Posted a link to a tweet that threatened someone?

I want to see Warren v. Romney. Pow-Wow Chow vs. Magic Underwear. Mitt Romney owns a horse, but Liz Warren has the Great Plains Horse Culture in 1/1024 of her blood.

You're an idiothead.

I have to say though, I have a certain respect for the creativity of threatening to "turn [his] kidneys into sushi." That's pretty good, and not something you hear every day.

She has a Master's in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern. Hard pass.

You didn't actually read anything here, did you? Just decided to pop in and post something stupid...

Actually, at this point they probably could, and their popularity rating would increase.

Buffalo's reputation amongst free agents
DC Tom replied to clayboy54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, it's the city and region, the culture of losing, and the talent on the team, and how much they're being offered. And they're not obscure. The franchise is apparently well-known for having the Auschwitz of visitor locker rooms. Isn't that you're entire argument? But how are we ever going to attract quality free agents if we don't upgrade the facilities they never use??? -
NFL fines Jordan Mills more than Kiko and Quinn
DC Tom replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's one of the reason's it's not absurd. It's objectively based on what happens, not subjectively based on an arbitrary measure of the player's failed intent. The reason it's absurd is because it weighs swearing at an official as roughly four times as bad as swearing at another player, which is still higher than kicking a player in the head. And again...Kiko was fined for kicking Allen in the head. He was fined for what actually happened, not what didn't happen but could have. -

It's not because of the visitors' locker room. "I'm not signing with the Bills, because they make the Dolphins and Patriots suffer in less-than-palatial circumstances once a year!" I don't think that's anyone's rationale. -
Or if you desperately hate Trump, which is less unpopular and insane...until you take it to this apocalyptic level.

I would come away from that thinking the team's not interested enough in winning home games. -

There's no schedule of fines for "Trying to be unnecessarily rough." -
Not as much as you'd think, though. Edward R. Murrow showed bias in his reporting (albeit against Hitler and McCarthy, so no one cared, and he did allow McCarthy a half-hour rebuttal on his show), and ultimately lost his job complaining that his producers didn't allow him to show enough bias. And Cronkite's Vietnam reporting was decidedly, intentionally, purposefully slanted. It's always been present...it's just usually not nearly as bad as it is now. Even Civil War reporting was less angry and biased than news is today.

NFL fines Jordan Mills more than Kiko and Quinn

It was probably when Quinn was pulling his face mask, and Mills was repeatedly shouting "Get your ***** fingers out of my ***** mask, you ***** *****!" He should have just kneed Quinn in the balls until he let go. It's the lesser infraction. -
NFL fines Jordan Mills more than Kiko and Quinn
DC Tom replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not quite. Instances of fines are cumulative - next time he gets fined for failing to spear a QB and kicking them in the face instead, the minimum is doubled. After that, it increases at the discretion of the league. But each on-field instance is treated as an isolated incident, in terms of fines. Which means if Kiko spears five QBs, but only fined the fifth time, it's the "first offense" as fines are concerned. -

It's seems like it doesn't make sense, at first glance. But if you really think about it, you'll figure out that your first impression was right and it really doesn't make any sense. -

So stupid that they can't know the difference between "home" and "visitor?" You're not exactly maxxing out the Glasgow Coma Scale if you can't understand that. -
NFL fines Jordan Mills more than Kiko and Quinn
DC Tom replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's an official schedule of fines the NFL publishes. Mills was fined the minimum for a first-time penalty for "excessive profanity/other unsportsmanlike conduct." Kiko and Quinn were find the minimums for a first-time "striking/kicking/kneeing/face mask/late hit" (Kiko I presume for kicking, Quinn I'm not sure.) The fines were applied fairly...it's just that the rules are *****, when the fine for "excessive swearing" is less than the fine for kicking someone in the face. -

That's recent, and not too bad. Visitor locker rooms are always worse than home locker rooms, of course. Any player who judges a team as a free agent destination based on the visitor's locker room is probably too stupid to be a good free-agent signing anyway. -
Well, they did cut almost all of it in 2016. Only $18M, most of it going to...wait for it...promote democracy.
