Associated Press Caught Lying
Rich in Ohio replied to SilverNRed's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Umm, and you are surprised by this? Come on, if they could have snuck it by they would have. The problem is there are simple too many outlets today, and the huddled masses do not have to rely on what abc, cbs, nbc, or the ap says as the only source. They can and will be challenged and when they lie...they will be exposed. -
time magazine is an important poll
Rich in Ohio replied to greengrocer11's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It just great to see a lefty bash a leftist rag publication when they don't flip the story to suit them. He he he he he you make me laugh. The Time Mag poll has been around forever, and even some dems were saying after the convention thursday night that they expected an 8 - 12 point bonce. A couple of them even said "watch for the Time poll, it will be the real test". I am not knocking zogby, he does a good job as well. In fact I am not even a big fan of polls...but man it sure is fun to watch you lefties eat your own if they do not go your way. -
The death toll is now well over 200. mostly children. To all on this board who say this was not done by islamic extremists, get your heads out of your ass. these are OBL's in the making. Strapping explosives to their bodies and taking children hostage does nothing for their cause. And when they do so in the name of the almighty Allah it disgraces everyone in that religion. I have been saying for years now…until the normal people of that faith raise up and condemn these bastards…nothing will change. In fact it will surely get worse.

Time Mag Poll I expected maybe a 4 to 6 point bounce but this comes as a surprise. If Time is reporting a double digit lead then then in truth it is more then likely a 12 - 14 point lead. Oh well, at least GWB bounced to the positive and not to the negitive like kerry. Hint to the kerry camp: If you want everyone to stop talking about vietnam, then shut the hell up about it yourself. Stop leading off each and every press conference with that topic, and maybe...just maybe it may go away. Does anyone else agree that his staff needs to be overhauled?

Well as expected the economy continues to create jobs. In August 150,000 jobs were added and as an extra little bonus, the lower then expected July numbers were revised up by some 60,000. That means that in the past two months the economy has created well over 200K new jobs. All this while the unemployment rate dropped once again, this time to a 3 year low of 5.4%. Now I know that all the ney sayers out there will say that "these jobs are not good jobs", or "this is no indication that things are really better" and other silly comments like that. But don't be fooled. There are more people working right now then at any time in our countries history. I for one can tell you that in my field (manufacturing sector) capital equipment sales have not been this good in nearly 6 years. I have sold more of the automation machines that I sell in the past 8 months then in the previous 18 months. My customers are booming, and hiring as well. Mind you this is in the aluminum die casting business folks...that is about as hard core manufacturing as it gets. Anyway, my main point here is, I am amazed at how kerry and friends can turn good news like this into such doom and gloom. But I guess what really surprises me, is that some people out there actually believe what kerry and his sleezy lawyer friend are pushin.

Bush wins by a LANDSLIDE! mark it down
Rich in Ohio replied to Pete's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Who the hell advised kerry to give that speech last night? First of all, after all his talk about wanting vietnam to no longer be an issue, he freakin led with that topic. Then he said that cheney called him "unfit for the presidency" Oh really, I watched the entire speech from cheney and I saw no such thing. Perhaps he was just sipping too much french wine last night before his stomp. By the way, the place where he made that speech, Springfield Ohio, let me tell you a little something about that town since it is only about 1 hour from where I live. 1) The town has about 25,000 people. 2) 80% of the town is literally a slum. Simply a dirty place to live. 3) If you are interested in picking up th highest quality drugs in Ohio, your first stop would be Springfield. It is a drug infested, crime riddled city. Interesting that he would choose this location for his midnight madness tour. Like I said...who the hell is advising this knucklehead???? -
Kerry's response to Republican Convention
Rich in Ohio replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yea and as I remember it, GWB crushed algore in the debates and never looked back. When I say crushed I mean that he won......and based on what the elite left media was expecting GWB to do, just winning has to be cnsidered an ass whippin. Even after the first debate when the elite media said, oh well GWB just got lucky and had a good nite. algore was just not himself. Yea, and then when GWB won the 2nd debate, the media was just beside itself. I see the same thing happening this time. The leftist elite media still do not think that GWB can even stand beside thier beloved war hero. Again they will be sadly mistaken. Underestimating GWB has been the lefts problem for 5 years now. I see no change to thier wacky patterns on the horizon. -

"Religion of Peace" Strikes Again
Rich in Ohio replied to Moose's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
tell me, is the so called blood on Putins hands as you put it from the children being held hostage inside that school? I think not. this is a terrorist act, plain and simple. These animals have no regard for anything that normal people consider to be sacred. they are insane, and only thier elimination will end thier actions. Unfortunately these nuts have nevered moved forward out of the 15th century. -
"Religion of Peace" Strikes Again
Rich in Ohio replied to Moose's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well I thought i made it pretty clear that I was talking about some recent history, and a more civilized world overall. This is the 21st century after all and not the dark ages. can't remember the last time I saw any of the crusaders flying airplanes. My point is, the rest of the world has moved forward. Religions today (with the excepton of islam) would not allow this kind of murder to continue in it's name. Again before preaching to me please pay attention to my point. Which is, until the normal people in the islam religion hold these bastards responsible, nothing will change. They are acting as enablers by virtue of thier continued silence. These so called highly regarded clerics say little or nothing about the actions of the terrorists who continue to do these in human deeds in the name of islam. Get it? -

