ain't gonna happen unless the Bills have secretly made the change to a 3-4 defence and only told themselves and Peppers He wants to play in a 3-4 and has a list of only a couple places he said he will accept a trade to, BUFFALO IS NOT ONE OF THEM CAUSE THEY DON"T PLAY A 3-4 DEFENCE

But with Cutler, they would have a long term QB solution. Cutler is already a Pro Bowl QB. Clemens needs a few years to develop. There isn't much of an age difference between the 2. Basically all they would be doing is putting themselves in a better position now then waiting to see if a current player on their roster can become a player ofthe future

Now that the dust has settled on the T.O. pick up
apuszczalowski replied to macaroni's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem with the deal is that it does nothing to help the team past this season, and its not like they are on the verge of being a SB team, they are barely on the verge of being a playoffteam. T.O. might make them a playoff team, but not much more then a wild card team. Its similar to the Jets signing Favre last year. They took a chance to upgrade their QB position and it worked for a while, but then they collapsed and it set them back. We all just assume that the Bills will now have a great year and that Evans will be happy to share passes, and the #1 WR spot for 1 year, then go back to the way things were last season. We assume Trent is going to love having to look at T.O. first and make sure he gets his catches first so he doesn't let him have it on the sidelines and in the media later in the year. We assume that Hardy will become better just by standing next to T.O. and that he will have no problem notgetting to see the field much to get better cause he is now 4th on the depth chart. We assume that a Offensive Co-ordinator that was "run oriented" last season is just going to be able to turn things around and call more passing plays to keep T.O. happy. We also assume that T.O. will be able to step in and be a model player for one season just because its a one year deal and he thinks no one will sign him if he doesn't change. hopefully it does work, and theres no consequences for the future of the team. -
I love how some of the same people saying not to bring in Cutler because he is a Cancer, a headcase, or has an attitude problem, are the same one that are dismissing T.O. as the same thing and a great pickup because he makes the team better. T.O and Cutler won't have a problem as long as T.O. is getting the ball from Cutler and they are both looking good because of it, just like T.O and trent won't have problems if the same happens with them

Mcgee won't be returning kicks much longer, he is getting too old to do it, and thats one reason why McKelvin was brought in. McKelvin won't be returning Kicks, Punts, and play CB What has Fred Jackson done as a return man that would make you think that the Bills should make him a full time guy? Trading Parrish, who is one of the top returners in the league, should not be shopped unless they are getting something big in return, not just some mid to late draft pick. He is too valuable on ST's to just give away because the bills signed TO for one year.

Jerry Jones in Dallas already tried this approach and it hasn't helpedhis team much on the field Wins can translate to revenue, and Rogers might help them win a couple games. but that effect won't be felt until later in the year. Right now, signing Rogersisn't going to have people running to the box office or to the Bills store for Jerseys. How many Stroud Jerseys do you see being worn around Buffalo? Heck, how many Jason Peters Jerseys do you see being worn? The Bills knew that bringing in TO would spark a huge interest in the team and bring some interest to the team as sales dropped, so they made a deal to bring him in just long enough to get ticket sales up for this year, and to get people to spend money on merchandise. They team isn't close enough talent wise to be a serious SB contender with or without TO, and adding him makes them possible playoff contenders. If they were a WR away from being a SB team, this would have been a football move. But they are not close to that yet, its a pure PR/marketing move. Rogers is not a marketable player and is not a name guy to the majority of fans.

And yet its a huge reason why Peters shouldget more money...................... Atleast Williams played in the Pro Bowl Games

Other Teams are interested in Duke Preston?
apuszczalowski replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, we are talking about the raiders here. If they sign him they will probably make him the highest paid o-linemen in the NFL -
Getting TO and trading for Rogers are 2 very different things. Trading for Rogers is not going to force the Bills to extend the hours of the season ticket box office, and they won't get over loaded with orders for Rogers Jersey at the Bills store. Trading for Rogers might help the defence more, but it won't attract anymore attention to the team from the media then any other FA the Bills signed this offseason.

Newest rumor-Scheffler a Bill?
apuszczalowski replied to toddgurley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not that I am for or against getting Cutler............... But you do realise that T.O's agent wasn't in Buffalo to work out a deal for T.O. either. He was in Buffalo to discuss Jones, the RB he represents and he mentioned what about TO while he was at OBD After hearing that Buffalo signed TO, I think the phrase this offseason should be "Anything Can Happen" -
Best Game Series Ever A Buddy of mine just bought the PS3 because they said they would give him that game for free with the system

Just because McDaniels wants to talk to Cutler, doesn't mean Cutler will stay. Cutler felt betrayed by the new coach who (allegedly) aggressively went after a new QB and tried to deal him as one of his first moves in town, I doubt theres much he could say that will make Cutler want to come back besides "heres some more money and a gaurantee your job is safe"

