Hot for Teacher: South Jersey style
apuszczalowski replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yeah, a woman could typically go up to a guy and say "wanna have sex" and not get shot down It's about 99% likely that if a guy walks up to a girl and says the same thing, he is called a creep or gross and gets a drink thrown in their face. If it's just sex, it's much easier for a female to get it then a guy. So it's a bit perplexing why these woman keep getting into these situations with students unless it's the taboo and danger of getting caught that they enjoy. -
I think having a crew from a central location in NY might be better financially for the league, but it would be best to have a crew in a pressbox at the stadium, they could communicate quicker to the crew on the field and would waste any more time. As for things like holds, your never going to get that fixed, theres going to always be missed calls on things like that. The most tou can hope for is them getting the obvious ones called. For spotting the ball, I'm sure it would be possible to install something like a chip in it and in the field that can track its location. They could do the same in hockey to figure out if a puck crosses the goal line (and even blue line) and in baseball for an accurate strike zone. That's always funny to see, the ref places the ball where he assumes it should be, then they bring out something to try and get an accurate read on whether that guessed location is a first down. That's like a carpenter cutting a piece of wood where he thinks it should be cut, then taking out a tape measure to see if he was correct.......

Can you imagine the catering bills for the team if this happens having Rex and Reid? Just wait until he brings Rob in as one of his assistants........ -
I said it in a previous post, each game would get a crew in house sitting up in a booth with a bunch of camera angles of the game. They have refs on the field calling the game. If someone in the booth notices something missed, they buzz down to the head ref and the clock stops. Refs could then huddle and discuss, along with the crew in the booth and decide if it should be called. There would be no more coaches challenged, and no more replay like they have it now. All of it would be eliminated by having a crew upstairs watching different views and angles on screens. It wont catch everything, and I dont think it should be used to call a penalty on someone who was completely out of the play and had no impact on it, but plays like the PI would be called from upstairs in case a ref missed it on the field. Only problem I see happening, is the game gets slowed down by a bunch more penalties being called because they may catch more, which will lead to fans being upset that the pace of play is so much slower.

But it seems weird, your a woman, even if your average looking it can't be that hard to go out and find someone to take care of that who won't cost you your job. I think it has more to do with the danger/thrill of getting caught or doing something against the rules -
I think the Rams have the best look to them, I have heard that their reliability was an issue though. I know my friend whos family has always been Ford for everything has said he wouldn't buy one again after they have had a bunch of problems with their current Fords.

You are assuming that the owners care about their team only and not the shared revenue from the league. So much revenue is shared to even things out that it doesnt really matter how well their own teams do if the league itself is making money. You might be surprised what people will do if it means they will make more money somehow......

Will you go dear me with me? -
I have soldered electrical connections Nd copper pipes, not that difficult. I just would be hesitant doing a HWT because of the natural gas connection. I'm sure I could do it, just rather not risk a potential leak or issue.....We had the boiler and water heater replaced with a combo unit/instant hot water The only thing I have not wanted to do on my own vehicle was installing a remote start. Too much wiring and potential risk to mess up.

The Saints may be a popular team, although not much more popular then most other teams in the league, but you dont think the NFL would rather have the Rams in the SB to help push their popularity and sell more tickets to their new stadium? What does the league gain with the Saints playing in the SB? It wouldnt shock me to find out the league tries to push certain outcomes, but I dont think this play was part of some conspiracy to cost them the game. It was just another example of a missed call and poor officiating. Best way to solve the problem with officiating, have a crew on the field that are in touch with a crew in a booth upstairs who are watching the game from above and can contact the guys on the field about what they see happening. Eliminate the review process they have now and just have a video crew assisting up top

Gaffigan and Birbiglia are good. I think Robin William's was better in movies and TV then a traditional stand up though. Samantha Bee is ok, but not great, because a good chunk of her act is political I can see how some might not like it. I like Trevor Noah and have watched his specials. Jim Jeffries is meh to me I dont hate him, but cant really say I like him. The only standup I have seen live that I can remember was Lewis Black who was great, and Canadian Rick Mercer, his show was alright but was mostly him just talking about stories from his TV show and showing clips. I have never been able to stand Jeselnik, his act just seems offensive to be offensive and everything is just to be shocking. I would rather listen to Daniel Tosh who can be offensive but not as much. One of my favorite standup specials was Eugene Merman 'Vegan on his way to the Complaint Store'. I also have watch John Molanys specials and thought they were pretty good, but I found his short lived TV show was horrible. I think with some, they may be funny, but more as actors in movies or TV, but not great doing traditional standup and also the opposite for others, great at traditional standup but bad in shows or movies.

