  1. No, but they can be that stoned.
  2. Alyssa Milano at a Senate confirmation hearing? As if we needed any more evidence the Democrats were perpetuating a farce.
  3. Probably. I mean, it's not like he's going to alienate them more, and a show of personal pride can't hurt at this point.
  4. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/206641-president-donald-j-trumps-supreme-court-nominee/?do=findComment&comment=5348127 Why not?
  5. Your dedication to being completely and thoroughly wrong is remarkable. Or reinforces it. Rape victims are emotionally troubled.
  6. And her testimony is about as far from "impeachable" as it can get.
  7. Nothing to gain? First, she's a hero to her tribe. Second...do you know how much she's going to get for interviews and speaking engagements? Third...what do you want to bet this is her entry into politics. Probably a House seat.
  8. Well, I hate childrens' television, so...teletubbies.
  9. They've been doing that for two weeks. Seriously...have you ever seen an accuser drive any sort of hearing like Ford's team has? The Heroic Cult of Victimhood has metastasized to where moral outrage has precedence over Senate parlimentary rules.
  10. Wait...why the !@#$ are they testifying in Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation hearing about whether or not they're working pro bono? Do people simply not realize that THIS IS A !@#$ING SENATE CONFIRMATION HEARING.
  11. Not really. The votes are pretty much set already, the news stories already written. There's nothing honest resulting from this.
  12. And Ocasio-Cortez is banging on the hearing room's door...
  13. Apparently, the smarter the testifier, the more spotty the vocabulary. Bill Clinton's well-known as a genius, and wasn't clear on the definition of "is."
  14. Your lawyers paid for it, and you didn't check the itemized bill. All of this is such ambiguous bull **** that I can objectively justify just about any statement made. There's no resolution to be found here.
  15. Yes, attempted assault. And it's still just he said/she said. But I refer to her as a "rape victim" simply to defuse the inevitable fallacious "You don't believe her" counter-argument. It moves the argument away from true/false to criminal justice and due process, which is where it belongs.
  16. Not uncommon. Would write more, but have to run to a meeting.
  17. That can be rape. I know guys who've been convicted of rape for just that.
  18. Probably not. You don't generally recover that quickly from reliving that trauma, either. But it is ALWAYS difficult to accurately judge a rape victim's behavior. It's highly individualized. As I once told someone "You're not screwed up, you're normal. You were assaulted; If you weren't impacted by it, THAT would be screwed up."
  19. As someone who's sat through a few rape testimonies, that's not an uncommon presentation. That's not how it works. You don't "get over" sexual assault.
  20. She could have heard them hitting the walls. But "pinballing" is an odd choice of words. But that is a professionally written message, not a personal affidavit.
  21. As well he should. I've never seen anything this !@#$ed up.
  22. Hooray for medicinal...medicine!!!
  23. Mistaken identity. It was Richard Gere.
