  1. Gone, but never forgotten..... Well maybe Lynn will be forgotten, he hasn't really done anything memorable except for taking over for Rex.........
  2. I think this game will be an ugly defensive slugfest that isn't going to be good for NBCs ratings I think both defences will be tough and the score will be in the teens for both teams. Its 50-50 to me who wins this game. I'm more confident they win in NE then I am them winning in Pittsburgh right now
  3. I agree, but I think the same about the Bills offence being able to do enough against Pittsburghs defence. The only problem i have seen from this defence is that they are getting turnovers and scoring many points. So even if they hold Pittsburgh to a low score, Can the offence score enough to win against a really good defence? I'm thinking this is going to be an ugly game for Prime time, it will be a low scoring defence slugfest kinda game, probably neither team scoring over 20 I wonder how much the weather helped make him look more ordinary? The wind was making it tough to throw, Last week they weren't as explosive either playing in the rain against SF who have a very good defence too.
  4. But they also may have held on to Flacco and worked with him instead of making the switch to Jackson. Still a smart move recognizing that their offence wasn't going to work with LJ and moving on to someone who could work with his skillset.
  5. The thing is, the defence still won those games for them (well except for maybe Miami, but they are giving up alot of offence to the other team, Fitz just has their offence keeping them in games) They scored the average of what Denvers defence has been giving up all year in a game where their defence didn't look great and scored a little bit more then what the Cowboys defence has averaged giving up all year too. I think it was more impressive what the defence was able to do in those games then the Offence which in its best games, appears to be barely above average
  6. I would say I would expect 11 wins Assuming they beat the Jets the last week, I have more confidence in them beating the pats in 2 weeks then I do of them beating the Steelers (a game I think may be a toss up with Pittsburghs defence). I actually think it may be more likely they beat NE then they do the Jets right now.
  7. It would be so Billsy to end up losing out, then having Dalton throw a TD pass to win a game week 17 to give another team a tie breaker over them.......
  8. Its just more excusable or acceptable when you have built up the cred like the top guys have and its something that occurs only 1-2 times a year, while the rest of the time your carrying the offence
  9. I think this is the offence The few times that they have looked good were against a couple very bad teams (Denver was bad and their offence was VERY bad and couldn't stay on the field which killed their defence) They are going to struggle to score 20+ points against good teams and rely on the defence getting some points for them or being able to shut down the opponents offence to win.
  10. The defence did a great job, the offence not so much
  11. I would think if they finish really strong with Luck it might make it hard to fire him, but I have heard the rumors too that he isn't popular and the FO has soured on him which could lead to him getting canned no matter what
  12. Right now I can see the Bills being able to upset the pats IF the defence can play harder in the 4th quarter and keep them from trying to come back (hoping the Bills go into the 4th having a lead..... They beat the earlier season Titans which appear to be a different team then the new Tannehill Titans Rams an GB would be favorites to beat the Bills, but have the occasional bad weeks that they could be beaten, same with the Vikings. The rest would probably take a fluke or a really bad game by them to lose to the Bills right now. I would almost want to add the Bears to that list, If Mitch has turned the corner, they have a defence that makes them a very good team. Going into next season though, who knows what could happen
  13. I don't know anyone who said they couldn't though The thing is that guys like Brady, Wilson, Brees, and the other top tier guys have built up enough equity over the years that a bad game is viewed as just having an off game because they have consistently shown they can be great and the off games are rare
  14. He may just squeak by this season if Lock has them winning out, but he probably starts next year on the hot seat I don't think so, They were still losing with Stafford (albeit close loses) but now they just don't look interested in playing anymore and may have tuned him out. The defence (supposed to be his specialty), hasn't looked special at all, I wouldn't be surprised to see them make an attempt at one of the bigger name guys getting let go this offseason
  15. The Giants are rumored to be wanting Garrett if the Cowboys fire him, and the Cowboys will be firing him (they may do it even if he wins the SB....) I think the Lions fire Patricia, they don't seem to be playing for him anymore, it looked good to start the year when they looked close to beating a bunch of teams, but now they just don't look lie they are making an effort The jets will use injuries as their reasoning for Gase getting another year I think Jacksonville will but I think that entire organization needs to be blown up and started over Cleveland might also, they have been a huge disappointment and they appear to have a poor lockeroom that isn't being controled, seems like its a big Frat House there I think the Chargers move on from Lynn, they probably start a complete rebuild too and move on from Rivers I'd say Chicago is more likely to move on from Mitch then they are from moving on from their HC, now that Mitch is playing much better I think both are around next year if he keeps playing like he has the last couple weeks.
