I could actually see contracts adding that clause in worded that exact same way in the future -
Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS
apuszczalowski replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he means that if Brown could live with Mayocks discipline and rules, how would he live with BBs that is apparently much more strict. Personally I think that many can live with BBs discipline/rule because it can usually lead to a championship. He was in Oakland for the money, NE can give him the chance to win while showing others he can play nice. Sometimes guys like him need the harder discipline to change then a place that might be more LAX like Oakland. If players see that they can run the show like it looks like there, they tend to take more advantage of it and assume they should get their way. -
OK - why the h#ll do we not have a new punter?!?
apuszczalowski replied to Bockeye's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Apparently they tried for one but on his way he changed his mind and went to the Vikings. Then they brought in 3-4 punters for tryouts this week and didn't sign them. The position seems to be something they are looking at but don't feel the available options are better. There's also the greatest punter ever available (seems like it by how he is talked about here) that the Patriots cut that's also been on the market for a while that no one has signed yet. -
I think the majority are saying it doesn't upset them and they wouldn't care, just that it's hypocritical that a 'racist term' (it is racist cause it's meant to be a derogatory term based on a person's skin color) is ok against someone who's white. Most blacks don't seem to have an issue with a certain word as long as it's not spoken from someone who is white....

I guess they would be experts on being able to determine if he did or not, they have plenty of experience in it..... Or they figure if they keep cutting guys who do it they won't have anyone left?

Patriots cut Russell Bodine
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What's he going to tell them, Josh's hands aren't as soft or gentle as Brady's were.... Beane has done this a few times, remember the WR last year from the Browns? -
Something about disrespecting his couch and another about a certain drug and its effect?

Chicago's offence crapped the bed. GBs defence is nothing special and hasn't really had to do much. Rodgers had one good drive where they scored. This appears to be one of the wonderful week 1 crapfests as teams are still working on gelling and getting the rust off (something teams and players used to be able to do before they negotiated all these rules to protect players from practice)

This I think is the biggest mistake coaches make, not tailoring their systems to the players they have. You don't go 'dink & dunk' with a QB who can air it out deep and has a knock of not being horribly accurate. You start finding fast WRs who can get down field and get them the ball. Just like you don't take a weaker armed QB and put them into a 'greatest show on turf' air it out offence.

1st, I think we may have had some front office/coaching staffs that may have thought of using OJ as a decoy..... (Might be a good offence though, imagine going out on defence and seeing OJ just standing there, maybe with some gloves and nice shoes?) 2nd, you still disrespected the great white WRs by not including Beebe and Hogan.....
