  2. well, then of course its ok, if wolves are in season, because that would be hunting if you pulled a gun onto a wolf parent who was a deadbeat. It would also be amazing that your wolf parent was able to teach you to use a gun. And in that case, man you must really not be wanted if your human parents abandoned you, and the wolf parents that took you in ended up being deadbeats.
  3. But you don't understand, Fowler is so horrible that anyone in the draft would be a complete upgrade, the only one player in the league worse then Fowler in the league is Preston, who happens to be a backup to him. Man I wish the bills could have grass like the other teams fields in the league
  4. Because its not what civilized people do
  5. Actually, i'm just trying to understand how in one case, you can't even say that a guy could use some anger management counsiling and sweep everything under the rug, after an article in the paper comes out saying he had an arguement with his father, and "allegedly" pulled out a gun (and how he is innocent until proven guilty, and anything saying he did it is an assumption since no one was there), yet BB should be fired/suspended/banned and SB wins should be reveresed because "allegedly" a former employee had video of them filming another teams walk through and had all this footage that would show he is a cheater.
  6. But does any of that really excuse him ? Just because you have had a hard life, it doesn't excuse anyone from making bad judgement calls, or to use violence against another. A mature, intellegnet person, with a very bright and rich future infront of them doesn't use that as an excuse to do stupid things, and possibly put themselves into a situation where they could do the same to their own children. And I'm not just talking about Hardy, i'm talking about anyone who has had a rough childhood. Bright people use that situation and grow/learn from it Having deadbeat parents is not an excuse to carry a weapon and "allegedly" pull it out during an arguement, where no other weapons were drawn.
  7. Well, as long as you guys aren't assuming anything and not passing judgement on him til he is proven guilty of it.....................
  8. I think I still have mine. I know I still have my old lego's, but I only had a couple of the playmobil stuff. I think I had a small Cowboys and Indians set, and a gas station with a Car and a Jeep
  9. Like go to a family get together where he would be attending? I don't get what everyone is flipping out about in the other post and going after anyone that isn't blindly defending him. No one (ok, there have been one or 2) is saying he should go to jail, be banned, sent to prison, or released by the Bills and have his NFL career cut short because of this. The only thing people have said is that it shows poor judgement on him if he pulled his gun out on his father during a heated arguement, if his father was unarmed and he was not in a situation where he feared for his life. Some, including me, have only said that if he pulled a gun out in this situation, he should be seeking counsiling for anger management, because it seems like he may have a problem, and no one wants this guy to end up doing something that could put his career in jeopardy in the future. He is a Pro Athlete now and is going to be in the spotlight and make lots of money. He is going to have to be careful with his decisions, and stay out of situations that could end up showing poor judgement by him. If he feels the need to have to carry a gun to a family get together, maybe its somewhere that he should stay away from because it could show bad judgement on his part. Flame away about how I'm a moron just making assumptions and how he is innocent until proven guilty
  10. It did in Canada, I had some when I was a kid, and remember going into a couple stores where they carried them.
  11. Only that he was taping opposing teams signals, which they later had to clarify in the rules But now people have been assuming that he has done this his entire career, possible against Buffalo in the SB, and against the Rams. The NFL never penalized him for breaking the rules in those games
  12. What are you talking about? I'm agreeing with the rest of the crowd, I have now seen my ways and was just posting the many reasons why he is inocent, although I should also add at the end that he is a Buffalo Bill.
  13. What did the guy do that was so wrong? He was off on the side of the road, only some guy that drove by has said that he was attacking is wife (how credible can he be driving by?) and if he had a concealed weapons permit, whats the big deal? Seriously though, I watched it from 7 til the end, channel 7 had the best quality looking video (were they filming in HD?) but I found channel 4 had the best coverage of it. I loved watching the parents bringing their kids out to watch and stand along the road.
  14. No he wasn't, there was no gun, he was just putting it down because he didn't want it to go off during a fight, he didn't point it at anyone, his father was a deadbeat and he was in prison while he was growing up, he had a permit so its fine, his father was threatening so he feared for his and his families safety, no crime was committed cause the police decided not to press charges, nothing happened because the story is coming from an old lady who lived next door............
  15. Are you assuming he is guilty based off of what the media is reporting? And not giving him the benfit of the doubt since you were not there first hand and don't have any credible evidence to base your decision on?
  16. When has he ever been in trouble? He had a girlfriend who enjoyed wrestling with him and a kid who likes to destroy phones. Now we have blind 73 year old woman making up stories about guns at a mothers day parties, and impecable credibility of a dead beat dad who spent time in prison, with a son who is about to cash in All misunderstandings
  17. But none of us were there in NE so we don't have any proof those videos were ever used by BB to cheat! Who made any of us judges in this? You can't judge him until you have facts, or were there when he did it.
  18. Go up a couple posts NDirish1978 - "Deadbeat Dad, screw him" and there have been others who seem to think its ok that he may have pointed a gun at his father because he wasn't father of the year. Saying that he probably should be seeking counsiling or anger management for pulling out a gun during an arguement where, according to the report he pulled out a gun during a heated arguement, and having a prior incident of a domestic dispute with a girlfriend and child now is wrong?
