Beasley said he had offers, or atleast interest from Buffalo, New England, and the Cowboys. I dont recall any details of the other offers, but the Cowboys seem to have been already out in his opinion as he had already commented this last year about being frustrated with his role in their offence. With NE, all I had heard was they were interested, but no details on if an offer was made and for what. From what I can tell of him, he was looking for somewhere that he can expand his role and get more touches, something that wasnt going to happen in Dallas, and probably not in NE with Edelman already there.

It's simple, the Browns signed and traded for a bunch of top tier players so far and the Bill's may have signed a bunch of players too, but they weren't top tier level guys so they arent a sexy pick. The guys the Bill's signed are good, and will help this team be better, but they arent the big names that are co sided elite game changers like Odell and Hunt. Realistically, there probably the same chance that Buffalo is just as good or better as the Browns this year as the Browns superstars not meshing and the Browns being a disaster again. With those top tier talent comes alot of ego and diva mentalities.......

I dont see it being done til just before the draft starts or after they select Murray to not tip the rest of the league off as to who they draft. I believe the Giants have a second 1st rounder this year and could give them that plus a later pick. Have the deal worked out and in place, then have it announced during the draft.

I think he ends up with the Giants and sits behind Eli for a bit. The deal wont go down until sometime during or after the 1st round as the Cardinals wont want to tip off who they take at #1.

They may not have liked him enough to take him at 2, but at 17 this year that might be a move they want to make.

It depends if they view Robert's as just a return guy who can play WR if needed or a WR who can be a return guy. He sounds like he feels he is the first, a return guy who can play WR if needed.

We used to say that my grandmother could make soup from a boot and it would be great. I cant think of one that she made that wasnt good. Used to have soup before every meal. Chicken Noodle, Borscht. My favorite was in the summer she would make a soup from cherries and other fruit. You could eat it cold. Otherwise I like Wonton soup, cream of mushroom or anything thick that you can dunk buttered bread into. There was a local place that I was able to get Lobster Bisque at one time during lunch that was really good.

Yeah, every year there are less and less guys to sign that have a connection to Beane and McDermott. That is true too....

This didnt happen in the US, at least not from what I can tell by the names of where the flight took off from and landed. It's also not an invasion of privacy, unless they asked her to remove the clothing.

Well it was always made in reference to signing Bell who was expected to get alot of guaranteed money. I would assume they have some cash still floating around for smaller deals like this. Now this is the look of someone you would expect to see busted in a prostitution sting of a rub n tug......

No one gets cut yet because they wont have to. IIRC, rosters expand in the offseason so there shouldn't be a need to cut someone to fit these guys in. Unless they want to give someone the chance to sign on elsewhere, or already know they have no chance to make the team, theres jo reason to get rid of anyone.

This is probably going to be the slow down/lull of the signing period. Teams went all out to get their guys day 1 and 2 of the negotiation period, now after 4 they can start meeting and visiting with guys they are interested in, and can get better medical details on for guys recovering from injury. Things will probably go slower until the draft as teams wait to see how things fall, then start signing guys to deals to fill holes that remain.

Remember how the Bill's started the season with yet another Nate Peterman embarrassment that led them to have to start Allen before they wanted to? Yeah, that's why the media laughed at the Bill's for getting rid of Taylor so quickly......
