Who's more overrated...goff or mcvay
apuszczalowski replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont think it takes game to get a girl like her with McVays looks, good looking people dont really need game, they have the looks and will end up with someone else with looks. And are you trying to say that Wade couldnt get a girl like her because he is funny? -
That's not the point, of course I doubt BB is the type of person who is trying to help others in his staff become him or better. The point is that they say this is a teaching tool to make them better and understand the games better, but looking at the results, it doesnt seem to be helping cause once these guys step away from NE, they dont last so are they really learning anything about the game from this or is it just a better, cheaper, more efficient way for BB to get as much info and detail as he can? Maybe Chris Long does alot of charity work all over, just doesnt get as much hype and publicity as Watt raising money on Social media to help out his teams home after disasters? Who cares, I doubt either would be upset not getting the award, and either way, people, groups, areas, etc. Are getting helped

Remember the outrage earlier in the year when McDermott said that "game plan trumps talent" (or something like that)? He is getting that from seeing the Patriots and Belichek. It doesnt matter who they seem to plug in to play with Brady on BBs Patriots, they still find a way to beat you because of BBs gameplanning and schemes, or Voodoo -

Cant say I'm impressed much, looks like the typical girl you would see with a guy like him. I'd be impressed if he resembled Wade Phillip's with a girl like her.... -

It's how they upload the bug into his phone........ As for the original question, could be a little of both. McVay hasnt really done anything as a coach yet, while having one of the most stacked teams in the league and people keep talking about how great and innovative he is and teams are searching to find the next him. Goff on the other hand also hasnt won anything and everyone already seem ready to consider him a future HOFer, along with Wentz. As for the backlash on McVay for not going with Gurley, if it was something he just decided not to do, McVay is an idiot. But I can almost guarantee real soon we are going to hear the Rams come out and say Gurley has been playing with a serious injury and is probably scheduled for surgery to fix...... -
Super Bowl 2nd half Game Thread
apuszczalowski replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, just a bad game all around. It wasnt low scoring because of the defences playing great, the score was low cause the offences just could get going and get out of their own way. When there was an INT it was usually from a bad throw. -
Maybe now the story will be told on Gurley...

They will just say he was injured but not enough to warrant not playing or being out on the report, then during the game its aggravated. -

I felt going up to it that there just didnt feel like any hype going into this game. Years past all I remember going up to the game was the coverage of it and it being such a big deal. I barely recall hearing much about it leading up to today. Then the game itself was boring with no scoring, not because the defence was playing fantastic, it was because they both were just playing really badly. The best thing about the game was the halftime show, and that's not a compliment to the half time show as it was pretty bland and boring too. -

He started to really fizzle out late in the season, the last few weeks he hasnt done anything. I'm thinking he was hurt and is going to have offseason surgery..... -

Watching it too, not bad. Surprised they haven't announced the cancellation of it yet -
How much money did you spend on Super Bowl pools?
apuszczalowski replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Had they not made that last field goal I would have made $250 on a $5 square pool. -

Huge choke job by the offensive powerhouse Rams, only mustering an early field goal? -
I have always had a pro lem with their slogan around here "Blood, it's in you to give" No it's not, it's in me to live, I can spare some though

Careful With Those DNA Tests!
apuszczalowski replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Off the Wall Archives
This is a genius way for an organization to obtain DNA samples of a ton of people, and get paid for doing it! I would love to see some people take a couple of these tests, send them in and see what the results come back as. The one article talked about the twins that did it and how although they had virtually identical DNA, the results came back different. I'm sure they get most of the info close enough but not as exact or close as you would hope or expect, or could tell through a true DNA search. It wouldnt shock me if they didnt do any DNA testing and just searched the internet to get some answers for you.... -
Jussie Smallette (Alleged) Self Inflicted Hoax Assault
apuszczalowski replied to RaoulDuke79's topic in Off the Wall
I dont get people that are staging or doing things to try and make Trump and his people look bad. It's not necessary, he can do it all on his own and doesnt need help. The help only makes things worse cause it gives them something to use to prove their point that it's 'fake news' or the media making up things to take them down. Saying the were wearing MAGA hats or shouting it while beating him if not true just gives more ammo to their 'fake news' claims and makes the other side look worse. -
As long as it wasnt with one of the students, is it really something the school should be concerned with? Shouldn't there be more concern from the parents, over their kids (assuming the are minors) accessing and viewing the pornographic material? It's not like the teacher forced them to watch it, they found it somehow and had access to it.

Domestic violence would be in a case where the person you assaulted was a family member or you are in a relationship with. If it is against someone you just met or a stranger its just assault. Boys will be Boys! He was just a kid and didnt know better! She wasnt seriously injured so what was the harm? He is good at sports, he deserves many chances at redemption until he is no longer good at sports. At least he didnt do something as disgusting as kneeling during the anthem....

To be fair, Gailey and William's are good co-ordinators and mediocre Head Coaches. The head scratchers to me are Gase and Ryan who were fired and then immediately hired for HC spots by division rivals. The teams hiring them had up close encounters with those coaches twice a year and still thought they would make the best choice for them to succeed. It's not like either have won anything substantial in their HCing careers to warrant giving them the chance right away. Crossman was not great here, its surprising to see him get hired to the same job somewhere in division also.

I believe they still have to ask permission to speak with him, even though it's an unwritten rule that you dont block someone from a promotion on another club. It would allow the Bill's the chance to promote him or let him talk to them. It's also within their rights to just say no too. I dont believe there are any rules prohibiting a team from asking another team to interview someone for a lateral position, but as a franchise why would you let them do it? I dont know though, interviewing a former WR who is a QB coach to come and be your WR coach and passing game coordinator? What he he know about that? Lol I think he has also already said he isnt interested in that position. More money and better work schedule being a "private tutor/coach" then work for one team.

They all aged and are either too old or dead to continue on.......... From an entertainment perspective, the old days pre 80s was pretty boring stuff compared to today and what they are willing and able to do.

That's why it was fixed, to build the fan base by having a winner there. Is the Saints fan base going to increase if they win another SB? Probably not much more then any other established team in the league. A Championship win will spark more interest in a franchise trying to establish themselves in a new market. Disclaimer - I am not actually believing that the game was truly rigged because of this play, just stating that if it was, a win by the Rams helps the LA market and the league more then a win by the Saints (or any other established market). Of course, if it was truly rigged, we would be seeing the Rams face off against the Chargers........

Or they wont wreak havoc on him and he will be fine because he hasnt taken a beating like guys at other positions. Those were just a couple of examples of players walking away pretty healthy that didnt play in the protected QB era. Name one QB that walked away from the game and is using a Walker to get around at a younger age then they normally would be using a Walker....
