  1. Because a "pantaloon" is one leg of "pantaloons," and "pants" is an abbreviation of "pantaloons." So really, "pants" is plural of "pant," of which pants have two - a left pant and a right pant.
  2. The problem is that no one wants to invite the inevitable circus that trails him. He's not good enough to overcome that baggage as a starter. And if you sign him as a backup, you invite an instant quarterback controversy ("Kaepernick isn't being paid as a starter, and isn't being allowed to start! He's still being silenced by the NFL!")
  3. Against which high schools?
  4. Left first, because the torn hamstring and nerve damage in my right leg makes it difficult otherwise.
  5. Navy's ranked? How?
  6. The country will be divided as long as Republicans have any power. Progressives simply can't accept that.
  7. It is truly bizarre how the country lives in two completely different and inaccurate alternate realities right now.
  8. Trump's need to chill for 30 years. He won't. It's his shtick. He wouldn't be Trump if he could shut the hell up. It's why I disagree with your interpretation: Trump's behavior is consistent with the escalating frustration of a normal politician losing it. But that's not a context that applies to Trump. And in the context of "Trump," this behavior is just normal. He's not nonplussed by this, he's just an overgrown adolescent.
  9. You mean the tweet that defended his right to his act of firing her six months ago that was somehow perceived as "witness intimidation?" Who's off their rocker again?
  10. Yeah...except he's been this close to a meltdown for three years, and it hasn't happened yet. "But this time it'll work!" is a poor hope after this track record of failure. Dems need to stop treating this like socialism, and stop saying "Yes, but true needling of Trump has never been tried!" and move on to something less insane.
  11. Is a what? I mean, that could be one of several thousand terms in the current iteration of the profanity filter. I'm going to guess...shrew?
  12. Yep, it was Biden. Beau Biden. They faked his death, in part so he could go undercover for the USPS, to stage the shooting to embarrass the NRA and Trump. I mean, you don't really think he had brain cancer? That was a cover story for his time in the MKULTRA conditioning program. WAKE UP SHEEPLE!!!!!
  13. If you go back far enough, maybe Clyde Barrow, John Dillinger, and the shooters at the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. I just looked it up...yes, the Vegas shooter had 12 100-round drum magazines (which is a hell of a lot of ammo). And he had more 5.56 rifles than he had drum magazine. I always thought he had half-a dozen guns in the room - turns out it was more like 30. That, and Dayton, this past August, and Aurora, Colorado in 2012 (when the magazine jammed) are the only ones I can find.
  14. How many 75-round drum magazines have been used, nationwide, in shootings?
  15. That's the funniest thing I've read on the internet this month.
  16. But she was, and it is, because...shut up, that's why!
  17. The Washington Post's write-up of Yovanovitch's testimony is pretty awesome. They now want Trump impeached for witness intimidation (for saying she was a bad ambassador, and that he has an unfettered right to appoint ambassadors), and for some ridiculous charge of, as near as I can understand it, violating the State Department's foreign policy.
  18. Gee, it's almost as though when Trump asked for a favor in investigating the origins of the Russia story, he did so because there was actually something to investigate...
  19. And the big losers will be Mayor Pete and Biden, who can't campaign on their impeachment vote. Don't kid yourself: the impeachment vote IS the campaign trail.
  20. Means almost nothing. Everyone challenges contract awards these days. There was no way Amazon was letting this go unchallenged. And yes, they're going to challenge it on "Orange Man Bad" grounds.
