  1. Reading the replies to that...and it hits me that this could be the last straw that tears the country apart: the refusal of the FBI to start a civil investigation into a criminal accusation more than three decades old. We deserve the violent revolution that's coming. We are a seriously stupid country.
  2. No, you !@#$ing froot loop. I don't owe you an explanation of your own bull ****.
  3. When did it become my responsibility to validate your insanity?
  4. Yes, I'd like to tell my story. But not until the FBI investigates the crime perpetrated against me. I can't answer any questions before that, and frankly I'm shocked you'd even suggest such a thing! You're victimizing me all over again!
  5. He assaulted me. Back in the summer of '82. Or maybe '83. Or it could have been '84. At a party with five other people, who I don't remember. And it might have been someone else. But you should believe me unconditionally. Just ask around. I never told anybody, but they can all confirm my story.
  6. Democratic response: "Well, then he obviously perjured himself." Just like they're now saying that Ford shouldn't testify to the committee under any circumstances. Can't wait until Tuesday, when she hasn't testified, and the Senate Democrats start screaming about how she was never given the opportunity to do so.
  7. When was this? I gotta start watching Fox again...
  8. Fair fights are for suckers. His problem is that he doesn't fight at all. He flops.
  9. Oh, it's cute. He's so clueless he's trying to have it both ways and can't understand why he can't. It's a level of cluelessness akin to watching a two year old write a letter to the Easter Bunny. He's frickin' adorable. "Hold my sippy cup and watch this!"
  10. Not so great as the power of Russian Facebook posts, though...
  11. Until they hit the cap and can't make one of their interminable mid-season garbage roster moves.
  12. The accuser never told anyone, but everyone knew. Sure... The summer of...a year, no one's really sure which.
  13. Most likely. But they have to go through arbitration first, and if Davis really wants to be a pain in the ass, he can probably string it out.
  14. Y'know...he let it go already. You could too.
  15. Of course not. The House Minority Whip's Senior Clerk made it happen.
  16. That is a weird distribution for the Big Cats (Bengals-Panthers) game.
  17. Yeah...even bad publicity is publicity. And Nike knew exactly what it was doing, and which demographic buys their overpriced crap.
  18. Plus...they don't provide it, committee only reinterviews Kavanaugh (or Republicans cancel Monday's hearing completely), Democrats scream how unfairly the accuser is being treated - and Democratic base is too damned stupid to know that the committee is only acting according to Senate rules - and Democrats get yet another "win" going in to the mid-terms. Probably with the complaints of "Why is this being rushed?" and "Friday isn't enough time!" And asking the hearing be delayed for another week or two - more likely two - so they can prepare properly. (That Feinstein sat on this for two months is completely irrelevant - no longer part of the story.) Which the Republicans won't do, which will be portrayed as completely unfair and "War on Women" of them...and again, a "win" going in to mid-terms. She's not testifying. It's actually better for Democrats if she doesn't.
  19. Most people still are. The country as a whole is maybe 30 days from a starvation-fueled revolution at any given time.
  20. I think we've already lost, frankly. It's over except for the shooting.
  21. "I was an obstacle to [Russia's] plans to undermine and disrupt our democracy." Tell that to Bernie Sanders, you !@#$ing nitwit.
  22. I gotta go with the trend and pick Cleveland. I could see them going 0-11-5 at this point...
  23. "It is now. When it had people like Strozk, Comey, and McCabe, it was on the side of law and order. Since Trump fired all those people, it's become politicized, as their unwillingness to investigate Kavanaugh's history as a sexual predator shows..." [/Democrats] Everything confirms their preconceptions, because anything that doesn't is a lie, fabrication, or part of a conspiracy to hide the truth of their preconceived notions. Keep that in mind when the unredacted FISA applications are released.
