  1. maybe a pm with a link would be great. and sorry for the annoying request every week. Our local is supposed to be showing local games (Bills), but they choose to show everyone but the Bills. Thanks.
  2. That's what makes me think that with Nix saying that a good coach is able to bring in good assistants and run the team like a CEO, that he might have a leg up for our HC job. Billick has brought in some great assistants over the years: as per wiki- Jack Del Rio, Jacksonville Jaguars (2003–present) Marvin Lewis, Cincinnati Bengals (2003–present) Mike Nolan, San Francisco 49ers (2005–2008) Rex Ryan, New York Jets (2009–present) Mike Singletary, San Francisco 49ers (2008–present) Mike Smith, Atlanta Falcons (2008–present)
  3. I bet Brandon's first order of business will be installing a large flat screen TV over the window in Ralph's owners box and replaying Jimbo and Co. from the Super Bowl years every time he's in town for games. Ralph will eat it up with a spoon. Another good hire by Ralph, pat yourself on the back old timer.
  4. AWW man want to go to the "LUCK" store, I wish I could go get me some "LUCK"
  5. Exactly, if he can talk 70000+ people into buying tickets to go watch some of the worst product money can buy week in and week out, selling a single coach on this team should be a breeze.
  6. I definatly wouldn't put Marv and Wade together in any other way with the last three turds. It's just that no matter what, there are those moments in games (in some cases entire games) that no other team could so consistantly lose on such a grand scale that links them all together. It remains a constant over the years that this team can astound you at times by the way that they manage to lose critical games.
  7. Will these Bills type losses end with the hiring of a big time coach or does the Buffalo curse over ride any good furtune that they have had in the past? Marv Levy - Wide Right (along with the other 3 SB blowouts) Wade Phillips - Music City Miracle Greg Williams - (am at a loss right now, but I know he has one too) Mike Mularkey - Loss to 3rd string Steelers for playoff spot Dick Jauron - Monday Night Cowboys or Patriots* losses (along with many others) Question is can any coach that has had a career where they have always been on the side of the field with all the lucky bounces continue that trend standing on the Bills sideline? The curse has been proven to be very hard to break.
  8. The point I was trying to make isn't that Norv Turner is an elite coach but that with a good front office making proper personnel decisions and hiring the right staff is the most important piece towards turning a franchise around. A good head coach is certainly important to the success of a team but without the right man leading the organization it will never produce anything but a mediocre also ran.
  9. Looking at the way that the Chargers are playing lately and the fact that they are doing it with one of the biggest retread coaches in the league just proves that this team should be concentrating on the GM position and front office staff first and the head coaching job second. Turner couldn't get anything done with his two previous attempted head coaching jobs, both with dysfunctional front office's. Now look at the way his team is playing with a top notch QB and balanced lines on both sides of the ball. It just goes to show that the head coaching job does not make or break an NFL franchise like most would like to believe. If Ralph is still able to make decisions for himself, he should bring in a top notch GM hand him the keys and sit back and enjoy his ride off into the sunset.
  10. if you pm these links instead of posting them it makes it way harder for them to get shut down.
  11. my link died too, can i get a pm. please.
  12. can someone please send me a PM with a link to todays game?
  13. little turd, screw him. who cares, he was a bit over rated anyway. that medlesome douche owner in washington will fire hm in a couple of seasons. this team should be more concerned with getting a top notch gm first and letting him find a suitable head coach.
  14. here's a link to the text of the conversation: http://www.wgr550.com/Thurman-Thomas-Expec...m-Bills/5943029
  15. why not pull Fitzpatrick? i just don't see the point of keeping him in he game. it's not like Edwards or Brohm are going to do any worse.
  16. that kick reminds me of this game, looks good at first and then just goes right off track.
  17. here we go again, why did they get my hopes up with that opening drive? i should have known better.