There were alot of Canadian celebrity cameos in the show. I want to say they had something like 8 seasons of it, then a movie, and now it's back on a second season but as an animated show. Almost all of the main cast is back doing voices except for Emma, Brent's mom, cause she passed away a few years ago. It's funny, his dad Leroy was a popular actor on an 80s Canadian lawyer show called where he was a serious actor. Also Brent and Wanda are married in real life. Some of the actors went on after the show to star in others but they didnt last. Brent and Wanda went on to a show where she was a child story book writer with anger problems and he was her life coach. Hank went on to another show where he was a bartender in a small town who was elected mayor. Neither really last or where that great. I just heard about it on the news today too, a caterer had a go fund me page set up to help her recover lost money from helping to feed everyone that showed up. I dont remember anything about this though.... -
Depending on your options, newer trucks arent that bad, until you start going into the upgraded packages..... The only worry going used is get it looked over real good cause you dont know how the previous owner used it. Today, many people who own trucks dont need to, they just want it because they are big and think they need one, but it's never been truly used for anything other then hauling themselves around. But there are some that use them like they are supposed and more that may look great but can be well worn.

You would think he would have had them replaced using the shins of one of the fitty men he killed..... -
I try to do most things myself, but I know my limits and things i wouldnt do myself. Just last year I had a new roof put on the house, I could have done it but it's a 2 story house and for safety thought I would leave it to a pro to go up there. Had a boiler and water heater replaced, again, better a pro do that. The exterior walls of my house are concrete block, I let someone install a patio door in the back where there was no opening instead of attempting it myself, but this spring i will replace my existing front and side door myself. I have done gardens and decks outside, ran new wiring and plugs, changed fixtures, ran plumbing, drywalled, etc all before on my own. I like doing that kind of work. I used to work on my vehicles myself too, rebuilt a motor, replaced transmissions and other parts, but mostly because I owned older cars. When I bought my new truck I have had it serviced at shops, but mostly because of not wanting to void any warranties.

I agree, her act is mostly her trying to be dirty, with some holocaust and 9/11 jokes sprinkled in. I dont hate her, just find she is over rated. Schumer is similar, go on stage trying to be the cute/sweet girl who says dirty things for shock value. Lisa Lampenelli is similar as a one trick pony, her entire act is mostly about her love of Black and Gay men. We get it, you are a bigger woman who likes being a *****. Joan Rivers was similar, except her act was more about insulting others. There are good female comics, but I think there are more bad then good. I think the problem is most female comics tend to be the same, and their acts are all similar, they feel they all have to be shocking/dirty to be funny. Not that I am much of a fan of hers, but Ellen is one of the few that doesnt fit that mold. I have found Kathleen Maddigan to be pretty funny, and she also doesnt fit that mold.

If I'm not mistaken, it's not about the age and they wouldn't go after her for statutory rape, it's because of the position she was in as a teacher and the other person being a student. I believe there are some places with laws against people in certain positions (teachers, doctors, psychiatrists, etc) having relationships with students/patients of theirs because of their position of either taking care of or helping the other person. If he wasnt one of the students in her class, it's probably more of an issue that she tried to cover up and destroy evidence while they were investigating the situation I found the funniest part about this was how the article mentions in it's own paragraph how much she would be making in her position. -
I just saw this morning a Saints player saying that there is some rule that would allow Goodell the power to overturn game results. Fans need to get over it, you got screwed, nothing will be done to change it. Trust fans of Buffalo teams, nothing will be done. They wont come back and replay the end of the game, and they wont come back and just award you the win in a game you weren't already in the lead of at the time of the call.
