Global warming err Climate change HOAX
DC Tom replied to Very wide right's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No, that falls under the general "I don't like him" reason most people give for supporting impeachment. She is. She - or her social media handlers, more likely - could teach the Democrats quite a bit about dealing with the Candied Yam in Chief. -

No. But that's what elections are for. Not impeachment. -
Honestly, that's not even close to the worst idea I've ever heard for addressing homelessness.

Well, yeah. They were obviously reacting to white supremacy.

Well, yeah...but I presume he's reference the recent "going after Barron" bad pun on the term "baron" that wasn't going after Barron. -

I think it's nice he's treating her like an adult. Or like he treats adults. But you know who we should really criticize for this? Melania. Or at least that's what people are saying now. -

"Fairly typical errors?" That dingbat thinks there's an acceptable level of error in authorizing the secret surveillance of American citizens??? -

It's not nearly as concentrated as you think. Even though where I work is headquartered in DC, most of the political power is distributed among a dozen different field offices. In fact, the real problem is something of the opposite: the federal government's power is too distributed. Not geographically, but administratively through the CFR. That's the real "Deep State;" the SES and GS-14s+ who wield that regulatory power. -

I don't know, but when someone does, it'll be the Democrats' fault. Seriously, though...I think the government's beyond fixing. Either accept that we're going to be living in some sort of oligarchic aristocracy for the foreseeable future (at best - at worst, a dystopian Robespierrian fascist Republic with West Virginia playing the part of the Vendee), or take up arms against it. But we're well into a generational trend away from republican democracy that's not likely to reverse itself, given that we have a full generation now that's grown up accepting that trend as normal. -

The Resistance wouldn't be the Resistance if they lived in reality.
