  1. It's pretty sad how many reactionary, ill-informed, short-sighted bills fans there are.
  2. He’s been nearly invisible. He rarely gets doubled and still can’t penetrate or get off blocks. Very disappointing.
  3. Thanks for supporting my point. He needed to grow, and did. It took 20 years. So apply your same logic to McDermott. The dude changed the crap culture of the team that existed for a quarter century. One bad game and all the people come out saying he should be fired. Look at the title of the thread. "After we lose AGAIN in the playoffs." THE DAMN PLAYOFFS HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED! What the hell are people thinking? IT'S ONE GAME!!!!
  4. Not sure what you are saying here. Are you being literal thinking I want to wait 20 years for a SB? Really? That's not accurate. All I'm saying is that people develop, get better, and learn. McD has done that. Yesterday sucked, but the reactionary "fire him" crap is silly. And the "hire belecheat" crap is just ... not even worth talking about. But hey, if you're a hot take/no thought or perspective kinda guy, go for it.
  5. Andy Reid was a head coach for 20 years before winning a Super Bowl. Let’s have a little perspective here. the “fire him” takes are ridiculous.
  6. I chalk it up to being rusty. He hasn’t played at real game speed in over a year. I think they are probably playing him now to be ready for the playoffs. that said, I didn’t watch him specifically the whole game but he does seem a touch late on his read and recognition, but there were a few time I thought I saw the old Milano there. You don’t give up quickly on a talent like that. The film doesn’t lie, and I hope they get that corrected soon. the entire defense at every level was sub-par yesterday. Hard to single out one player when everyone was bad. Especially the d-line. It was bad.
  7. That's great! Big fan of a good marriage. Marrying my wife is by far the best thing I ever did.
  8. if it caused violence and psychosis, we’d see many more cases of it. There just isn’t the scientific or social evidence to support that. the only thing I’d worry about is hyperemesis syndrome.
  9. Speaking of nonsense ... great take. There's a reason nobody has hired Rex. McDermott took the Bills to the playoffs with the same QB Sexy Rexy was terrible with. The hate for McDermott is really silly.
  10. Drafting Mac Jones was certainly not. 🙂
  11. The NFL has long been in the dark ages when it comes to certain things. Marijuana is one. Officiating is another. One thing they should do is make players with a medical marijuana card exempt from the marijuana prohibition. These guys have chronic pain during the season and well into the offseason with the punishment they take. Tylenol is more dangerous to you than cannabis. NSAIDs have their own issues, and are also dangerous if taken regularly. Opiates are an excellent pain reliever but are horrible in every other way. Cannabis is excellent for pain control, especially the medically prescribed stuff that has higher CBD and CBG. Let the players relieve their pain and actually sleep. It certainly isn't without its dangers, but it is time for the NFL to come out of the dark ages. Yep, and the federal government NEVER makes mistakes.
  12. Not going to have the debate but then say he's a top three coach. That's funny. Well, based on his SB record and his time as a coordinator I would have a hard time arguing against that, but his crap record without Brady is striking. I mean, it sucks. However, you need to wonder if his poor work as his own GM made him look worse after brady left NE. Whatever reason for it, his record without brady is bad.
  13. his record as a head coach from the pre and post Brady era including the browns was 71-94. That’s not good.
  14. No reason to be like that. Welcome to the block list.
  15. You might want to avoid those. They can have permanent neurological impacts, and declaring yourself “not s (sic) wus (sic)” won’t stop them. and helmet to helmet hits have been proven to cause concussions. I know facts are hard.
  16. Yeah, I’m not sure you’ve had a bad concussion before.
  17. Yeah, he popped him in the head, and clearly led with his helmet. Can't do that. You can call that a "football play" if you want, but the rules are pretty clear and he led with his head and hit josh in the head. Facts are facts.
  18. strange that people don’t remember that bb sucked as a coach before and after Brady was involved.
  19. My prediction is you won’t get a straight answer. Usually it is something like “an offensive minded coach” or some garbage non-answer like that.
  20. I can't believe people here are making excuses for this behavior. It sucks, and one of the reasons I don't attend too many games in-person. Lots of bad experiences from both Bills and non-Bills fans over the years. I probably attend only one game per year. There's no reason to be so wasted you ruin everyone else's good time. Bills fans are better than this, and if you aren't better than this then you can screw off. Seriously, go to hell. Behave honorably, even when drunk. And being a survivor myself, it makes me mad when something like this happens to someone who has fought a battle nobody can really understand until you have to do it yourself. Especially someone so young. You never know what the person next to you is going through / has gone through. So now there will be responses to this accusing this post being a "holier than thou" post. Go ahead. I have no problem adding to my "I don't want to see idiots on TBD" list so I don't see your crap.
  21. Nope, not changed at all. Always appreciated his leadership and the culture he built. If anything I appreciate it more. I've never understood the outright hate and "fire him" takes some people have. Questions I understand, but the animosity blows my mind.
  22. Man, you are intent on digging this hole for yourself! 😝 Determination is a good trait and you’ve got that!
  23. Poyer's feed were off the ground when he hit him. He launched with his feet off the ground. I bet if he hadn't done that and made similar contact, it wouldn't have been a penalty. Poyer's a pro - he should know that and recognize he messed up.
  24. I getit, and I understand your point and can't really disagree. But on the other hand, the NFL has the money and the technology exists to make officiating PERFECT. Why in the world would we not want perfect officiating?
  25. So they didn’t elevate Virgil, they signed him to the active roster. Interesting.
