    Insurance companies are already jacking up premiums, and deductibles. This court decision is irrelevant to that. Really, the most impact would be on the Medicaid expansion. It's academic anyway. This is just a necessary predecessor to getting it in front of the Supreme Court. It doesn't change anything.

    Forget the "what" and "why." This is objectively at best incompetence, at a level that wouldn't even pass muster in a bad courtroom drama series. It should be a non-partisan issue: everything against Flynn should be thrown out. Even if he's guilty, there's no way a *****-up as bad as this should be the foundation for a criminal conviction.

    Any honest person would agree that Flynn's case should be thrown out, with prejudice, because of the malfeasance of the government in pursuing it. If this were a DEA case against an inner-city drug dealer, the left would be livid about the government abuse of process and the rights of the accused.

    I did. There's not a hell of a lot of evidence of malfeasance in the article, either. Mostly supposition masquerading as fact.

    The Obama administration provided information to the Senate Intelligence Committee prior to leaving office, and prior to an administration taking office they were afraid would suppress the information. I'm not seeing a hell of a lot of malfeasance in that.

    "Social Insurance and Retirement" intake was $179B. Social Security, Medicare, and "Income Security" outlays were $373B. Holy Jesus, we are *****.

    Retroactive? And just how the ***** are they going to do that? People who moved in to the state this year are on the hook for five years of taxes? People who moved out of the state this year are going to be chased down in other states and forced to pay? The State of California is not living in reality.
