25 mil guaranteed for a very good (and sometimes great) starting LB is a fantastic thing. So many people not liking this is confounding. Who else of the same caliber could you get at that price for 4 years? hint: nobody.

For a 4th-round CB I'd be disappointed but could understand being a 4th rounder. As a first-rounder, he's horrendous. One of Beane's few mistakes for sure.

The dude is his best friend and it was pretty gruesome, apparently. Stroud pretty much realized Dell's career might be over, and he's not wrong. Everybody processes stuff differently, and who are we to judge how someone deals with an injury to that to a close friend. This "macho" crap is absolutely stupid. Let people process how they process. For those not familiar, we will see lots of posts hating on McDermott. Most people realize he's a very good coach, but some think every loss is his fault and every win is despite him. It's kinda funny.
