  1. Nope. People will still be the same morons shelling out for oogie-boogie "science" marketed by charlatans.
  2. No...Trump still doesn't have the authority. The Senate has to order it first.
  3. But in her defense...Kavanaugh raped her, so how DARE you victim shame!
  4. That'll happen when you're sitting at traffic lights for an hour at a time.
  5. I live - and have dealt with this very topic - in the real world. You want an echo chamber, go stick your head further up your wife's ass.
  6. When I was falsely accused, I was sympathetic to my accuser. Because she had, in fact been raped. But I certainly was defensive and and self-centered when I was explaining that I didn't do it. Of course, it helped me be sympathetic that when I was accused, I was accused by the victim seeking justice through the criminal justice system, and not by Dianne !@#$ing Feinstein trying to derail a Senate confirmation and destroy me. I think if the latter case were true, I would have felt far less sympathy.
  7. And since he's been called a pedophile who molests girls on his basketball team, I'll bet he's become even MORE selfish. He really should think of others and reply "I'm sorry. Even though I didn't do any of this, I COULD have, and I shouldn't be so sensitive to the attempts to destroy myself, my family, and my life, and think more about the people I never victimized in these events that never happened."
  8. Selection bias. Twitter doesn't provide a "You're a !@#$ing moron" response.
  9. I can guarantee that anybody who's falsely accused of sexual assault is going to come across as self-centered, thin-skinned, and defensive.
  10. No ****. You think random women get into the hallways of the Capitol to accost Senators? They were signed in, by someone's staff. And escorted to where they could intercept Flake. Which means the thing was cooked up and coordinated within 24 hours by someone with connections and means.
  11. Heard on radio just now: Republicans acted in bad faith by making the accusations into a political issue... No, he should immediately be fired.
  12. One to change the bulb, and 60 million to scream the light bulb was oppressed by Republicans and it never would have burned out under a Democratic president.
  13. Because Republicans are racist.
  14. Doesn't matter. Only takes one rape accusation to silence them.
  15. Actual New York Times headline: Trump Agrees to Open ‘Limited’ F.B.I. Investigation Into Accusations Against Kavanaugh Quotes theirs. Yep. Democrats are going to argue the FBI investigation wasn't thorough enough, and call for more time. And the media's right there with them.
  16. The italicized at the end is disgusting.
  17. Depends. Is it a normal investigation? Then no. Is it prompted by a Democratic temper tantrum? Then...still no, because they just shoot you.
  18. She's their president.
  19. I said that with the Gorsuch nomination: nominate Garland, and let the left tie themselves in knots trying to simultaneously portray Trump as Panzerkampfmaschinegehilfer-Hitler while voting for his nominee. It's the sort of epic troll move that he'd pull off. They did oppose Bush's anti-HIV/AIDS program in Africa...until 2009, when they praised Obama for it.
  20. They also violate basic human rights by relying on a justice system based on the principle of guilty until proven innocent and the burden of proof being on the accused...
  21. "We believe Juanita Broaddrick! We believe Karen Monahan...wait, what?"
  22. No, that's the President. The President grants rights and writes laws. The Supreme Court enacts them. And Congress rallies the masses in support of the President's actions. The three branches of government, according to liberals. ----------------------------------- Trump just ordered the FBI to investigate a criminal complaint that is not in the FBI's jurisdiction or scope that is well past its statute of limitations, based on nothing more than mob hysteria. Kavanaugh is an idiot to put up with this bull ****.
  23. "Are you angry about being set up in a kangaroo court?" "Do you think the Senate Judicial committee consists of 21 Romper Room rejects?"
  24. I'm from MD. The three second rule here is "If it's on the floor for three seconds, it's a $500 fine for polluting the Chesapeake Bay watershed." They want a week long delay so they have another week to come up with more delays. I don't think a poly delays things enough. An FBI investigation sure does...because first you have to argue about jurisdiction, then have the investigation, then challenge the investigation in court on jurisdictional grounds, which starts with figuring out which court should have jurisdiction over the challenge... I can think of plenty of legal and sane ways to string this out for a couple of years. I'm sure the Democrats will find a way that's illegal and stupid ("Kavanaugh got a speeding ticket in 1989. We know he's a raging alcoholic. Was he drunk when he got the ticket? We need an investigation!")
  25. That's where, when Nancy Pelosi's face falls off, you have two hours to put it back on and give her another botox shot.