"Religion of Peace" Strikes Again
Rich in Ohio replied to Moose's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Can you tell me that last time that a christian, jewish, or non-islamic relisious group did any of the following: 1) flew airplanes full of innocent people into buildings full of innocent people. 2) cut of the heads of innocent people. 3) walked on to a bus full of innocent people and blew themselves up 4) walked into a crowded resturant and blew themsleves up 5) taken a school full of children hostage and prepared to blow them selves and the children up. 6) drove a car full of explosives into a crowd full of women and children and blown themselves up. Just looking for an example or two. Because as I see it, the religion of islam is nothing more then a hate based group of people who are still too ignorant to move out of the dark ages. Yes you have read me correctly, until the so called normal people who call this religion thier own, call for a stop to this brutal actions undertaken by those who call themselves believers, they are equaly responsible. Period! -
So you were one of the 14 people who watched MSNBC's coverage.

Lets compare War Time Service
Rich in Ohio replied to Rich in Ohio's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
he he he , you have rally made my day. I have not even needed to turn on my XM comedy channel today...just read a few of your posts. Come on, you said "Our long-standing reputation in accomplishing many feats of world peace" are you talking about in the middle east? Please...you must be joking. There will never be peace in the middle east until every jew on earth is dead, and everyone who talks to them, supports them, and even thinks that they have a right to walk the earth will meet the same fate that the wacked out islamic fundamentalists has in store for the jews. Do you understand this simple and basic point. These people are insane, and they are not based in anything that you, me or any other normal air breathing human being would consider normal. One more time .....All jews dead= peace in the middle east. This is the only way that the fundamentalists will ever stop the terrorism that they have exported to every corner of the globe. -
Lets compare War Time Service
Rich in Ohio replied to Rich in Ohio's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
OK time to go back to school. Here are some facts about the current war on terror: 1) There has been no attacks on US soil since 9-11 2) OBL is still out there(maybe) but he is under a rock. Better there then making attack plans in Kabul. 3) Airport security has improved greatly. Evidence: No hi-jackings in the USA since 9-11. Until we have another one your arguement is nothing more then opinion. 4) Terror reports contain old, new, and secert informtion. By the way, how many of the actual reports have you read? Hmm just curious. 5) Umm excuse me, the war on terroria=sm will never be won regardless of what happens or does not happen in Iraq. There will always be wacky Islamic nuts who want us dead, and then when we are dead, they will want to kill us again in order to please ala. These are insane people who are trying to liv in our world..unfortunately we will never run out of targets. 6) The USA seems to be pretty safe and secure right now. Reference item #1 7) On what record do you base your belief that JK will be any better abe to get countries who hate the USA (not just GWB) then the current or any other president? You are engaging in wishful thinking at best. The only way we make the countries who are not with us happy...is to appease them. I say we pass on that strategy please. Pay attention closely...there will be a quiz later. -
All we keep hearing about from lurch is how he served his country well, and as a hero, and how that somehow qualifies him to better protect and defend our great nation. Now I have said on this board many times, that I respect JK service to our country as I do any and every one who served honorably. What I am talking about is the fact that he had a whopping 4months of service driving a boat around the rivers of Vietnam. On the other hand GWB has for over three years now conducted a successful war on terrorism. Freeing 30 some million people in Afghanistan, and another 2 million in Iraq. Now, I will give you the fact that not all has been perfect, those of us who understand these things realize that war is not always a perfect science. However, what I am talking about is the fact that GWB has been working this problem for better then three years now and JK spent a few months zipping around on a boat getting shot at occasionally. How does this make JK better qualified in any way shape or form? Oh well, for those of you GWB haters…begin flaming away. No intellectual responses anticipated. But for all others please let me know what you think about this.

Kerry girls booed at MTV Video awards
Rich in Ohio replied to Pete's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Actually I think they were booed because they were not naked. No doubt that the political savy crowd there fully expected that they would either kiss, bare a breast, or something else that would help thier dad get more media play. When they just acted normal they got what they deserved.........dissed by the masses. -
Violence at the NYS RNC Convention
Rich in Ohio replied to stuckincincy's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There is no doubt that the left has mobilized a great deal of wackos and winos to make as much noise as possible for the 4 days that the RNC runs in NYC. They will do this of course because the big 4 liberal networks will be all over this madness like stink on a hog. Just compare it to how many nuts came out to protest the DNC. There was a few but of course the city kept tem far away from the cameras (as if any of the footage would have been aired anyway). Bottom line.......the nuts always come out when the lefties call. All they need is a direction to be pointed...and a bottle of wine at the end of a hard nights work. -
I am surprised that he did not try to tell the fine people of Wisconsin that he and his family are really from Wisconsin. Oh I forgot he already used that line with the fine Irish people of Boston, when he told them that his family was from Ireland. Of course there is always that tiny little detail that his family is actually from Austria.......but who's really paying attention to this ass clown anyway.
