It will never happen, TO is always best buddies with his QB's -
A pure Russ Brandon PR marketing move.....
apuszczalowski replied to HelloNewman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course this was a pure PR move. They have probably noticed a drop in their season renewals, either from the worsen economy or disgruntled fans and knew they had to do something so they took a chance and fell for another Drew Rosenhaus scam and the fans bought it hook, line, and sinker. By the time the honeymoon wears off (probably 4th game into the season when TO isn't getting all the passes) they already have the stadium sold out from season ticket holders. But who cares right? The national media now talks about Buffalo, just wait until something happens, the media will continue to talk about Buffalo, except that it won't really be much talking, more laughing. -
Only when he was on a different team, now he is a great guy that can be a leader in the lockerroom and onlymakes the Bills better!!!!
-
I love how everyone now is trying to justify what he has done in the past and making it seemlike it was all nothing. Ask his previous teams and they will all tell you that he isn't worth the headaches. The only way off the field "leagal issues" effect a player is if it causes them to lose time on the field. The stuff TO pulls are worse because his issues are all with his team and on the field. But who cares right? He signed in Buffalo and of course things will be different because he is a big name andthe Bills signed him. Remember Bills fans, you wanted this Bellicheck could come here andbe the next Bills coach and the fans would do a complete 180 on him and praise him and say that anything in his past was nothing, and its not as bad as others might think.

They say theres a sucker born every minute...................... The Bills front office just proved it. Its amazing how everything has shifted by the Bills signing a guy not even Jerry Jones wanted to put up with anymore. Now all of those saying the front office is inept and they were giving up season tickets are now renewing season tickets because they brought in Owens and they think he is going to be a changed man

TO a Leader???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Thats good for a laugh!!!!!!! Vick may have commited a legal crime, but he was only a fraction of the locker room cancer TO has been. -
We just sold our soul to the Devil

No way, Randy Moss can actually catch and hold on to the ball on a regular basis, and is pretty quiet and a good teammate when the team is decent And you are right, if anyone else did this we wouldbe laughing about what a stupid move it was and how TO was going to destroy the team, now we are talking about howthis guy is the best WR ever -
Moss wasn't a headcase until he was playing for a team that wasn't winning. And Moss at his worst is only half the problem TO can be. A friend of mine whos a Cowboys fan, and actually had a TO jersey from when TO signed in Dallas actually laughed at the idea that Buffalo signed him and just said good luck with that. I don't know how they could have the best receiver duo if they can't get the ball to the WR's. How long will the honeymoon last for TO in Buffalo if Trent isn't throwing him the ball 10-20 times a game, and has to take carries away from Lynch and jackson so he can keep TO happy?
-
Just remember that this WR is also a guy who drops about 1/3 of all passes to him and complains when he isn't the focal point of the offence and things aren't going his way. He is also the guy who Jerry Jones, the owner who would sign any headcase/problem player just as long as they could play football well, decided was too much of a problem to keep around and let him go for free, all while taking a $9 million cap hit

Terrell Owens VH1 Reality Show
apuszczalowski replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He may have prefered to have JP has his QB. I'm sure Owens would have loved to have been on the receiving end ofone of those long tosses to Evans he used to throw. -
Will there be a T.O. effect on FA signings?
apuszczalowski replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the Bills aren't "good enough" for T.O. They were desperate enough for T.O -
You actually believe that he will buy a house and throw a party in buffalo after they signhim to a 1 year deal????? Buffalo isa stepping stone to try and clean uphis image to move on to a bigger market

I WILL BUY SEASON TICKET & CORP BOX & TO jerseys
apuszczalowski replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All of you complaining about the Bills not signing anyone, or that are in love with this signing and won't compare about the complaining cause its TO, I hope you are all happy when he is dogging it, or dropping 1/2 the passes to him, or yelling at players/coahes/media on the sidelines because trents not getting him the ball enough. This is a guy who was too much of a headcase for Jerry Jones to think it was worth it keeping him around. This is going to be a disaster if the Bills don't win and its definitly the begining of the end forthe coaches, this move reeks of desperation by the front office and coaching staff and is more of a donahoe move. They have derailed from the way they were building. -
Like others have said, its an interview. They target guys that may be of interest to them, then they bring them in to get more details about them personally. They gage their interest in playing in Buffalo and what it would take to get them signed, then, if the Bills are really interested, they make an offer, if not, they may let them go and bring in someone else. Its not like the Bills are the only team bringing in guys for interviews and not signing them. Alot of players like to shop around and will interview with multiple teams until they find one they like. Sometimes players come in to see what interest the team has in them, and then pass cause its not what they are looking for (Like Taylor, his options were 3rd RB in Buffalo, or possible starter in NE)

[closed]you'd have to be a fool
apuszczalowski replied to Yasin's BILLS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, and so many teams are falling all over each otehr to get him. His last three teams have been willing to give him away, and the most telling, his last team the Cowgirls, who will take any problem player in the league just as long as they are good, just cut him cause they didn't think he was worth the headaches TO is great if you don't want a cohesive team and happy lockerroom, and want to quickly sell some jerseys, but his act gets old really quickly. If Jerry Jones doesn't want to put up with your Sh*t anymore, then you know that its a HUGE problem -
Sabres sign Connolly to new contract
apuszczalowski replied to PastaJoe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yeah, giving a raise to a guy who has barely played the equivelant of 1 season over 3 years is a way to make better the past OOPs! by the current GM DR is a hack of a GM and got lucky that he had a team built for the "New NHL". Instead of adapting when the league went back to the Old NHL, he continues to spend his time hoping the league will go back again. Connolly just ripped Buffalo off for even more money. What did he do to deserve any kind of raise from the front office? He has yet to show he can last a full season -
WR is definitly a need, along with TE, unless the league changes the rules so that Sacks and QB pressure count for 7. A Rookie WR is not the answer, they need someone proven to takethe heat off Evans, a Stud Rookie TE wouldbe fine to compete with Fine and Schoumon.

So the general TSW feeling is no matter what we do
apuszczalowski replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yup, that all sounds about right -
Are tehy up against the cap right now struggling , having to make cuts just to re-sign guys? Right now they are in a comfortable spot where they are no where near the cap There was no way they were taking Jay Cutler, after the QB they had only started one full year for them. They realised that it does take time for players to develop, and don't have the same "Hot Pocket" mentality that fans do wanting instant gratification. He took a team that was 5-11 and made them ALOT younger, gave them flexroom with the cap, and they improved to 7-9, which seems to now be a hurdle they have not been able to cross to get to the next level

The Bills are bringing him in for a visit, I don't think any deal hgas been discussed/made