I think Skooby was also a fan of the T.O Deal too

Because he was a Pro Wrestler, Duh, tehy are all roided up freaks. From an interview about this with Kevin Nash, who says he was a veryclose friend who thought of martin as a littel brother and helped him with Rehab, his problem was with Prescription Pills (muscle relaxers and Pain Pills) Kevin Nash on Test to The Datona Beach News-Journal: "We were really close. I helped him get into rehab. WWE picked up the dollar and helped him through rehab. Andrew went in. He was doing really well, making his meetings. He went over and worked in Japan (recently). He was in that 'not as busy as you once were' routine. We don't know the cause of death, and I would hate to speculate. The combination of muscle relaxers and pain pills are lethal. He was a great guy. I kind of looked at him like a little brother. I considered him one of my better friends. He was a big guy. He was a bud."

Any memorable strip club stories
apuszczalowski replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Lets see......... One time a couple of buddies and I went to the Downer around the time of one of their birthdays. One guy was from somewhere in South America and became friends with my buddy who just had a birthday. The foreign buddy went and bought him a lap dance with Extras. (We only went cause the foreign guy wanted to go). So the stripper takesmy friend downstairs and me and another buddy sat down at a table and waited. Alittlewhile latter my buddy comes back upstairs and tells us that the one guy paid for "extras", but he didn't want them and turned her down. She told him before that he was very polite with her and his grandmother must be proud of him. We found out afterwards that the stripper found the foreign guy and was pissed because she thought he would want his money back cause the otherguy turned down the "extras". During another Birthday Ripper trip we went to Mints in Niagara Falls and the birthday boy gotdragged on stage for a show and dragged around by his belt. Good times that we could not tell his girlfriend The same guy that was given the lap dance with extras, one time was not allowed in to the Downer cause he wasn't wearing a proper shirt. Some friends picked him up right after work to go out and all he had besides his work uniform was a "beater" so thats what he wore. When they got to the doorm they denied him because of his shirt so he had toborrow someone elses extra shirt. Weall laughed at it cause he iswearing something to a place where the workers don't wear anything. The last one was at the end of summer vacation and a bunch of friends were goingback to school so a couple of us thought why not go to the rippers. We didn't feel like driving to the falls that late (we had already been out all night at a local bar) sowe went to Babies in Welland. It was a classy joint (LOL ) and we go in and sit right by the stage. The first girl was young andkind of cute. When she was done she came down and sat with us trying to get one of us to pay for a lap dance, but none of us wanted one but we had her stay there talking to us because when we looked back at the stage, there wasa stripper up there who had to atleast be in her 40's and it was not a pretty sight. -
Toronto Game This Year
apuszczalowski replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will be one of the teams the Bills end up playing at the end of the year, and it will be a game that might have some meaning to it because for what they are paying, the Bills can't just throw Toronto a garbage game that would have little interest outside of the Bills fans. Miami had a long rivalry with buffalo and was a divisonal game, so ithad some meaning to it -
LEE EVANS said hes the #1 WR(not TO)
apuszczalowski replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Name a place where TO was considered the 32 guy? My comment is on the fact that Evans is already saying in interviews that he is the #1 guy. I'm sure that will go overwell with Ownes -
I could care less if Jauron stays or goes I'm just sitting back and laughing at all those posts up until yesterday about how bad Jauron is and how he should have been gone after last season, and now those same people are all excited cause the Bills signed Owens. I guess they don't realise that if the Owens deal works like they say, Jauron is here for another season. (An offseason where many believed a bunch of really good coaches would be available and looking for teams)

LEE EVANS said hes the #1 WR(not TO)
apuszczalowski replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a great thing, lets piss off Evans and make TO the #1 guy for the 1 year he is here See, TO never creates any locker room drama............ -
You do realise that if this does work out, it means more Jauron in Buffalo? TO became pissed and a malcontent because Tony wasn't including him in his sleepovers and not getting him the ball enough. Hopefully Turk has thrown away all his running plays in the playbook so he can keep TO from turning on Trent. TO drops almost as many balls as he catches.

Bills are lost... Why bring in a cancer
apuszczalowski replied to jms62's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was a PR move no question, to sell tickets. I'm glad so many people are excstatic cause if he does well, it means more Jauron in Buffalo! If he does bad, the DJ is gone and its anotehr year of no playoffs Who cares, ITS A BIG NAME SIGNING AND MEDIA NOW TALKS ABOUT BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
How can grabbing the most talented WR in the league...
apuszczalowski replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But they didn't sign in Buffalo so they suck -
Leodis McKelvin should improve
apuszczalowski replied to youbotymyboty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You just have to hope that you are covering him enough that the 50% of the time he catches the ball you are there -
But, But But....... His Agent said there was interest and that he would definitly be signed by the end of next week, and the bills FO bought it I thought I heard that even Al Davis said no way to TO Lets all just forget that Dallas, the destination for every problem child player as long as they are good, gave him up and took a $9 mil cap hit because they were sick of him
