    In fairness, I haven't really decided on this one, the liquor taxes that this fellow has paid over a lifetime might have paved the roads that the ambulances have used to save someone I love, maybe.     That ain't no trick, that will be the parting of the sea. Christian voters/Social Conservatives on the right are going to be very angry post-2006. There is no way that Rudy clears the litmus. There just are not enough libertarians in the grass roots of the Republican party to carry that nomination. But he could parlay a run into a cabinet position or a VP bid.

    It is an interesting question. But for most of the Founding Father's the question really is which God? For many it was the God of the enlightenment - the deist Architect - and not a Christian God that lends himself to personal relationships.

    I can't help but notice all the gratitude that France gets around here.

    Emanuel helped select a lot of the candidates, but Dean was responsible for spreading money beyond the swing states. Actually there was a bit of a compromise. Emanuel favored targeting districts and winnable races and Dean made sure money still got to the geographically large rural counties. They both get some credit.
