Five minutes' reflection by an even remotely intellectually honest editor would conclude that's not demonstrated either way by any facts, and is the result of gleeful anticipation of a presumed result. It's actually sad...they've completely reversed premise and conclusion, and are completely oblivious to it.

The Fire Bell In The Night
DC Tom replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well...it looked like the same homeless guy today, but he didn't say "God Bless" like he usually does, and he talked in to his shirt collar more than normal, so I suppose he could have been compromised... -
And of course these ***** have Imperial Stormtrooper aim. Other sound effects I want to hear added: Frogs Howard Dean screams. John Madden saying "bam!" The Road-Runner "meep meep!" (Come to think of it, I'd like to hear one of them to "bam!" and the other to "meep meep!") Homer Simpson's "D'oh!" Bicycle horns.

That's not a "hack." That's called "handing over your information." That's like me handing a homeless guy a $100, then claiming he mugged me. -
Bills have released Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes
DC Tom replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be the "They only have one WR on the practice squad" they didn't need to open a roster spot for because Bodine's on IR. -
It's like watching mimes curse.

We were eating his contract either way. It's irrelevant - it was the last year of his contract. Best case is someone grabs him off waivers - no idea who, no one needs a lukewarm body at WR that badly - and the Bills are off the hook for about $2M this year, when it doesn't make any difference. Which players in-house? They could just inactivate KB and Holmes and get the same effect if they wanted to look at players on the roster. And on the practice squad...they only have one WR, and they already had an open roster spot with Bodine going on IR. -

But...why now? I mean, why even bother? It's not like they need the roster spots. -
Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
DC Tom replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He'll have to wait until 2024. He doesn't have the national exposure yet to make a 2020 run, and the Democrats won't waste him in a year when their only platform is "Orange Man Bad." The Democrats will make sure he gets national exposure during the 2020 cycle, with a promise to crown him His Royal Democratic Highness in 2024. -
Midterm Election Gameday Thread
DC Tom replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How did we go from mid-terms to polemics about health care from a bloviating babboon who doesn't understand the basic concept of "scarcity?" -

Midterm Election Gameday Thread
DC Tom replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I didn't ask "what is the use case?" I said "define it." The point I would eventually get it is that "triage" - like many denials of care in the medical industry - is driven by scarcity of services and resources, and time. There is no "universality," because it is a finite resource. "Triage" is a single illustration of that: it exists because doctors cannot treat everyone, because they are a limited exclusive-use resource. Not because of fiscal constraints. You simply don't understand the concepts in effect here. That you think that, because doctors ascribe to an oath that they treat anyone, that they therefore must treat everyone, is such a basic failure of reasoning that it makes it obvious that you simply don't have the skills to have the discussion you're attempting here. -

Read the EULA. You don't own Apple products so much as you lease them as part of an entire "ecosystem," which they own and control. It's the primary reason I avoid Apple like the plague. Because they are a plague. -
Rumor down here is they're considering bringing in Peterman. At least, it's the rumor in my office. That I started. But I'm determined to give it legs. The look on Redskins fans' faces when they hear it is priceless.

Trump will campaign against him anyway. Just watch. -
You know, sometimes you're only one "cha-chi" away from being a low-rent Dennis Miller. (That's not a bad thing.)

That 19 second gif of Hatch eating bacon has better production quality than ESPN's MNF graphics.