  19. Should they really put a #11 pick out on the field to play defence at CB? those guys get hurt all the time too Injuries happen, although I can't say that I remember hearing about alot of kick returners getting hurt running back kicks, or not more than any other position on the field. Injuries are a risk at any time. How many times did McGee or Parrish get hurt since they have been returning kicks with the Bills?
  20. I think we should wait to see if anything more then a news article comes from this before the NFL suspends him for something the police haven't charged him with. But to the others, who cares how much of a piece of crap his father is/was. It is now excusable to pull a gun on someone just because they weren't a good parent? Unless his father pulled out a gun too, or had another weapon, which according to the report that came out, he didn't, there is absolutly no reason to pull a gun out. And I would think that you would hear in the story that the father was taken away by the police if a guy with a 9 year stint in prison had a weapon and threatened to use it. This all sounds like a heated arguement between him and his father/family, and he made a bad judgement to pull a weapon out during it. This doesn't warrant a suspension, but it could warrant some Anger management/counsiling, and the league keeping an eye out on him right now
  21. LOL, the reactions here are hilarious. If he was playing for any other team, the reactions would all be that he has not changed and is still a possible punk. But because he is a Bill we all should reserve judgement and that it was probably someone elses fault that he pulled the gun. No one is saying he should be cut, just that he probably needs some serious help Looking at what we know as facts from the article and his past Fact 1 - He has a past incident where he was in a domestic dispute that became physical with his girlfriend and baby Fact 2 - He was at a family get together with parents that weren't in his life much, and a father who was in prison for 9 years on drug charges Fact 3 - A weapon that he has registered to himself was pulled out by him during a confrontation with his father Fact 4 - The police were called to the scene to investigate and no charges were laid Now using some of my amateur sleuthing skills I had picked up from reading Hardy Boys novels as a kid, and watching Scooby Doo, I can come to a fair assumption that An arguement had probably broken out between him and his dad, and it probably started to get heated. For some reason Hardy pulled out his gun that he carried (to a mothers day BBQ with his family) during the confrontation and may have pointed it at his father. Either way it was pulled out, therefore there was some intent to use it to either scare someone, or hurt/kill them (if it wasn't pointed, then it was obviously just to scare them) Someone called the police and they came out to investigate and decided not to file charges (also leading me to believe that he didn't point, and only pulled it out to scare someone he had a confrontation with. Also leading me to believe that no one else pulled a weapon or threatened to hurt anyone else. Now after hearing this, I do believe that Hardy needs help. Yes the second amendment says he has a right to bare arms, and the gun was registered, but no where does it say that he can take the gun out and use it (or threaten to use it). Using a gun on an intruder, or on someone who has a weapon and is threatening your life can be defended as self defence. Someone who feels the need to carry a gun to a family gathering, is not showing good judgement by keeping in contact with this family, especially in a high profile proffession that he is in. Anyone that feels the need to pull out a gun during an altercation when the other person does not have a weapon also needs some help to learn that a gun should be a last resort form of self defence. And for someone with a past situation of domestic violence, it shows that he does have some issues that need to be dealt with. it doesn't matter that his father was in jail for 9 years, that might be part of the root of his problems, but its not an excuse for his behaviour All Bill and some of the others not defending his actions are saying is that they hope he does get some help so that he doesn't end up the next Henry, Pacman, or Johnson, and that he can get his act together. Maybe I don't get it because I live in Canada and not in a City called Toronto, so I frequently can leave my door unlocked, or walk outside at night, and not have to carry a weapon on me where ever I guy "for protection". And I don't need to carry a weapon to a family gathering
  22. Good idea, then they can draft more Duke Prestons, instead of Ashton Youbouty's!
  23. the thing with stroud though was that he wasn't a FA, so first he would have to find a team willing to give up something of value for him, then it also had to be a situation where he feels he would be the best fit for the playing time he wants. Another team might have been willing to give up something to get him, but they may be pretty much set at starting DT so he would see limited playing time. Buffalo was a great fit because he would automatically step in and start, and get the most playing time, plus since they use a rotation, he would get some rest to stay healthier. I am still skeptical on him just because of the injury history, but thats something that we all won't know about until things get started for the season, and their doctors feel he is 100% (or close enough to it)
  24. He is really going to have to step it up in training camp and earn a spot this year. He won't have a free ride anymore relying on his potential. the Bills seem to be sending him a big message that he has to step up or he is gone. the Bills front office and coaching staff is serious in trying to improve this team and are sending the message to alot of players that they need to up their game, or they will be looking for jobs. Wright was supposed to be a good talent that could replace A-train, but they said near the end of the season that he just didn't get it and was having trouble in practice learning the plays, limiting his time on the field and getting beat out by a player who came to play and stepped up his game. Same with Youbouty, who was projected at one point as being a possible 1st rounder, he has had 2 years and he hasn't stepped up, and is getting beat out by a guy who stepped up his game and came to play. The Bills are at that point now where they can't keep using the "rebuilding" excuse and they can't keep waiting for players to eventually get better. if there is someone being out performed, they will lose their job. It shows the Bills are serious when they say that every job is up for grabs, and everyone has to compete for a starting spot. As for Youbouty, name one play besides the INT in the final game that you can remember he made in over 2 years?
  25. don't they usually have 2 guys back returning kicks? I think they will have both back and let teams pick who they want to kick it to. Its definitly not a bad thing to have too many threats in the return game.
