could probably use the soap-in-sock treatment for sure! Great movie, BTW.
  19. I wasn't referring to your comments, K-9. I find your opinions to be well thought out and criticism well thought out and measured.
  20. Some people just like to B word. Needing to call yourself a "realist" is generally an indicator that you just like to complain too much. It's a friggin press conference! Did you ever see one of Bill Belichek's conferences after a game? How about Bill Parcells'? Friggin' horrible. I wouldn't say I hate a coach because he gives crappy press conferences after a game, or use a press conference as an indicator of "mental agility" and is therefore unfit to coach. That's just nonsense. Bullroar, I tell you, bullroar!
  21. The entire team does the pushups while the perpetrator watches. The pushup part isn't the key. The pressure from other teammates is, because they are working because of your mistake.
  22. Normally I'd agree, however a punch was thrown. That's not normal. Regular shoving does happen on every play, but it isn't regular that only one team gets called for it.
  23. Repeat after me: "4th game starting. 4th game starting. 4th game starting. 4th game starting." Please, let's be rational. He's also made some great throws, and had very good games. I know we are fans and can only think about the last game, but let's get real.
  24. the pick play is legal, that's why it isn't called. When it turns into holding it isn't legal. Just found that out this year.
  25. What is the London version of a Garbage Plate?
