  1. Maybe it could just be the guy adjusting to the NFL speed right now? You know, since this is just his 5th NFL game People were all over others last season for finding flaws in Trents game because he was just a rookie and needed time. Wasn't this his first full game as a starter too?
  2. Shame on you, for someone who has been a member since 2003 you should know Crayonz better then that and not fall into one of his traps SHAME!
  3. Concussions are always tough to call as to when someone will recover. I believe most sports require the player to go 7-10 days without symptoms to be cleared to play. And once you get one, they usually become easier to get in the future (and worse) For example, Aaron Hill, the Toronto Blue Jays 2nd basemen this year suffered one back before the All Star break, and I don't remember him having problems in the past with concussions, but he missed the rest of the regular season because of it. Tim Connolly of the Sabres missed seasons too due to concussions, while some others have made it back quickly.
  4. I will be extactic if they could trade him this offseason, seeing as how they would ahve pulled a fast one on the league and the other team since they won't own his rights and he will be a FA and walk at the end of the year
  5. i agree, they deserve alot of credit. They beat teams that not many expected them to beat (except me, I had them to beat Philly yesterday ) That is the sign of a good team. They beat bad teams, and also go in and beat good teams too. Thats how you get respect from the media and recoginised as a top tier team. The last few weeks some have been complaining cause the Bills weren't getting much respect being 4-0 to start the season because of the opponents, and although they couldn't help their schedule and who they faced. Some of the media "experts" were right. Yesterday was the type of game that would have gotten them some respect and recognition. beating the Cardinals, a team that was looked (according to the line last week) as being close to equal to the Bills would have been huge in showing this team is for real. Its not like the bills were putting on games like the Giants have done recently and actually man handled the last few teams (Seeing as how the Raiders and Rams are both beinf viewed as teams in turmoil and at the bottom, they should not have needed 4th quarter heroics to win them), they may have been given more respect. Washington is looking like a team to beat in the NFC and only making that division look even stronger. Like they said yesterday too, Campbell is looking stronger and stronger as the games go on
  6. I love how this supposed dirty player made it so obvious that he intended to hurt Edwards by being the first person to alert and call for the Bills staff to come onto the field and check on Trent because he noticed something was wrong and that it brought back memories of the week before with Boldin. It was not intentional, it was not dirty. If Wilson is fined, then the Bills should be fined for the hit on Warner that busted his chin open
  7. But thats not going to always work against every game. Different teams need different adjustments. Thats why they need to watch game film of what worked against the opponent and what didn't and try to do what worked against them more. The Bills defence obviously didn't watch last weeks Jets Cards game cause then they would have known that pressure on Warner would make him turn the ball over, and that they can be a very dangerous team on offence if they sit back and try to let the Cards beat them
  8. Butler and Walker have not been problems. The problem is that the LT did not get to spend anytime preparing for this season with the rest of his line and caused some of his teammates to have to spend their prep time cover for him at his position Yesterday I noticed Royal being put next to him on some plays to help block. Not something you would expect to see from a Pro Bowler looking for big time money
  9. Its not the offence we should be worried or concerned about, its the defence which had no excuse for what they did yesterday
  10. Even the good things that he did in the game translated directly into Cardinals points. The only way JP could have kept this game in hand is if he kept kneeling the ball on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd downs, and then converted the 4th down for only 10 yards and did it over and over again to keep their defence off the field I'm guessing that by some posts here that Trent would have done that No one is saying that JP played perfect, or played himself into the starting job or put Trents job security in jeopardy. People are only saying that he is not to blame for the end result of this game. That lies squarely on the defence first, who could not do anything to slow the Cardinals down and let them get into the game. I really wonder if they watched game film on the Cardinals from the loss to the Jets. They put no pressure on Warner, which should have been plan #1 to stop them today after the Jets showed in the first half of that game (even the announcers in that game said) that if you pressure him, he will turn the ball over. A turnover by the defence, stopping them just once instead of letting them march up and down the field as if there was no defence out there at all would have been huge. The Bills were not prepared and instead of looking at what worked for another team against them, they just tried to do what they thought might work
  11. I lost it when DJ didn't throw the flag and atleast try to challenge it. It signaled to me that they gave up. Did he really expect his defence, after how they had played to that point, to come up and stop them and get the ball back without anymore damage on the scoreboard? It looked like another coach was yelling at DJ to throw the flag but instead he just put it back into his pocket. I believe it was the turning point for me on DJ. Even the commentators were saying that he should throw the flag and atleast try to see if they will reverse it.
