  1. Did not know until this morning she was married to Quincy Jones and is Rashida Jones mom....
  2. Wonder if Daddy has had a say in this? "Hey Beane, I need you to spend the offseason bringing in as many TEs as you can, I will spare no expense, I think the game is heading in a direction where TE will be the prime position......"
  3. There was a sign on the door to the dollar store today saying they did not have helium, also an article about 45 Party City stores closing due to the shortage.
  4. I figured because of the amount I spent on it, and getting the 3rd year free I would go with it
  5. Yup, it's getting pretty filled up around the park, I think once the built the mall with Bass Pro it started to build up. Was just there last year and they were finishing the new coaster. Probably cost us, a family of four, without buying food in the park (you can picnic outside in the parking lot, or tailgate as that's now become legal thanks to former Crack Mayor Ford's brother.....) About $300 for the day. With the young kids we spent most of the day on the kids area and Peanuts/Snoopy Village then the overcrowded water park
  6. Well with the Jays season this year you won't need to worry about being seen by that many people....... Robbie Alomar used to live in one of those rooms when he was a Jay, also there was a famous incident where a couple were 'putting on a show for the crowd' during a game up there Good thing about a Jays game, secondary market tickets are dirt cheap and they lowered the price of many of the regular ball park type foods (they have a menu of $5 or less foods and drinks) now. Bad thing is you have to watch them play this year which hasn't been fun........ The CN Tower and Hockey Hall of Fame are close by, along with a Ripley's Aquarium and Scotia Bank Arena (Leafs arena) that can have concerts going on. Depending on when your there, there's the Molson Stage at the old Ontario place that might have a big concert going on. There are a couple of breweries you can do some good tours of in that area too. You used to be able to go by Much Music and see them broadcasting inside, but now they are basically MTV and they only show MTV shows all day. There's a large theatre block with big theatre Broadway productions if your into that. If your lucky you may be able to catch some fans still lined up waiting for the Leafs Cup parade to come by........ (They may allow the Raptors to borrow their parade plans this year though). You could try and track down the new House Drake is building in the area. That's going box office Go secondary market and they are almost giving them away this year. Unless you want to sit near Geddy Lee or the Old Lady behind the plate, they aren't cheap......
  7. Pay extra to do the sky walk thing where you get to walk along the roof...
  8. Lol, nope, not this guy. He was really smart and one of the top students in our highschool grades wise, went on to be an engineer, he was just the type of person to analyse things deeply. I don't think anyone was injured, but his parents old car that he bought from them had to be scrapped. Funny thing is he was hit a few years later at university on a parking lot, again no injuries (and I believe no tool). He drove the car back home about an hour away and I later bought it and fixed it on my driveway and drove it for a few more years. That's funny cause when we were in Arizona my wife was pregnant too (if not we would have been at an all inclusive resort for our honeymoon). I'm not a wine drinker, so I would have only wanted to go to see the place and get a bottle as a souvenir for home.
  9. Years ago I bought a used car and purchased a warranty package for it for something like $800 extra. You had to have oil changes done at certain points at garages that would stamp a card you send to them to verify it was done regularly. Of you didn't have them done at a certain time or didn't send in your card, the warranty would be void. I had issues with the vehicle and took it in to get it looked at expecting to getwhatever wasn't working replaced. Come to find out later on that the warranty would not replace parts unless they were physically broken. If it wasn't physically broken, it wouldn't get replaced. I don't usually get extended warranties, although I did recently at Best Buy when I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro and they offered a deal to get 3 years coverage at the price of 2.
