Little known fact: all that damage to the Colosseum? That was done by Jews from the Judean People's Front driving hijacked chariots in to it. Not micro-ballistae and nano-Greek Fire like everyone believes. ORIRE, POPULOVES!!! There were worse. Justinian's plague was probably worse. But you said there were ten worse.

People were influenced by that? Don't they care that Elmer Fudd was banned for being a hunter, or Porky Pig for mocking people with speech impediments, or Foghorn Leghorn for being a southern gentleman slave-owner? Really, the only Looney Tunes character they can air any more is Tweety, just sitting in his cage, staring blankly in to space...

Partially correct. History is the study of the recorded past. That starts with Gobekli Tepi.

Yeah, it's more like 11,000. I'm going to preemptively call you an idiot for arguing with me on this. You're an idiot.

This is a key point. Whatever motives you want to ascribe to Sullivan, two incontrovertible facts are: 1) Sullivan did not void the guilty plea, as he could do if he believed it appropriate, and 2) Sullivan did not sentence Flynn, which he also could have done, given it was a sentencing hearing. All these arguments about "what it all means" miss the bigger picture: it means it's not resolved yet. It's still open and ongoing. That in itself speaks volumes...though what it speaks to, I again won't speculate.

Given the phenomenal idiocy of his post, I suspect "the Bills not drafting Mahomes" is in there somewhere.

Funny thing is, Babi Yar was the exception rather than the rule. Most mass exterminations in the east were smaller and less organized. Joachim Peiper's brigade - of Malmedy fame - was known as the "Blowtorch Battalion" for burning villages with alarming frequency. The massacre at Malmedy was caused in large part because Peiper's troops were habituated to casual atrocity and didn't think anything of shooting up small groups of people in passing. What was an exceptional war crime in the western context was just a day's work in the east.

The Deep State War Heats Up
DC Tom replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Seriously...my intetpretation of "Deep State" has always been "the civil service government bureaucracy." Bureaucracy is always self-sustaining and ready to defend itself...and after the politicization of parts of it under Obama, it was primed to do so in partisan form. But it doesn't move in organized fashion. It's moves in the direction defined by the brownian pressure of several million individual, uncoordinated thoughts, and is less a grand conspiracy than the proverbial diarhhetic elephant. -
The Deep State War Heats Up

He's still alive because the Deep State needs an antagonist to get the people behind their attempts at power consolidation. Just one example of such: Trump and his supporters, with their tweets, have convinced a wide swath of his detractors that speech should be regulated and even silenced if it disagrees with them. That plays right in to the Deep State's hands. Trump's the best thing that ever happened to them. Instead of fighting for an abstract agenda, they fight against a concrete enemy. He's far too useful.