  12. Any Pro Athlete that is tired at that point in a game should be cut and out of the league. These are Proffesionals who are in top physical condition. These are not kids or you and your buddys playing and drinking on a Saturday afternoon. They spend the offseason and training camp getting into shape so they can last longer then the first 5 minutes of a game. If they make a stop, they get off the field. You could blame the offence for making the defence tired if the defence had made the Cards go 3 and out a couple times and JP and the Bills just kept giving the ball right back to the defence. But that didn't happen, the defence could not get off the field and wore themselves down. They were doing themselves in and are to blame. Whats the offence supposed to do, march the ball up and down the field, back and fourth just to keep the defence off the field and give them time to rest cause they can't take being on the field for a couple minutes? Stupid JP, you do suck and the loss is all your fault. Why did you let Lee run the ball into the endzone and score so quickly? You should have directed him to stop at the 1, turn around and run it back the other way so that you could lead them down the field again and kill time off the clock. Then, you could have just kneeled the ball on first, 2nd and 3rd to run the clock down and then thrown a first on 4th down to take more time off the clock.
  13. Seeing as how this is Kurts Wife or Mom coming here to try and make it look like their son or spouse is so underrated and try to drum up support, I'm sure we can assume they have already met and will be at the game on Sunday Wow, Kurt Warner was averaging 2 TD's a game early in his career, in Mike Martz's "Greatest Show on Turf" Offence? That is definitly first Ballot HOF eligibility right there. Actually its probably enough to shut down the HOF all together and just make it a shrine to the greatest (most underrated cause he's Christian) QB of all time!
  14. When the Jackass guys do it, it gets on MTV and they get paid millions to do movies When a woman from Ohio does it, she is arrested and considered crazy/insane
  15. I think Jon Stewart mentioned some extras they threw in last night on the Daily Show. I know its not exactly the most credible source, but usually they use facts, but wrap it in jokes.
  16. Wheres Meazza to end this debate/discussion when you need him?
  17. That was my point, i have never seen someone say Kurt wasn't god because of his religous beliefs. I have seen them say he isn't good because he turns the ball over too much though
  18. But you are not a jersey snob, and if you had their fine eye for fakes, you would be able to join in on the laugh everytime you see someone sporting a knockoff Taking a shot at somoene for tying to pass a replica off as an authentic is fine becuase you are taking the shot at the fact that they are trying to lie about it
  19. And right now, playing at a below Pro Bowl level and actually costing the Bills on some plays (sacks leading to fumbles, costly penalties, etc.) the Bills are 4-0 and atop the AFC East. Maybe we overvalue the importance of having a Pro Bowl LT because Bill has been telling us it is so essential? Maybe you just need a good one with other good players along the rest of the line to be a good team?
  20. Thats exactly what Warren Sapp said http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8636486?MSNHPHMA Well, that and if anyone every calls him and asks about the Raiders, he tells them to stay away
  21. I bought that exact same one last year, along with a Lynch home jersey I doubt its a true "authentic" but who cares. The only ones that will notice are the "jersey snobs" who are willing to drop $300 on a shirt so that they can say they have a true "authentic" jersey
  22. I have never heard anyone diss Kurt Warner, or say he isn't good just because he is religous and thanks Jesus Stop trying to stir up controversy Warner is not even in the top 10 of the starting QB's this Sunday, let alone a top 10 of all time.
  23. Man, when i saw the title i started to get a little worried Its never usually good news when someone says "I saw so and so on the local news the other day........."
  24. Peters won't sign cheap deal right now cause he knows that he can be better. You probably won't here a peep from him and his agent until he gets back to the way he played last year.
  25. I believe he lives there in Chicago. He is also a part owner of the Harry Carreys Steakhouse's. I went to the one downtown when i was there on vacation a couple years ago with some friends.
