  1. How DARE he spread such a message of hate! We need more civility in politics, and should beat Trump with a tire iron until we get it! [/CNN]
  2. The raid on SF Hydro is an interesting story. And rather screwed up, as were most British SOE operations of the time. But really...largely irrelevant. The Germans had scant ability to develop a weapon from theory. It took America a massive investment of capital and effort that the Germans couldn't have hoped to match in less than ten years - more like twenty if you include the need to develop uranium mining in Thuringia.
  3. Hey, an Ellen DeGeneres conspiracy is pretty goddamn new and unique... Baskin. He changed his screen name. Too bad. I'm going to miss that visceral reaction of "Holy *****, this is going to be epically stupid!" when seeing the name "baskin."
  4. They received a package from Debbie Wasserman-Schultz?
  5. Note there's no "Native Americans for Trump" sticker on that car. I'm pretty sure that (the Native American) image was faked.
  6. I go to Hillary's account, and all the replies to anything she posts are from people who hate her. I go to Trump's account...same thing. People on Twitter follow people they disagree with, to disagree with them. It's not mysterious.
  7. Every time I hear the Bills have a "legit star in the making," I can't help thinking "Legit star...for another team."
  8. I repeat: he is a brilliant marketer. A schmuck in all other ways...but he became a multi-billionaire by selling his name. Brilliant marketer.
  9. We won't. You know this will cause a call from very public neo-prog Jacobin tribalists to further combat and suppress conservatives because "no dialog is possible with Nazis." People on Splinter, Common Dreams, and HuffGlue are probably saying it right now.
  10. At my office. AT MY OFFICE. This notion of "violent rhetoric" isn't an abstraction. Waters, Clinton, Holder, Feinstein, etc., have created a direct threat to my safety, and the safety of others.
  11. He can petition the trial judge to withdraw his plea post-sentence, but it's a long shot. About the only argument he has is if he waived the right to appeal as part of his plea, so that he has no other redress but having the plea withdrawn. He can't just withdraw it unilaterally post-sentencing, though.
  12. I wouldn't. Disaffected former employee, pissed off and wanting revenge? Not at all impossible.
  13. Wait 'till they get to the boarder and find out that, not the march, but the waiting is the hardest part. You all suck.
  14. Oh, so NOW he's celebrating terrorist bombs????? [/MSNBC]
  15. Nice try, CSGV. But the lithium story still wins the day.
  16. Happens all the time on the DC metro. Not escalators going wild. People standing at the bottom, so others run into them. Same thing, just slower. (I hate people.)
  17. Have you met gugny?
  18. You recognize the inconstancy of one as noble, but think the other is static and constant. It has nothing to do with Trump. It has everything to do with you being a hypocrite who can't be taken seriously.
  19. I mean, it could be a government iPhone - they do exist. But that's still really damn funny.
  20. They president who was against gay marriage and the president who was for gay marriage were the same person. Obama "evolved." Trump, though, he's static. Again, we see the a priori dualist "good vs. evil" assumption embodied in the neo-progressive Jacobin tribalist Weltanschauung.
  21. It's shocking, how many replies to that are basically "***** you, you deserved it." I'm thinking those aren't metaphorical, either.
  22. What? There...was a reason? Please...tell us more.
  23. Plus...he appears to think a criminal referral is yet another Senate Hearing.
  24. So instead of angry rhetoric leading to civil strife, your alternative explanation is...market research? What, HAARP and chemtrails just doesn't do it for you?
  25. Too busy arguing about...which QB is he for? Is he a Taylorite? An Allen Wrench? A Petermaniac? An Andersonson? Another mark of the sopojatrib: an immature belief in the discredited Great Man Theory of history. Forget the greater context of socio-economics and societal pressures and evolution...the real problem is one demagogue, and society is naught but a weak, vulnerable spectator.
