What else would he be refering to when he says "You people who come here...."? I guess maybe he could be talking about the people who come into the Coach's Corner studio to the Kraft foods table done has set up with Milk and Honey... And who said anyone was assuming Brown people? Maybe people are assuming Asian? And he wasn't fired because of just this one comment, he has had years of cringe worthy, offensive comments that he has made throughout his career, this was just the latest one that they decided would be it for him. The world is so divided today that of course networks and media will act upon things like this harsher then before because it only fuels the hatred and division already out there.

That's the problem, if he would have directed to the fact that Canadians in general appear to be less supportive cause they wear poppies less then before, he would be making a good point. I believe it's cartoon network in the US? And it's a cartoon so I don't believe you have to watch it in any order. I have watched it a bit and didn't really care either way for it. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, but wouldn't refuse to watch it if I had nothing else to watch.

His rant was that he says he doesn't see them wearing a poppy (a plastic red flower and pin, usually offered by veterans or young cadets outside stores for donations that's been a symbol here for those who served in the military) and takes offence believing that because of they aren't wearing one they don't respect what our veterans did in the wars. Meanwhile people have been saying poppy wearing appears to be down even more this year as some are saying they aren't seeing anyone offering them around as much anymore and when they do, they only have larger bills and no change to give. Had he not singled out immigrants/refugees in the rant, there wouldn't have been an issue, but he singled them out as being the problem because he says they are coming here and not respecting something they may not have known about. I have to say that this year, I have probably seen the most advertisement on TV for a Remembrance Day then I can ever remember. They have really tried to push it more this year, possibly because they have noticed a decline in people taking time to care on that day and many of the soldiers that were always honored were from WWI & WW2 and have passed away. In the last few years I have even heard more complaints as the Christmas season has pushed closer and closer and now past it. My MIL put up her Christmas tree and indoor decorations a couple days before Halloween, my wife had to put ours up this weekend. As a kid at my house Christmas never started until after your Thanksgiving (not our in October), and our tree went up 1-2 weeks before and came down early January after the Ukranian Christmas. Now everything is going up the day after Halloween and is put away the 26th of December.

Exactly, this was just the final straw for them. I weep more for the future because of the people defending him and how this whole world is turning on each other. Everyone is becoming so divided and it's just getting worse every day.

I think it's also cause he is doing a big tour next year and is someone who could fill a football stadium for a show. Surprised it's not Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift though....... My wife's half sister out west was trying to go see him this summer and couldn't get tickets locally, closest spot she could get to see him was about 8-12 hours away in another province. She posted online about it and how she couldn't get a hotel cause they were all booked, so a radio DJ in the city where he was playing saw it and said she could stay at her place and go to the show where they also got upgraded seats from the radio station.

I don't think it's novel or new, I think it's just that it's the first time it's been really caught and prosecuted.

I think he needs to use that skill to jump over the pile, I believe it's still allowed as long as he doesn't use someone to push off of. He could use his skills as a long jumper to hurdle the lines and get to the kicker!

But from every impression I have ever had of the 2, it's not really like that cause Beane is on the same page as McD and they are both looking for the same things and have the same beliefs/philosophys. I don't think that it wasnt designed that the Bills were going to get both guys out of the same organisation , I think that's what they wanted and why they planned it, but there may have been contractual issues as to why they didn't hire both at the same time.

So far he has looked like he could be a good starter in the league (like a Marriotta or Tannehill, maybe a Cousin's) but not a Franchise guy at this time (like a Rogers, or Brees). I would say between those 2 levels is one more which would be a really good starter who needs a little help to get the team to the next level (Like a Stafford, or Ryan, or Rivers), a guy who can't do it all on their own but aren't the reason why their team is bad. I doubt he ever gets to the top level of elite Goat though (Brady & Manning)

I don't think it will come down to this because I don't think there's any kind of rift between the 2 where it would have to be one or the other. If the Bills feel they need to make a change, they would probably dump both because of their connection, or they would look at what the issue seems to be (lack of talent = GM, Poor play = Coach) and chose one or the other based on that. Because they have had some success so far, they will get atleast one more year to prove themselves before they even start thinking of replacing either of them. The Pegulas have been convinced that they would need to be patient with a slow rebuild to get a consistent winner and wont make quick decisions on them.

I don't think you are going to lose a lockeroom that suffered only it's first loss of the season. I would say that going for the win might help increase the lockerooms attitude towards you by showing you have faith in them to get the win instead of just trying to get a tie.

Except that these 2 guys work well together and may have been a package with McD wanting Beane as the GM here. I think from the hiring of McD that they had always planned on Beane as the GM but couldn't hire him when they hired McD. This wasn't ownership forcing the 2 together. These 2 guys seem to be on the same page when it comes to what they want

Like everything in the league, if it works, teams will follow until it doesn't. Look at the Wildcat offence, no one used it until Miami tried it out one game and then everyone tried to copy it for themselves.

I don't think it is possible because it's not McDs style, he is a defensive coach who thinks defence wins games. Beane is on the same page as him and IIRC they both said this offseason they realized they needed to upgrade the offence too, and this is what we got...... I don't see them getting that change with a different OC because McD isn't likely to do it, and Beane won't make a change without McDs advise and approval, they work together.
