Okay, so I'm watching that asinine Progressive Ice Capades commercial, and thinking "That doesn't look any worse than the real Ice Capades..."

Antonio Brown begs to save Patriots from Texans
DC Tom replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure the Patriots are more than willing to re-sign a player who's suing them for $40m... -
"We need a unique color." "Okay, how about burnt umber?" "No, unique..." "Uh...arsenic gray?" "No, really unique." "Okay...how about highlighter chartreuse?" "Yeah, that's it! Make it happen. We'll show those Rams with their piss-yellow uniforms a thing or two about color..."

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
DC Tom replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You know...the case against his tweets being ghost-written is simply that it's a violation of child labor laws to employ eight year olds. Jesus Christ, this guy is immature as *****. -
Well, in 1938 the Kriegsmarine ("German Navy." ) had just finished trials on Scharnhorst, and brought her back into the builder's yard to replace the vertical stem with the "Atlantic Bow" of greater flare and sheer. Little known fact: the battlecruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisenau were actually better-armored ships than the Bismarck - Bismarck and Tirpitz were little more than enlarged Baden-class battleships with an obsolete armor plan. In fact, the battleships were badly flawed, as piping and venting for the boilers ran over the armored deck, meaning the ships could be easily disabled with non-penetrating hits. In their defense, though, they didn't have the benefit of 20 years of post-WWI research that the British, Americans, and Japanese did, and as a modernized WWI dreadnought design Bismarck was undoubtedly impressive. But really, you didn't have to ask. I was ready to admit, before I finished the second line of your post, that my cell phone ringtone is the intro to Rush's "Limelight," which of course is only the fourth-best song off Moving Pictures...

Although many here would be surprised the way this childless white male has usually voted.

Wonder if he'll try the "You can't fire me, I quit!" gambit again. -

The '80s called, they want their insane political ranting back. -
They probably don't need VirtualBox, either. Which is what started this discussion. If I'm enough of a power user to want VirtualBox, I'm probably enough of one to want Win 10 Pro.

I personally would recommend the upgrade to most. But I'd also be personally stuck supporting it, so if they want my help they damn well better shell out the extra $60 to make my life easier. At the very goddamn least give me Powershell.

Duuuude...you're being very uncool. Mellow your harsh, and connect with a Venus-Saturn conjunction or something. You're far too interconnected with Mars, man. Vaccinate your thoughts against the Man, man...

Yep. In school, they call the class "social studies" and not "history." There's a reason for that. -
So he's not on Jupiter? Then how is he connected to Jupiter?

That is a heady brew of third-grade playground insults.
