  1. McGee and Greer is not a "solid 1-2 starting rotation" They are good, but not Solid
  2. Not trying to start up the whole arguement again about the non-incident, but how does this clear the air? The guy who was being accused of doing something comes out and says its a misunderstanding and blown out of proportion. Thats it. He acknowledges that something, like an arguement, did happen, and that he needs to make wiser choices and watch who he associates with. He doesn't clear up exactly what happened. It just seems like the usual comments from someone being accused of something says. He doesn't really deny much
  3. Smoking, or being overweight won't affect your work (unless you have a job that requires you to do alot of strenuous physical work) like alcohol will, so I do think that firing or threatening to fire over being overweight or smoking is wrong.
  4. I was board when afternoon when I was younger so I wanted to see if it actually worked and I put in a beatles 8-track. It was playing "Hey Jude, and Paperback Writter at the same time. I was scared to put any in because they were so old and barely used I figured they would just crumble to dust
  5. How did you manage to steal that guitar??? Before my parents split, my dad had alot of old electronics stuff, like a Radio/8-track/record player that still worked, plus a huge box of 8-tracks and records
  6. My father worked for GM as a forklift driver, nice job with great pay and little work. He was an alcoholic and had been caught drunk at work and sent home once. Caught again, sent straight to a local rehab centre. Caught again and sent to a stricter rehab centre that he was kicked out of. His work was pretty much through with him by that point but he managed to convince them that his problem wasn't alcohol, but stress. So they told him they would re-consider reinstating him if he attended AA and stress management. I think that the rules are way too lax when it comes to this kind of stuff. You are right, just claim you are an alcoholic before they fire you and then say its a disease/disorder and they can't fire you
  7. I thought they cut him due to his substance abuse problems
  8. Were they the old ones with the large drum and the wringers? My Grandmother had 2 of those old ones in her basement that she still used (and might still use them). As for in my house, I still have an original Atari 2600 that still works, except for the controlers
  9. I also don't think that he is "not good enough" He is good, just not great/dominating like every expects and wants from the players on the line. The Bills line was alot better last year, and became better as the year went on and they worked together more. Yes there are better centres in the league, but they don't have to have one to be a playoff team, or even a SB contender.
  10. What did I assume?
  11. Nothing, I have been told that there is no problem, and no incident, he did nothing wrong and this is a non issue, believing anything else makes you a moron and an idiot who "assumes" things I originally said that he should probably be looking into some counsiling on anger management if this is true because pulling a gun (which theres no proof he ever did) on anyone unless its a life or death situation and the other person has a weapon is not something civilized people do in an arguement. But I have been shown the error of my ways by the upper echelon members of this board that my views were wrong because there never was an incident and nothing needs to be done.
  12. Why? apparently he has no character issues that would require any type of worry for the Bills.
  13. Which of course can only be built through the draft, no other way They should let every linemen currently on the roster not brought in through the draft go and replace then with early draft picks since thats the only way to go.
  14. Don't even bother arguing it, the higher powers here at TBD have determined that it is a non issue that should be ignored and swept under the rug. None of us were there to witness it first hand so we are destrying this young mans character, and no charges filed = no crime. You don't want to join the "Moron Club" with me and Joe Miner because we didn't agree that it is such a non issue and everything is just fine with him.
  15. Have I? I never said that I want them to move, only that I can understand why it would happen. But please, keep insisting that I am not a true fan and want to see them playing in Toronto instead. Why am I a moron for making an assumption about Hardy? And it wasn't really an assumption, at the time it was based off of what was being reported in the news. All the comments were based on what was being presented as facts in a news article. You made a comment here insinuating that a player is gay, and saying it was only a joke I'm sure non of this has to do with the teams they play for as far as the treatment of a player
  16. You still made an assumption by making a joke that he is gay, due to some photo's that don't show him doing anything that would make him gay, and something you don't have any proof of. Thats ruinning someones character over the internet, something that Darrin was going on about in the thread about Hardy because some people said that if he pulled a gun on someone he should seek counsiling. And you took the same stance as Darrin You called me and others morons for basically doing the same thing with hardy, assuming something about someone without knowing all the facts, with the only difference being the uniform they wear. Therefore making you a Hypocrite Oh, and by the way, have you been able to find any actual proof of me wanting to see the Bills move to Toronto? One of the assumptions you made about me without any facts
  17. Oh, ok, I get it now, its just a joke when you assume something and try ruining someones character when they aren't a Bills player gotcha, just wanted to clear that up
  18. that was all I remember about the ending, was her going back into the office and seeing Dwight and Angela. I don't remember anything about Toby and Pam though I'm still trying to figure out who is leaving to be in the spin-off that will probably be a flop like the majority of popular show spinoffs these days. The whole Kevin/retarded thing was probably my favorite, and Dwight having his cousin come down and put the Raccoon in her car too
  19. Well, his name isn't Melvin Fowler, or Duke Preston, so obviously he has to be a better player, sign him up! As for Archuleta, its already been discussed, he may be a freak physically and athletically, his football skills are apparently worse then anyone the Bills already have or have had at that position
  20. So, you are assuming that from a couple pictures of a guy drinking with his shirt off, and you not actually being there, or having any evidence to support it, that he is gay?
  21. And you keep assuming I am saying he definitly, 100%, without a doubt is guilty, when all I am stating is that if he did it, its a bad judgement call Saying he did, or saying he didn't is the same thing right now, they are both based on assumptions. Unless you were there to see exactly what happened. You are basing it off of the officers not pressing charges, which does happen if they feel that the situation was resolved and there is no need to charge anyone (or sometimes because the fault is on both parties), and you are saying I am assuming he is guilty because of an article that said a witness said he had a gun.
  22. So you are making an assumption about me without any facts And all I ever said was that if a gun was pulled, he should be sent to some anger management/counsiling because he has some problems.
  23. Thats what I have said The thing is, you can't be scared to play your best players at positions they excell at just because they could get hurt. Talk to the coaching staff, Special teams is just as important, and if you have one of the best return guys in the league, you don't take him off for a scrub just because you are afraid they could get hurt. The only time you might is if there is a backup who is just as good as the starter, like, lets just say Wendling was a great return guy, and just as good as McGee, you might decide to use Wendling first just because he is a backup
  24. I hope you aren't assuming anything without having any proof When did I ever say I wanted them to leave Buffalo? Was it when I said that I prefer they stay in Buffalo?
  25. If he was with the Bills I wouldn't be permitted to, there would have to be a logical reasoning for it, where the blood was probably from a deadbeat father, and he was just defending himself. Plus he would be innocent until proven guilty, and only carrying the axe for protection, because its perfectly legal and protected by the constitution. Assuming he committed a crime is just making an @ss of you and me, and makes you a moron because you weren't there to see it first hand
