He will definitely survive this year unless they get blown out of every remaining game they have this year. But yesterday wasn't some outlier, it's what we have seen from them all year except it wasn't against a bad team so they couldnt just come back at the end.

You also don't throw away opportunity just because you don't think your a SB favorite. Winning breeds winning. Just getting this team into the playoffs and having a chance can do wonders for them in building a future winner. Talk to players after the season and many will tell you it helped when their GM made a move and showed confidence in them to try and put them over the top.

The defence isnt the problem here. In today's NFL you aren't going to win regularly by holding an opponent to under 20 points. You need to be able to score on offence and keep scoring. They have an offence that can be good enough to win them games that the offence can score in. This offence needs. To put points on the board throughout the game and keep the D from being pressured to having to be perfect all game.

It was always expected he would be out til close to their by week which is next week. They didn't want to rush him back and they expect him to be back after their bye next week

Maybe he really wants to win comeback player of the year awards? Probably figures if he can't get a SB, maybe he can win that one a bunch of times?

He's barely within 5 yards of his WRs when he goes deep As for what to make a move for, this team desperately needs players to improve the offence and score more points. If they had a chance to score 20+ points a game they don't need the defence to be lights out to have a chance to win the game.

But 31 points is also 2 weeks of point production from this offence too

Will this be a good thing though? Allen has arm strength and is usually overthrowing his WRs deep, having the wind slow the ball down a bit throwing into it might help him more?
