I think thos just makes it more likely they go heavy on defence again in the draft this year. It looks like they went heavy of the offence in FA to hopefully get it rebuilt to a point where it wont be costing them games like the last few years, while the defence will continue to get built through the draft.

Nope, and the NFL isnt going to give any sympathy, because if that's their excuse why they cant do it, the NFL will just have them relocate the franchise to somewhere that can afford the average ticket price....

I picture that as a pretty good comedy routine where the Jets call his agent and make their offer, then call back to say in interested party just made an offer (referring to the jets offer) where the Jets then make a counter. His agent calls back and says that the interested team upped their offer and the Jets up theirs again until finally they say it's too much, then his agent calls back and says good news, the other team is out and he will sign with the Jets.....

Except that when you sell out your games it's at the lowest ticket prices in the league, without any of the extra money makers like PSLs and a bunch of executive luxury boxes, your updates are minor and still font bring it up to the level of some of the other lower end stadiums, and the league doesnt care about 'sight lines'. And yes, I know some of those things, like PSLs and luxury boxes dont have as much of an effect on the league revenue as it's not all shared, but when the owners make more money, the value of their franchise is higher increasing the value of the league and other franchises.

There are just somethings that can never be explained....... With all I keep seeing and hearing about that show recently you would wonder if there was ever life before that show....

Maybe this was all part of BBs master plan? Hire him to come in for a short time then leave, making it look like he quit on them (for a good reason so he can still look good) and now the Pat's can use this as motivation next season to win again. They can rally around the fact that a coach quit on them after just taking the job and use it to motivate, like how they used not being a favorite for like the first time in over 15 years in a game was able to motivate them by believing everyone thought they were done.......

It's always closed to start the season, I dont understand why people are so shocked by this every year expecting it to be open for the start of the season. The roof is a fabric like material, and with Toronto being in Canada, where winters can be harsh, the roof has to be closed and sealed over the winter months, usually starting from October until pretty much May when the weather is nicer.

Exactly, what he really needed to do is just say sorry, thank people for their support and go away while not speaking of what happened again. He should be thanking whatever he can that he didn't end up with anything worse, and possibly see if that Subway is hiring. Sometimes you just need to realise you screwed up, got lucky things didn't end up worse, and just never speak of it again. Instead he took the route of trying to continue trying to get attention and push things further which usually makes things worse when those your continuing to piss off (the cops) are going to make things worse and get you on something else. Kind of reminds me of OJ, instead of realizing he literally got away with murder and getting out of the public spotlight to live the rest of his life free, he continued to try and get some spotlight and made things worse which lead him to jail on something stupid. The support he is getting reminds of of the support that was given to Michael Jackson, and even OJ at first where they believed he was innocent because of race. Had he been white, he would not have been given the support and they would be blaming him getting away with it on him being white and white privilege.

But is it really still a rebuild? With another high pick (possibly a good chance at Hughes) plus some FAs and re-signing Skinner, they are at the end of the 'Rebuild'. Most coaches that don't want to go through a rebuild are talking about teams at the start of it (like Ottawa). They don't want to go through the rough tear down years and wasted years of acquiring the future. This team should be on the end of the rebuild cycle and is supposed to be ready to compete. Its usually the attractive part of the rebuild because you get to be the guy putting the finishing touches on it and gets to reap the rewards of the previous guys that 'took one for the team' and was here for the messy years.....

Maybe not 60 although maybe pretty close if the owner was from another AFC East rival, but there would still be a big post if it was another owner in the league. Without any ties to NFL owners or players, it's a couple pages in 'Off the Wall' with most people posting any photos of the owner, manager, or workers asking 'Would ya?'....

Actors may welcome him back, but the exec's (producers, studios, Etc.) Wont be so eager to bring him back to roles and risk people boycotting the show/movie because of him. He wasnt very big of an actor before this, he doesnt have the star power to help him come back like bigger stars.....

So there is supposed to be video evidence showing Kraft, and others, being 'serviced' in this establishment. Charges have been laid for solicitation against him and others. Yes, everyone has the opportunity to have their day in court when charged with a crime. The DA can offer plea deals in cases to allow someone to admit guilt to a charge and save having to go to court, taking a reduced sentence for admitting guilt and not going to a trial. In this case, because solicitation isnt a major crime, they offered those charged the chance to skip going to trial. Now, having a really good lawyer (the better ones are not cheap) can help to find loopholes or ways they can try to fight in court, even something where there is video evidence of the crime being committed. Theis kind of charge is something that in most cases where the person doesnt have any priors against them, ends up with community service, fines, and in some cases a bit of jail time. They 'drag this through the courts' by fighting such a small charge hoping to get it thrown out based on some loophole/technicality instead of paying a fine and community service. Most people dont have the money like Kraft for lawyers to fight a charge like this instead of just taking a plea deal because they have video of them committing the crime.

Because no one knows who the other 199 John's are, and this is a football board where the most famous person in this bust is the owner of a football team. Why is no one talking about the other people caught up in the current college entrance scam other then the 2 actresses? I doubt it's because they have hatred for Netflix and Fuller House, but it's because they are the ones who are well known....

Most people dont have high priced lawyers who will be able to drag this through the courts and have video evidence of them actually committing the act thrown out and walk away completely free. Were they willing to offer the deal because they know their evidence us week and wouldnt stand up in court, or were they offering it so they could avoid having +/- 200 court cases for John's busted on basic prostitution charges? The sting was to bust up a self trafficking ring, the prostitution charges are just extras. Even if it went to court, as long as none of them were already registered sex offenders/had previous criminal convictions or other charges, they probably would end up with a fine and some community service. So basically they are offering these guys a plea deal to forgo taking it to trial.

I just finished Titans last night, I thought it was good, found the last episode to be a little odd the way they did it, but it was still good. Also, since I'm not familiar with alot of the DC comics stuff, who it was at the very end......

Now had you added in that they also offered to cut your bill in half for your service because of the inconvenience, I would say that it elevates it to the unicorn and Sasquatch bathing in the gold celebrating a Bill's SB victory after the Patriots franchise is forced to fold because of multiple cheating scandals and PED use dating back to the start of BB and Brady, and the league revoking their previous SB wins......
