  1. Or losing your job and needing a new one.... Looks like a decent signing, but I would question why the Ravens didnt want him back?
  2. They needed someone to retire during training camp or Game 1 this year and thought they would hedge their bets with the oldest RB.....
  3. I knew It was a Trap.......
  4. I really wonder what the market is like for the leagues oldest RB and whether signing him is really going to change people's minds about coming to Buffalo.
  5. It's so much easier when you have your QB and Coach who are both considered the 'GOAT', and players are willing to come to you below market value for a chance to be on your team and win. Steelers and Packers typically build through the draft and arent as active in FA, and they are usually very good regular season teams but only have 1 SB win each......
  6. Because the Bill's picked up the leagues oldest RB, an injured TE, made an offer for AB, and overpaid for a Centre? They still have one of the leagues worst WR groups and a questionmark at QB.
  7. Are where has that gotten the Bill's? Those guys were solid players, but not game changers. 2 decent players that got the Bill's where? They had great first years here
  8. The Eagles seem to regret parting with alot of their players it seems.....
  9. Wow, he really has some insight to be able to decipher that riddle......
  10. I saw somewhere that they tried to make the Brown trade on Maddon and the game rejected it......
  11. And finding guys that are good to agree to cap friendly contracts is like finding a Unicorn or Bigfoot...........
  12. That was my first thought... I want to see him go to the Texans, just because.....
  13. But that was way after the Brady Bunch brought in the rambunctious cousin.....
  14. Because this way they can say they have a period of time before FA where they can talk before signing, move FA ahead and it wont do anything except move the date ahead, which is always the start of the 'NFL business year' The idea behind this time is to allow players to test the market before FA begins.
  15. Between agents making other deals and players talking to each other (Harper in MLB already came out and said he will recruit Trout to the Phillies), it's all ways teams can get info out about interest in players. Raiders this weekend while discussing AB mention interest in another client of the agents and he relays a message back to his client and a deal can be thrown together in minutes once both sides are known to be interested.
  16. Probably should have had these discussions a little earlier? By the time they figure out if he is worth going after, he will have a deal in place with someone else......
  17. Raiders cornering the market and overpaying for Browns?
  18. Take it with a grain of salt, but 'The Score' here in Canada just listed some of their predictions for FA this year and it included - Rosen to the Pat's for #32 - Colts (a playoff team with around $100mil in cap room to spend) sign 3 of the top FAs - Texans (a playoff team with around the 4th most money to spend in FA) spend the most - Jets strike out signing any of the big FAs and instead focus on trading back in the draft.
  19. Moolah was still doing stuff on TV in the early 2000s for WWE. Cant remember if she had recently died though....
  20. Something are just so bad, they dont need to even be brought up.....
  21. There are many people who have done this, they are called hipsters and they think it's what makes them cool and unique. TV is too low brow for them, and movies and music must be artsy indy types or else it is trash. The band is only good if others havent heard of them before or they play on front of an audience greater then 10 people....... Theres alot of crap out there today in all forms of media. But today people also expect much more out of it, not everything has to be a subtitled arthouse award caliber film.
  22. I think Parks and Recs shakeup was more with a couple secondary characters and focusing more on Pratt and Aubrey Plaza. And I also wouldnt count Fresh Prince since it was more of a secondary character and they only brought in a new actress to take over the role. I think it's a little different when later in the series a main cast member leaves and the bring in new actors as new characters to fill the void instead of just replacing an actor and having someone new take over the role. It usually only happens after and actual death of an actor, or late in a shows run when cast members want to leave to do other things or have contract disputes. Threes Company had changed the landlords and brought in someone to replace Chrissy. I'm not sure how long they were on after that. I dont remember how long Newsradio was on after Hartmans death.
  23. Rhondas recent promo, work or trying to get out of WWE? I'm leaning towards a work by the WWE, playing an angle where she is going to try to make herself out to be a 'real fighter' while the rest are actors faking it, maybe leading to a 'real' fight at wrestlemania....
