Brady Extension, Could play 20 years with pats
todd replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He could be making double what he pulls in now. As the GOAT (it sickens me to say it, but it is true), he should be paid as such. There's got to be some type of back room deal on this. A company Brady owns must be contracting with the chatriots somehow, and he's getting cash like that. -

Jets cut Antonio Cromarte--expected to meet with Bills
todd replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Vet minimum, with bonuses that are unlikely so the don't count on the cap. If that's the contract, I'm in. Otherwise, no way. -

				Should the Bills tag Glenn?
todd replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This lead to the media is just a bargaining tactic by the Bills. The don't want to tag him, but they will if they need to. -
Do you know what is awesome? Your contradictions from post to post, or within the same post. PFF is fallible, too, homey, same as scouts. Guards can't be evaluated without taking a look at the situation and the players next to them, and pff is notorious for relying on numbers and nothing else, which anyone who can think critically knows limits the value of the evaluation . I'm sure they would have loved to have him sit and learn, but he was the best option. Giving up on a rookie who played injured all year is idiotic. Period. But it is much lazier from a intellectual standpoint to think something should be blown up every year if it doesn't go well.

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
todd replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is getting sad. The guy needs help before he gets more self-destructive. I don't like to see anyone spiraling downwards the way this guy is. He's probably in quite a bit of emotional/psychological pain. Still don't want him as a Buffalo Bill, tho. Not sure there's anyone left who would. -

Sully embarrasses himself every time he sits down at a keyboard. -

Who really Billieves in Tyrod Taylor? Apparently BN does...
todd replied to Marty McFly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fact: There isn't a franchise QB in every draft. Most everything I've read says that all QBs in the draft this year would benefit from sitting a few years. If that is the case, do you want to do that with a 1st round pick, or do you want to do that with a 3rd round pick? -

Yet another fine effort by Ty Dunne...re: the D
todd replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. I don't think anyone disagrees that the defense was bad last year, especially given the quality of players. Where I think people disagree is the solution. My personal opinion is that often a solution is more nuanced than the neanderthal "I hate it! Blow it up!" solution that so many posters here think is the only way. Preaching patience doesn't sell newspapers and it doesn't get page views. But it is often simpler jump to the "BLOW IT UP!" conclusion than an analysis of a better one. -

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
todd replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If anyone still thinks spending a roster spot on this guy is worthwhile after this latest incident, I'd love to hear why. Mea-culpas are welcome as well. Maybe something like this: https://youtu.be/WkqgDoo_eZE -

Whaley: Does not see need for overhaul on D
todd replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It can work well because it worked well in essentially the same defense with Pettine the year before. You want evidence? There it is. I know. But EJ is still better than Johnny $hitball and Tim Tebow, that's for sure. And a better teammate than Manziel. -
Hell yeah! We should totally give up on a guy after his first year as a starter in the NFL. I'm sick of the losing! Truthfully, we should get someone like Tebow to come play for us. Or better yet, Johnny Football. They have great names, and I've heard of them more than once.

One thing I noticed in most of the clips in that article is that Mario Williams looked like he was giving minimal effort.

My brother in law manages all waffle houses in the region. I can vouch that he sees lots of panthers in some of his stores. -

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
todd replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Disagree. He's a disruption. He's irresponsible. He can't be depended on. He's polarizing. Half his team hates him. Yesh, there's lots of harm in adding him to the team. Not sure how anyone can be a fan of such a douche. -

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
todd replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely not. That would just be stupid. Manziel is worthless, and doesn't deserve a second chance with buffalo. He's done nothing to show that he's a good QB, or that he's a quality human being. Screw him. I'd rather have Tebow, and since Tebow is an awful quarterback with zero NFL skills, that says alot. -

Would Tebow be a better back up QB than EJ?
todd replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm thinking they would both be equally horrible. Tebow would just be more high-profile horrible. EJ is low-key horrible. -
Wow, when he said big changes I thought he meant positive ones. I can't see how this is good.

1/7/13 Chiefs went Reid 1/6/13 Whaley went Marrone
todd replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reid didn't want to come to buffalo. Didn't even interview. So yeah, great thoughts and everything but let's stay in the realistic "I hate the buffalo bills management" universe, not the fantasy one. They did interview Ken Whisenhunt. How about you B word about not hiring him, instead? -

Still laughing at this one! Nice! -

Pegula gives Whaley,Ryan 1 year to fix Bills? (BN retracts!)
todd replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Garbage report. There's no way a good manager or successful businessman would give that kind of ultimatum in those words. It is something a fan would imagine would happen, but isn't realistic in well-run organization. People who zero management experience, or have no understanding of leadership or motivational theory think this might be a great way to handle things (ie. some silly fans on a message board) but it just isn't reality, nor is it effective. It is proven, actually, that negative leadership always fails long term. Period. One does NOT manage by threats and fear. Only idiots do. I don't think the Pegulas are idiots. Therefore, they wouldn't manage with threats and fear. Long-term successful organizations don't threaten their employees to get then to perform. The knowledge that you won't have a job if you aren't successful is inherent, and doesn't need to be displayed like a baboon's distended red anus. And at the same time, Whaley gets an extension? While being threatened? It doesn't add up. -
Who is this Jerry Sullivan you speak of?

What the hell kind of organizational structure is that idiot building there? That's just ripe for failure. -

How many people will be pulling for Fitz and Chan?

There you go, non-fans. NEVER root against your team. I'm glad your rooting interests failed. Head on over the Jets board and weep with them. -

Are you still bitter over fredex after seeing carlos
todd replied to seadog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, but I'm bitter over fredex after watching boobie. They didn't trust him enough to make him the 3rd RB. Fred would have been a better use of a roster spot, and provided more leadership. Screw whaley.
