    The "federal workers not getting paid" thing is a bit overblown, just because of the government payroll schedule. Most workers still have one paycheck coming to them, on the 16th, so they don't truly start feeling the financial effects of the shutdown until late January. But the vendors that support government work...they are already taking a hit.

    BREAKING NEWS: NASA names objects after Nazi mythology... Thanks, Trump! Seriously...this is the dumbest thing I've seen in about a month, and I follow Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter. There were maybe 500 Nazis who believed this Ultima Thule bull#### - calling it "Nazi mythology" is like calling Jim Jones' Peoples Temple part of the mainstream Democratic Party.

    Because no intelligence service ever infiltrated a private organization. More damning than the existence of the denial is the nature of it: it's "denial" by misdirection. And by the way: bull#### they're a private organization. They're funded via the federal budget, owned and operated by an agency of the government, out of a government building.
