I reported this to the mods. There's no need for this sort of profanity. -

So they decided to punish Gordon by making him play a full game against the Bills? -

Ben Shapiro Explains The Transgender Conundrum
DC Tom replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Y'know...were I a governor at the time "gay marriage" went national, I would have told the state offices to cease issuing any marriage certificates. Not because I'm against gay marriage - I voted for it when it came up on the state ballot. But because if the federal government wants to define marriage, they can take on the burden of licensing it. -
Pats suspending Josh Gordon for 1st quarter for tardiness
DC Tom replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't doubt if the conversation with him went something like "We'd play you if we needed you, but this is the Bills..." -
I stand by what I've always said: the Bills can go 2-14, as long as the two wins are against Miami.

McDermott doing WGR coach's show at 5pm on Gameday?
DC Tom replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not like it was tough to figure out: assume I'm not the most important person in the universe. Ergo, McDermott doesn't have to explain the NE game to me. Ergo, what other, non-me reason does McDermott have to not reschedule? -
DR likes guns? Really...the above is the wackiest conspiracy theory I've seen floated so far.
-
Exactly. I tried, but it was hard enough just keeping up with those two.

McDermott doing WGR coach's show at 5pm on Gameday?
DC Tom replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or he's got a short week to prepare for Chicago, and doesn't want the distraction of a rescheduled radio show. -
We've known that for years.

Can you believe the unmitigated gall of this Nazi?

I know. As much as I'm accused of drinking Greg's Kool-aid, I still never attribute to malice what is just as easily attributed to stupidity. Or in this case, laziness, which is just as well.

The evidence seems to be "Trump was elected." The argument was always that Hillary was anti-Putin, as evidenced by events in Ukraine when she was Secretary of State. Which I always thought was rather specious, given that the administration during that time also eased sanctions on Putin, had a huge hand in developing Skolkovo, handed over our Middle Eastern policy to Putin, and "gave Putin 80% of our uranium" (whatever that's supposed to mean.) Mostly, what I think happened is that Putin, rather than trying to swing the election one way, just wanted to sow chaos and distrust in the system no matter who won. And lucked into the stupidest election cycle in the history of the world - the two sorriest, most divisive candidates in this country's history, both of whom were susceptible to social media propaganda, either of whom would have jumped on an "election fraud" narrative had they lost and maximized the chaos. There's no conspiracy otherwise - no one could have conspired to arrange things so that, no matter who lost, the loser would undermine the system.

Between that, and last week's announcement about China and Iranian oil...I think I'm doubling down on Chinese tech stocks tomorrow...

You forgot to call him a Nazi. Have someone debug you.

I know previous press secretaries who had a contentious public relationship with the media had a far more cordial and professional one behind the scenes. It's generally been recognized that the relationship is supposed to be adversarial. I can't imagine that would hold true for Sanders and the media. The vitriol is off-the-charts personal. It's as if the media, having had nothing approaching an adversarial relationship with the Obama press office, is taking it personally that they're not being spoon-fed stories by the Trump admin., and have to work for a living.

If anyone's curious, that's thirteen tipping points, and the end has begun no less than twenty-six times in twenty one months.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
DC Tom replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There is a conspiracy that the traditional calendar is faked, in order to hide certain events in history. Clearly, Obama's party to it.
