  1. Reminder: this dingbat, who didn't have the fiscal foresight to plan for an interim period of no income, now has a say in our federal budget.
  2. And the framing was changed. So technically, it was altered. But that's not the same as "doctored." But you don't see the White House sharing altered videos. You see people telling you the White House shared doctored videos. You don't actually know anything.
  3. You ***** retard. The article itself says the frame format is different. CSpan uses progressive, where the White House provided a video with interleaved frames. Those aren't "added" frames, they're differences in systems of framing.
  4. The WTC was a controlled demolition, too. It's obvious on the undoctored video. God, you people are such ***** morons. Amateur dipshits thinking they can do photo-analysis on online videos on consumer-grade electronics. You CAN'T. Stop pretending you can. And even if you can...just go back and look at the original. ***** dumbasses.
  5. Considering that defending Acosta is defending his disruption of the entire White House press corps, I'd go with ignorant. Really...Acosta has done more to suppress the press than Trump has. Trump just fights with the media. Acosta has actively tried to prevent other members of the press from doing their jobs. It boggles my mind that anyone defends him.
  6. Complete and utter *****. Acting principal officers have never been required to be approved by the Senate before. For example: Kathleen McGettian was a 25-year government employee, named as the acting OPM director without any Senate hearing or confirmation. Several other OPM acting directors were named from the OPM General Counsel role, which is not Senate approved either. Nobody complained then...because a Senate hearing has never been required for an "acting" position. This is nothing more than people looking for any reason to complain about Trump just because he's Trump.
  7. Some of those people, marching in support of Sessions, voted for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. ***** weird.
  8. Which would explain why they're pushing this "popular House and Senate votes" nonsense, too. If they steal FL and AZ, it "represents the will of the people" because "the Democratic Party won the popular vote!"
  9. And as I realized it earlier today, I thought "Nah, it can't be, I refuse to be Greg." But after thinking through it a little more, I thought "Goddammit reality, stop justifying Greg's story!" But really...again, the distinction between signature and modus operandi: MO can vary, and Trump's does to some degree, but signature is psychologically engrained, and doesn't vary. And Trump's doesn't: it's brash, impulsive, dramatic, shambolic. It was his signature on The Apprentice, it's his signature in his presidency. And if you work backwards from the a priori assumption that Trump intends to fire Mueller, it superficially looks like his signature...but it's not, because to be a prelude to firing Mueller, it would represent planning, consideration, and organization. Conversely, if it represented a typical Trump decision as a prelude to firing Mueller, we would have had leaks, rumors, innuendo, drama, and denials before a dramatic announcement followed by stories of chaos in the administration. So...it's not what it looks like. Doesn't mean he won't fire Mueller...but it can't be for the reasons everyone automatically assumes. Watching that video, I keep expecting him to say "Hi, Joker!" and shoot R. Lee Ermey.
  10. Through who-knows-what sort of camera, digitized and compressed for CSpan, then redistributed by the White House from CSpan to be photo-analyzed on consumer-quality LCD screens everywhere. But keep it up. Maybe you'll find that Acosta was actually hit by a supersonic cruise missile...
  11. Wow. They are actually resorting to the "But she touched me first!" defense. Seriously...just...wow. Don Lemon's going to give us a "Double dumbass pork chop on you!" retort soon, isn't he?
  12. On the metro coming home today, I was in a car full of people holding professionally printed signs protesting the termination of the Mueller probe. Not bothering to note that the probe hasn't been ended, I asked one of them where they got the signs, and who paid for the printing and distribution. And was told that I needed to stop listening to the Fox News propaganda and start thinking for myself... ...but I wasn't the one holding the professionally bulk-printed and paid-for sign provided by parties unknown, was I?
  13. Here's what's weird to me: Sessions' "resignation as requested" has so far been very clean and straightforward. The announcement was relatively restrained; his resignation letter was congenial if not even friendly, with no evident rancor, the naming of the acting AG undramatic. Pretty much completely unlike the other firings and resignations by a guy who thrives on drama and chaos. For an impulsive wrecking ball like Trump, this has been downright un-Trumpian. Organized. Undramatic. Unimpulsive. Like it's been planned for a while, and only waiting on the timing.
  14. Lee didn't have slaves. He freed his father-in-law's. Score: Lee, 200 freed. Lincoln, zero.
  15. Those don't qualify as "moons."
  16. No, but we have "Session suspended" and "invalid Session" tech memes now.
  17. Seriously, it's the dumbest conspiracy theory I've ever heard. The White House doctored a video to falsely convey what the widely-available undoctored video adequately conveyed, in order to suppress the freedom of the press by targeting all of CNN in the guise of a single reporter who is objectively an ***** who has done more by himself to inhibit freedom of the press than the President who's supposedly muzzling a media that still somehow has the complete freedom to complain about being muzzled? Based on a half-assed amateur photo-analysis by the same people that brought you "9/11 nanothermite and micro-nukes?" This is dumber than Icke's reptoids.
  18. The post. I'm not reading that stupid ***** article. It's bad enough I wasted a tenth of a second reading that post.
  19. And her brain. I'm sure Ruth would like a fresh one that's never been used.
  20. Now THIS is the Stupidest Thing I've Read All Day...
  21. Read a story recently from a woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted by her boyfriend because he refused to have sex with her unless she wore his favorite eye shadow. If "refusing to have sex with someone" is sexual assault, then what Acosta did was definitely rape, and probably attempted murder.
  22. And there we go. The Stupidest Thing I'll Read All Day.