  16. I saw this coming, FF playoffs and I have the Seahawks Kicker and Wilson starting. I may lose this week by the biggest margin of the entire year (I'm currently in the 30's, my manager is over 110 points right now, Just glad I didn't trash talk this week......)
  17. They are just as likely to take a step back this offseason as they are to take the next step forward. They had an easy schedule this year and haven't beaten anyone better then them yet. They need to take advantage of this year and go far, then hope they make the right moves this offseason to keep things going. Every team in the offseason is looking to get better and many will. Seeing them keep it close against one of the leagues best teams is good, but it means nothing after this season is over.
  18. Thats a very good team in Baltimore with a great front office. They didn't do like everyone else and try to make their rookie QB conform to the offence they would like to have, they designed their offence to their QBs strengths and its worked wonders. They also have one of the top defences (like usual in Baltimore) and thats helping them be one of the favorites in the AFC. Who knows how long it will last though. but I think that the Baltimore FO is smart enough that they will be a step ahead if things start to turn sour there. I think one of the changes people will need to get used to in the league is that its getting tougher and tougher to have a perennial contender like NE, NO, and a few others have. Teams seem to be getting hot, then cooling off quickly. Chiefs, Rams, Eagles, Texans, etc. get hot for a year or 2 then come back to earth and are beatable again. Its getting harder to find that franchise QB who will keep you at the top for 10-15 years
  19. They lost to a much better team today, as expected. They kept it closer then many thought What this game (and most of this seasons) showed is that they have a defence to compete with almost anyone, and an offence that is not. The only weakness I have noticed on defence is that they don't generate alot of takeaways. The offence relies heavily on the defence needing to keep the score low and being able to squeak out wins scoring less then 20 points. If the defence struggles and teams start to score, its likely over because the Bills offence isn't good enough to beat anyone in a shoot out. Hopefully this offseason more is done to get the offence more playmakers and get them into the 21st century with an offence that can compete in a shootout.....
  20. I wasn't surprised that KC won, I thought it was funny this week that NE was the favorite. Their offence has been bad, atleast until lat in the 2nd half when they start to mount a comeback. They really seem to be missing Gronk and the current group of Receivers aren't meshing with Brady.
  21. Divisional games....... I swear those games no matter whos playing (except Bills/Pats) always end up closer then they should have beenI think its because teams in the same division build their teams to beat each other rather then other teams in the league. The Seahawks go into the offseason building their team to beat the 49ers, rams and Cardinals, Not NE or Baltimore or NO
  22. I could see the Bears if Trubisky goes back to how he was playing a few weeks ago, right now he looks like he may have turned the corner though....... I can't see the Jags doing it unless they can do a straight swap of Cam for Foles. They spent alot on Foles and I doubt they have the room to absorb the cap hit cutting him or making him a backup. I think they draft someone early if they don't believe the pornstar is going to be their guy.....
  23. I think they are refering to the first round......
  24. Check eBay afterwards, it's usually how I get bobbleheads or other giveaways for my collection. Im usually willing to pay up to what I would have paid for a game ticket.
  25. There was a recent article talking about the relationship between Finn and Poe and how they should have made them a couple. It does mention that there are 'non-hetero' characters that were added. I just assumed they were gonna finally announce what we have all known for years about C3PO......
