The Latest NFL.COM Power Rankings have the BIlls at....
gravytrain replied to Jay4481's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i'm all for not getting all caught up in everything, but 15th seems a bit high. not that these things mean anything but i'd guess the bills are one of the top 12 teams in the league. anyone? go bills. -
The worst ref for the Bills...
gravytrain replied to gravytrain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not sure. maybe its because jason peters was on the field. but the guy has bias against the bills. -
http://www.football-refs.com/active-refs/gene-steratore/gene-steratore/ gene steratore has anyone ever noticed that this is guy is the worst for buffalo. he does not like the bills. anytime he gets a bills game he always ends up calling things the other way. every time. he as no respect for buffalo, maybe it's a small market thing or something happened to him once here. but he's always incredibly biased for the other team. i'm not paranoid or making this up. i first noticed when the bills played the giants at the ralph a few years ago in the rain that turned to snow. where ahmad bradshaw had his breakout game. anyway, i noticed him chit chatting with a lot of the giants players throughout the game during breaks. he was laughing with them, chumming it up, basically it appeared like he was trying to get on the good side. like a kid who wants to hangout with the cool kids. never once did he chit chat with any bills. and whenver there was a close-call it always went to the giants. go back and watch the game and you'll see. i've noticed ever since then that when we get him its always the same. and then when we had the giants two weeks ago. we had him and sure enough all the close calls went to the giants. look at the huge questionable stevie johnson drop. wth a review it was obviously a catch. but yet again, our friend went with the giants. not sure how many times we get him, but it's never good for us when we do.

teams need personalities for the chemistry of the team. the last thing we need are a bunch of robots. save that for the chess team. don't read too much into these things. focus your energy on beating the jets this weekend. go bills.

biggest game yet by far. but at this point each one gets bigger until we get into the post season. we need to rally. where's fred flinstone when you need him? go go buffalo!!! here here.

Pats are NOT Tied with the Bills
gravytrain replied to The Avenger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
at this point it doesn't matter. there's a lot of football left. let's just concentrate on the jets. oh, by the way... did i mention how much i hate the pats? go bills. -
very good point. but i still like the guy.
-
let's see if the old man is finally serious about having a great team. we've all watched him taken his cheap route, and it's working. but it's not going to last. if he doesn't buck up we're all going to be seeing these 'no name' undrafted guys scattered all over the league the next few years. when your playing well animosity doesn't last long. buck up buddy and ralph. go bills.
-
can't think of too many guys in the league that size who have made such an impact. as linebackers go he's tiny, yet out hussles everyone on the field. good to see him, but even better to beat him. go bills.

Is it time to start "cheering" for the Dolphins?
gravytrain replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
absolutely. i was thinking the same thing today against the giants. i was pulling hard for them today, but they'e inept. -
agreed that buffalo media can certainly be hard on the bills. but can't remember something so explicitly negative. "5 reasons why the Bills will soon run out of gas" it should have read "5 reason why the bill may run out of gas." beside Buffalo media is free to say what they want. They live here. It's a bit different when we're supposed to be supported by our "friends" up north. But thanks for your insight and opinion. Go Bills.
-
From our friends up north. Blasting our D. Thanks for the positive support guys. At least they got to see it first hand. Wonder what the article will be like tomorrow. Why on earth do we even play up there? http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Football/NFL/2011/10/30/18899321.html

i never like to bet on the bills. but it's a crazy year. certainly worth a $100 bet. good luck.

i like that call... a true bills fan who's been through it all. go bills

[closed]If the Toronto doesn't sell out in time.....
gravytrain replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
great move NFL and ralph for letting it happen. let's move 1 of only 8 games at home to a place where no one even gives a crap about football. let alone the bills. what other team in major sports plays one of their home games away from their home stadium every year? i can't think of one. good work roger and ralph. -
the way i see it, we took a shot with merriman and it didn't work. worth the effort. if he came back to even 1/2 the player he was it would've been huge. we took an assumed risk. san diego obviously knew much better than we did. but in the end, i'm glad we tried. go bills

Bills-Redskins Prediction Page
gravytrain replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i don't ever like to say "the bills win easy" because you no what?... they never do. ok, i know... i know... kc was easy. but that was only because it was the first game and everyone in the league thought the bills were going to suck. everyone except for the bills themselves. but honestly, in the last 10 years when did buffalo go into a game and anyone say it was going to be easy? let's stay focused here people and not get ahead of ourselves. it's going to be a good game. buffalo should win. let's not just cocky. go bills. -
you know, i like the guy. he worked hard. he played hard, had a great arm. a great attitude. tried assimilating to western ny. the only problem was he sucked at quarterback. other than, he was a good guy. besides that, how was the show mrs. lincoln?
-
honestly, who cares about these rankings? they don't mean a thing. any team can beat any given team any sunday (except for the dolphins, rams & colts). the real rankings come out in the playoffs. stop reading the hype and channel your energy on the bills getting to the playoffs.

that's hilarous

agreed stupid post.

Idea: C.J. Spiller to Detroit for 2nd Rounder?
gravytrain replied to ShipUPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
let's consider that as much as we all love freddy, he is 30. he's got 2 years left to be the productive back that he is.