  10. I umpired baseball when I was around that age and tossed a few parents because of their mouths. I also walked off the field in my last game because of an argument over the time length for the game. I played also and the league I was in had a 2 hour curfew for games. I called the game based off of time and curfew, they tried to argue that the league of younger kids didn't have a curfew. As I was going to my bike to leave the field, I had coaches and parents basically calling me a baby, saying I had to "get home to mommy". Last game I did, wasn't worth the $15 to do it. I found the travel/select teams were always the kids whose parents had money and their friends. Your parents had to be part of the group to get in. I also hate going into stores when they have the travel hockey teams fundraising outside for their team. Maybe if they didn't have to spend their money on custom clothing, and stickers with the 8 year olds number for their car they could afford everything they need without fundraising
  11. It came out that a sequel with the original cast was in the works, some rumors say it may have already been filmed when the news broke there was going to be a sequel
  12. I could be wrong cause apparently there have been many explanations that were said to be incorrect for 46&2, but I read somewhere it refered to the next stage of evolution, and was in reference to genes and chromosomes? Or something like that, doesn't matter to me cause it's just an amazing song. I had a friend in highschool, we went to go see them on the Lateralus tour, my friend taught piano locally and was into alot of music theory. One night he was driving home listening to tool and was tboned going through a red light, said he was distracted listening to it and analyzing the music and timing of their songs.
  13. I think having to hear about someone else's bad golf game, or their golf game in general, or seeing golf on tv makes brains shrink......
  14. I think James Iha joined on their last album, there were issues last year with touring because he was in both bands and both were going to tour. Never knew Maynard was a military vet. I wanted to visit his winery in Arizona when I was there on my honeymoon years ago, we drove from the grand Canyon to Scottsdale for part of it. I wanted to find out where it was and try to get a bottle. He is hardcore with the wine, they said he would schedule touring around the wine season so he could be around And Enter Sandman is Metallica..... That's the joke. Notice he said may to July possible release date but no year? Lol
  15. I hear it's simple, just walk into the hospital and tell them your a life long fan of Buffalo Sports teams, and not from Buffalo......
  16. To be fair, remember when the Bill's were supposed to be tanking 2 years ago and they ended up in a wildcard spot?
  17. In some cases it might be the exact same product, in others it could be the 'bottom of the barrel/vat' or stuff that for some reason doesnt meet their product standard but is still good for consumption, instead of just throwing it out, its packaged as a no name/store brand product and sold for less.
  18. Well that's only cause they arent smart enough to know we are making fun of them! I kid, I kid..... The media found people that were offended, but these days it's usually the vocal minority and people who have no ties to whomever should be offended that get offended the most by it......
  19. Yup, they had the same thing around here too, I think they changed it recently up here cause the last time I was there I think it was different. I have heard that too, the big name brands will package product in another label for stores, it's usually their 2nds or stuff that dont exactly meet the standards of their big name brand stuff. (Like the frozen vegetables might be smaller then what you would get in the name brand)
  20. That's vandilisum, the police should have been called and lock him up. Thanks Jimmy for getting this all on video.....
  21. I always thought it was a game of 'yards' The players must be super tiny if the lines are based on inches......
  22. Rosen makes the Dolphins better. Those believing he is trash and think Allen is a rising superstar, they had similar stats last year and the Cardinals were one of the worst teams in the league. Just like Allen, time will tell how good they can become, and the big difference was that Rosen was viewed as a bust because of higher expectations while Allen was viewed as great because of the low expectations everyone had outside of Buffalo of his success. The Dolphins are still a mess and will be last in the division, but they wont be a pushover fighting for one win all season. The Bill's and Jets will be the middle teams with possibly one of them getting a WC birth but where they end up (2nd or 3rd) could be a toss up, but I think the Bill's have the advantage as they wont be implementing new system and new coaching. As for the Patriots, until they show otherwise, the AFC East is theirs as of now. But the Dilphins being a WC team and 2nd in the AFC East? That's alot of dreaming and freak things happening to the rest of the division.......
  23. No, and that's not really a spoiler because many have sequels and stand alone movies or TV shows coming out soon.
  24. The only 'spoiler' I had going in from a guy I work with was there was no end credits scene, so you dont have to stay for it.
