Nah, I just a chipping wedge and a light breeze and they will be ducking for cover -
Pats* release Antonio Brown
apuszczalowski replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think so, he has been pretty quiet and good since joint them I think it has more to do with the recent allegations made against him. On Monday the league spoke to one of the accusers, another allegation came out later this week. I think the Pats have been notified that he was going to be facing some discipline so they got out of the deal. -

Seeing as how most of these allegations were being made at the time of the signing, or if they would have held off a few hours from him being released, they knew about it in advance andso far he hasn't done anything else to add to what was coming out at the time he signed...... -

I think this almost guarantees that now -

Nah, drive them the other way and see if you can hit a soldier in the fort. -
But what's the tailgate situation like at home? If you drink that much in a stadium parking lot you're a 'hardcore fan', drink that much on your couch and you're an 'alcoholic'.....

Has the NFL tested the 'stone' she makes him wear around his neck or the droplets she gives? I think I know what might be in them.......

In some cases it matters and people care because they put down good money to attend games, and sponsors and TV. Stations put up good money to be represented by a team and to show the NFL product.. A competition committee can be involved because a team throwing a season away lowers the competition, the league also prides itself on 'Any given Sunday' and that in the NFL there always a chance your team could win.

But that's the problem, the teams need the new billion dollar stadiums to get people to the games. The idea now is that you don't have to go to the stadium to just watch the game, they have other things to do along with areas for you to socialize while the game is on and your out with your friends. The stadium is now also an area to spend time at after the game with restaurants and bars. They don't want the places anymore where you go to the game, and once it's over you hop back on a train or in your car and go home.

It would be talked about how genius of a move it is for them to do it..... As for Miami, it's almost impossible to prove they AREN'T tanking/wasting this season. Of course there is no actual rule saying you have to try to win every game, so technically they aren't doing anything illegal. The only way to penalize them would be loss of draft picks, but then there would have to be a specific rule in place for them to have broke (unless they go after them and say they are throwing games due to gambling) To prevent it, the league needs to do like the rest and have a lottery draft so the worst record doesn't guarantee the top spot. And if they really want teams to avoid it, get rid of the way other sports weigh the odds based on standings. Just say if you don't make the playoffs your in the draft lottery and let all teams have the same odds. You will get rid of the idea that some people have that the draft rewards failure and teams will atleady try to put winning teams on the field

Won't happen, isn't the majority owner of the Dolphins one of Trumps big supporters? Last thing the majority of the wealthy old white guy club that is the NFL owners group wants is to piss off their best buddy and risk losing tax breaks........ Can risk angering the trailer trash seeing a mixed race man take a knee during a song that they are proudly standing for while waiting in the beer line or taking a leak at the urinal.......

Its not Flutie Flakes but dang delicious....

I think all teams are getting this. Went to the store on my lunch at work and they had Packers bags -
Daniel Jones - new starting QB for the Giants
apuszczalowski replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can argue he isn't a first ballot HOFer, but there's no argument that he will be in the HOF soon after he is retired. -
It's funny, last week everyone was saying how you don't take the Pats in that game because they were like 0-5 against such a large spread, the Dolphins play them hard, etc. This week attitudes have changed and betting whatever against the Dolphins is becoming a safe bet, lol By the time the Bills play the Dolphins either they won't take bets on the game for fear of losing to much or the Bills could be favored by 30+ Imagine a Dolphins/Jets game right now.....

No way he gets traded to backup someone and no way he gets traded to a team to fill in for a few weeks Both Jets and Saints have their starters coming back in a few weeks, they won't waste picks to get Eli for a couple weeks. Colts & Steelers both have young guys who could be their futures with Brissett and Rudolph, only way they trade for him is if they don't believe in those guys to lead them. Jacksonville is a possibility because they don't have much experience in that position now and they did try to upgrade the position going into the season but then lost him right away. Coughlin knows him well and could try to bring him in to get an experienced veteran starter to save their season. -
Man, Great weekend for some Money Line Plays

Next week is tough, are the Bengals this year the team from week 1 or week 2? Are the 49ers really as good as they looked yesterday? The Bills have been up and down against 2 teams that may not be that great. 6 points is tough next week -
Adam Vinatieri might be retiring

You haven't been watching the NFL lately if you think it's so easy to plug in a capable replacement and not miss a beat. Go talk to Bears fans about kickers. Vikings and Jets tried to do the same thing just plugging someone. There's a reason why good kickers can keep steady work with the same team well into their 40s today -
Probably that he didn't have a bad game, the receivers let him down and the coaching staff were idiots who called bad plays. Allen's been pretty good so far but saying he is better then Wentz might be a little premature right now. Allen has barely played a full seasons worth of games in the league so far.

This is why the hardcore gamblers get screwed and the people picking games based on colors or mascots or logos end up occasionally winning big. The hardcore guys will look at the stats and history and use it to make their bets, talking themselves out of decisions because of info like this. The more casual fan looks at the game and knows the Pats are really good and the Dolphins look really bad and make their bet that way. The Dolphins are historically bad so far this season, most teams they play this season will beat them by double digits. -
Losing either is a big blow to their team but both teams are not completely screwed. Pittsburgh has a potential starter in Rudolph who they recently drafted and could be Ben's replacement while the Saints have Bridgewater who they believe could be a replacement for Brees. Even in Indy, Luck retired but they already had someone who was looked at as a potential starter behind him. None of those guys look like or are projected to be Elite top tier guys, but they could end up all as decent starters that can lead good teams.

I didn't realise he was that old
