If I'm the Bears I would be on the phone right now trying to get him. He wasn't the problem in Cincy and is being pushed aside because they have given up on the season. Replacing Trubisky has to be a priority for them unless they plan on throwing another season away. Include him in the deal to Cincy to help them take over the #1 spot in the tank race......

If the Bills had Upgrades to their offensive skills positions that would be a threat to score more which would help take the pressure off the defence having to be perfect all game and would make the defence better. They wouldn't have to worry that a small mistake could cost them big because they won't be able to get the points back. The idea of having a dominating defence to carry a team isn't happening anymore, offences are going to score on even the best defences and you need to be able to keep up with your opponent. NEs defence isn't an all time best like some are trying to say they are, they look much better cause they have an offence that scores points and they aren't on the field all game cause the offence can't stay on it

No move today is going to put them to the top as favorites against NE or SF, but an impact player may move them from 'not a real 5-2 team' to 'possible tough playoff team'. Making the playoffs (without a fluke play by another team) on their own and having confidence that they won't be one and done like the last time will go much further to develop this team then a couple more 3-5 the rounders added to the roster and waiting again til next year to see progress

The problem.is everyone wants to build some super dynasty team like the Pats and the belief is it can only be done if you use all your picks in the draft and are given time. What they need to do is take advantage of what they have now and build on it. Make the playoffs this year and you are viewed as a team on the rise, players gain experience and confidence and the Bills become slightly more attractive to good FAs. Making a splash today shows the team that management has confidence in them this year of doing something and that they are looking to win now. No one is saying to go and throw their entire draft out to go get a rental player, but using some picks to get an impact player or 2 now isn't going to hurt them and the future

Yup, right now they need perfection from the defence to have a chance, the offence is struggling to score but if they were a bit improved, then the defence not being perfect is a big concern cause they aren't also carrying the offence.

I could see it, Yeldon would be the odd man out with Gore and Gordon as the top guys and Singleterry coming in as a change of pace guy. And for those worried about touches, they would probably rely more on their running game if they made this move and maybe less designed calls for Allen to run

I think if they (or anyone else) make a move for Norman, he is a throw in salary dump as part of another deal. They may take a little less for Williams but require Norman being part of the deal too

The same can be said for the others, that they are so desperate to have a franchise QB that they will continue to make excuses and lower the bar to justify anointing him a franchise QB.

To be fair, BB has built up enough equity to have some bad games or stupid decisions and get to keep his job...... This isn't just one bad game, they have been like this all year, but they were playing bad teams and getting really lucky that those games ended up as wins.

But they have Johnson who is only supposed to be out for 2 weeks and Edmunds who had a huge game last week. Plus they are not in a playoff position. Yet the Bills should be happy with a 35 year old Gore, a rookie 3rd rounder they don't want to give the ball to much, and Yeldon.....

Yeah, I thought for some odd reason they weren't going to review the TD (which I believe all scores are reviewed automatically). This would explain it that they are saying the play will not be reviewed based on the challenge flag being thrown .
